    I appreciate the content. I have my CDL and a truck made for the oilfield. I have a double frame Iveco cabover that has a baby sleeper and full lockers. It was built for the military as a tanker tractor and it has about 30,000 miles on it, so it is like new. I want to buy a triple axle vacuum trailer so I can haul 150 barrels of water.

    Hope all is well my man! How has work been lately? Any content to post? Love seeing the industrial equipment with the expansive landscape in the background... especially when its snowing.

      It’s been pretty slow up here the last couple of months. I’m covering a frac job right now, so not really anything new to post. If they have me do something different I will make sure to get it on for you. Thanks for watching.

    I live in New Mexico right now but I think my truck would fit well in the Dakotas. I think mud, snow, and ice, would be perfect for my truck. I am looking for the most challenging conditions. I think that is where the money is.

      There is still a fair amount of pretty decent work up here. I would definitely recommend it.

      Thank you for the advice and I hope I can make it to the Dakotas. I think I will make bank there.

    You need to post more videos. You mentioned that they wanted you to water the pad. We don’t know what that means and we want to learn. Please post more videos

    You'd be surprised, take videos of something every day, all day it will come in handy and get a external harddrive for all of it....

      @@LoganNisly Hi Logan, keep pushing towards your goal. You can pretty easily make 100,000 per year in the oilfield up here. The company I drive for is DC Trucking. We haul water for Mongoose trucking and Slawson oil.

    Is there anything available for new CDL driver

    • @northdakotadriver5714
      @northdakotadriver5714  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There are some companies up here that will hire new drivers. They will train you too. You just have to call some of them and talk with them. They typically start you off at lower pay, but after 6 months to a year you should ask for a raise.

    What is the average $$$ per load a driver should make in North Dakota? I just got a job in North Dakota but I'm getting paid by the load not by the hour.

    • @northdakotadriver5714
      @northdakotadriver5714  17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Typically a decent percentage for water should be around 30%. Some places pay more and some pay less.

      @northdakotadriver5714 When they say $230 a load, is that my money or I get 30% of that?

    • @northdakotadriver5714
      @northdakotadriver5714  17 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@Gilbert-i8z Normally it’s 30% of the 230. Sometimes the company you drive for has to pay the dispatch 15% of the 230 and then you get paid after that.

      I think if you add more videos people will watch, even if repetitive stuff. To most of us the information is new, and seeing it over and over is like educating. If I make it to the oilfield I think I will equip my truck with cameras and post about everything. For the people wanting to get into water hauling, those videos will be priceless.
