i think it’s bc they’re taken directly from the game, which is run on a low resolution. Most art in the game had to be compressed down to fit the screen because of rpg makers system in general (lol i’m responding 2 years later)
The amount of effort this probably took makes it even more amazing
I like the music and the way the characters look, I might actually see if I can try this game myself
