I must be right in assuming then that this is the earliest known version of Tsukuba Circuit to be featured in a racing game? And what's more impressive, to me, is that it's not even like you have to squint to make it out - the detail they were able to go to is phenomenal. I think the rest of the world missed something in never seeing this game, because it would have become very popular very fast. It would've been overtaken not long after that by Gran Turismo, but for a while, this would have been right up there with the best in its genre!
