Dont buy it eventhough is cheap/affordable for the sake of. Have a plan when going thrifting. And look for pieces that you can mix and match.

Been binge watching her videos & also shudder at some of her choices. That is, until she tries them on & also when she does her lookbook. A-MAZING. Erica beautifully brings a freshness & vitality to her vintage finds that is quite transformative. It might be her gentle sweetness & adorable figure. Plus, her enviable styling skills. And, yes she does look a bit like that actress💟.

What size is the liz claiborne? I love their sweaters too. They last really long and people ignore them at the thrift store. I have a skirt by them too. It is one of my fav quality brands
I love vintage lingerie too. I don't think it is weird but I have heard that some people do. I think that LC 2 piece set looks completely amazing on you in all the different configurations. Great video! Thanks for sharing.

My mom is a retired florist. You can totally dress up a little if you’re meeting with clients and brides or if you’re delivering a special arrangement.

Great finds and pieces! The purple and teal jacket must be 90's and looks great on you! The adorable Liz set is a much nicer example of the 80's. I am thinking that fast fashion retailers were coming on the scene at that time and so there were lots of crazy super trendy pieces made in the mid to late 80's. Early 80's was a classic preppy look (loafers, button downs , polos and cable knits) but most people don't associate them with that time. Ha ha! Sorry for the history lesson... it's cool to see vintage clothes being recycled. 😊
the eighties was like the golden age of the preppy look and all my super preppy friends love 80's vintage!

The best/worst part about watching thrifting videos is seeing pieces in the clips that you want to pick up!! I need to go thrifting at this store!! Alas I am in Canada. There were so many things that I was excited about. I need to go thrifting now. Also you are so right about sleepwear. I love getting dressed for bed 💜💜

I’m glad I’m not the only one who does that. I did a video with my friend where she went and thrifted for me and watching the footage after, I saw so much good stuff in the racks.
Love this video! I love vintage sleep wear! It always makes me think of Sex and the City! My favourite pieces were the reversible kimono (what a steal!) and the two-piece set! Fantastic styling as always :)

With the sleeveless shirt that was missing the button. Take the top button off and use that, most often the top never gets button up that tight to the neck, I do that all the time:-)
Suzu Ward You’re so right! I’ve actually done that before- or taken from the sleeve buttons. I didn’t get this top because it was $10. A bit too pricey to not be totally in love with it!
Oh my, I really enjoyed the thrift trip and the added statements about around what time period it was from while looking through the racks. Then the dressing room try on you give us your thought process on why you were getting something or not and the question we all have that thrift "what going on with the pricing?" Here you go spoiling us again and you give us styled look book with different ways the piece can be worn. The polka doted blouse look great with kimono with the green side out because it had white dotted lines which stood out with the pattern on the shirt. Girl you are real good. Also like the oil lamps you got for the outdoors at $3 a piece, you can't beat that. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you in 2019.

I liked everything you got on this haul, especially the red cardigan (also my obsession). The Liz Claiborne set was a super find and fits you like it was made for you! I like that you can wear the pieces individually, too. The lavendar dress was beautiful, but I'm allergic to wool and could feel myself itching just looking at it! I agree - I wish you had gotten the sleep set. That was too cute! Blessings all!!!! 💜💜

Everything you purchased looks amazing on you! My favorite by far is the two piece set by channel! Something I do that really helps my closet and my wallet out is, I only purchase items that I love! If I’m not sure about the piece in the store, it stays there. You have wonderful personal style!

Okay. I just have to say, you are so adorable and I love your style, similar to mine, and the fact that you thrift inspired me to pick up the hobby again. I've been here in Southern California for a year now (originally from a small town in Connecticut and an avid thrifter) I gave up thrifting here. The prices were a bit discouraging and I just wasn't able to find good quality items. But as soon as I started watching you, I got that urge again and went out if my way to find the smaller thrift stores. What a huge difference! I'm so excited to see what I can find and style! As for the vintage lingerie, I ❤️❤️❤️. I’m always drawn to the lingerie section at the thrift stores! I have found pretty amazing vintage pieces🌹 I love coordinated silky pj sets and dainty slips. I wear the slips daily under my dresses/skirts as they polish the over all look.

@@annaswanson5903 Well, not really, especially since a lot of what's on trend now are inspired by the 80's and 90's (utility, floral print, batik print, crochet, animal print, earth tones, multi-colour, etc.) - from the minimalist strappy sandals and silk cami dresses (a la 90's Clueless) to vintage YSL or Missoni prints to the less aesthetically pleasing bike shorts and ugly dad sneakers . These are trends we've all seen before and, chances are, you can find them in any thrift or vintage shops. In this video alone, Ericka already found a utility vest, the natural-coloured co-ord set and ribbed tank top., the floral boho maxi dress, and the batik/African print jacket. It's a skill, however, to make these items look contemporary by creating outfits that work for you. :)
