Her theme and boss battle is pretty good, but nothing (in this chapter) beats the absolute terror of opening the cage full of bears. And realising that they are fast. Faster than you. And that they are blocking the exit. And that you saved quite a while ago.
So everybody was calling her Donut for some reason and it looked weird, only when i came back to her castle later in the game and looked better at her paintings i saw the hole in her belly and understood "OH! she LITERALLY is a donut!"

her fight is honestly one of the best boss fights of the game, thanks to how the "Happy" Emotion influences the stats. It really becomes a race for damage a she either misses you completely or crits you to death, and the music just adds to this frantic feeling. EDIT: yes, thank you everyone for telling me how easy the fight is, even though my comment isn't even acknowledging difficult but literally just "the feel" of the fight.

If you're ever stuck in this fight here's how I did it: - Make omori sad and abuse hack away + stab - Make hero sad so he can sustain your team. I suggest using fast food over cook. - Make aubrey and kel happy by using Team Spirit - For kel, use flex before using either Curveball or run n' gun - For aubrey, abuse the living shit out of mood wrecker. - Pack up on life jams, life packets, or use hero's homemade jam - Once you're ready, release energy Trust me it is absoloutly insane the amount of damage kel is able to do, although be wary since he tends lose a lot of health fast

THIS FIGHT man... it completely obliterated my party's setup and team strat. I built my team's skills and charms to center around: basically "make enemies rage, have my party be ecstatic, for the emotion advantage and crit rate, plus have skills that debuffs enemies if they're angry". but sweetheart literally forced me to re-work my entire skill roster and fight style. it was crazy fun. not to mention the lit soundtrack. damn if I could fight her twice in a row I totally would.

Despite all the fun and games you could unironically put this in a movie where a battle is being fought against aliens and humanity or something bigger where a huge amount of destruction is going on and nothing else would be more epic
Loved this battle. It takes your regular debuff strats you were taught and forces you to focus on your defense. Either adapt quickly to the tide change or watch as she kicks your ass while laughing and mocking your anger in the process.
this boss fight really is the best one in the game, it made me SO TENSE because I knew she would beat the shit out of everyone since she could apply happy to herself

Haha I'll always remember the first time I played, I tried to beat her for an hour, and one time I was sooo close. Her health was entirely down, all my characters' health were up because I just healed them all at the end of the last turn, I just had to hit her once and I'ld win so I made them all attack. BUT OF COURSE SHE ATTACKED FIRST AND SHE ONE-SHOTED THEM ALL Omori didn't even resist that time... That day Sweetheart killed all my characters + my sanity
Bruhh. Dont forget to use equip and chrams. Set up your team with the best skills. Dont evade enemies. Always fight so you can gain exp. Use hero primarily for cook, snack time, fast food, and use items. For omori make him sad then use stab. Use hack away For aubrey use headbutt and beatdown For kel use richochet Avoid using energy so you can use release energy. If you have to use energy use it on heros followup to recover health and juice. Ive never had problems with any of the bosses in this game
@@Sally-uu3yt same, all of the bosses I got hyped with were purely because of the story because the fights themselves were not very challenging (except for 2 late game bosses) it seems like a lot of people don't realize how overpowered emotion countering is (as in making yourself sad to fight a happy foe, exactly how I beat this fight) and are often afraid to use items because of the "I might need it later" mentality. If that has been a problem to you, trust me, I've used a lot of items in every bossfight and even in normal encounters that were harder than usual and I still finished the game with a ton of unused items in my inventory and over 40k clams, so there's really no need to save stuff for later because you can literally just buy more (items that heal your whole party are specially useful) another thing I'm not sure people notice is how good tofu actually is, specially for early game sure it might be useless in battle because 5 heart is just not worth wasting a whole turn, but if you do the math you'll realize that for the same price you'd buy an item that heals 60 heart, you could buy enough tofu to heal a total of 320 heart, making it super useful for healing between encounters, so you're always sure to enter a fight with full health
I don't even play Omori nor am I in the fandom...Yet. BUT, this theme goes HARD. You know what? I personally adore Sweetheart's character design, I'm definitely gonna draw her.

Haha I'll always remember the first time I played, I tried to beat her for an hour, and one time I was sooo close. Her health was entirely down, all my characters' health were up because I just healed them all at the end of the last turn, I just had to hit her once and I'ld win so I made them all attack.
BUT OF COURSE SHE ATTACKED FIRST AND SHE ONE-SHOTED THEM ALL
Omori didn't even resist that time... That day Sweetheart killed all my characters + my sanity

I'm still trying to beat this boss for 3 days straight. Grinding in games like this are my weak spot for sure.
Bruhh. Dont forget to use equip and chrams. Set up your team with the best skills. Dont evade enemies. Always fight so you can gain exp.
Use hero primarily for cook, snack time, fast food, and use items.
For omori make him sad then use stab. Use hack away
For aubrey use headbutt and beatdown
For kel use richochet
Avoid using energy so you can use release energy. If you have to use energy use it on heros followup to recover health and juice.
Ive never had problems with any of the bosses in this game
@@Sally-uu3yt same, all of the bosses I got hyped with were purely because of the story because the fights themselves were not very challenging (except for 2 late game bosses)
it seems like a lot of people don't realize how overpowered emotion countering is (as in making yourself sad to fight a happy foe, exactly how I beat this fight) and are often afraid to use items because of the "I might need it later" mentality. If that has been a problem to you, trust me, I've used a lot of items in every bossfight and even in normal encounters that were harder than usual and I still finished the game with a ton of unused items in my inventory and over 40k clams, so there's really no need to save stuff for later because you can literally just buy more (items that heal your whole party are specially useful)
another thing I'm not sure people notice is how good tofu actually is, specially for early game
sure it might be useless in battle because 5 heart is just not worth wasting a whole turn, but if you do the math you'll realize that for the same price you'd buy an item that heals 60 heart, you could buy enough tofu to heal a total of 320 heart, making it super useful for healing between encounters, so you're always sure to enter a fight with full health
Don't forget to apply Sadness to your team, it will cost a bit of juice, but the damage reduction is really great.
