Purely from the heart referencing some of Jeff Beck's techniques and melodic style. But all doing it as pure Eric Clapton! For any of the doubters out there, Eric still has it in spades! Well done and this is one I'm going to watch over and over again! Rest in peace Sir Jeff!🎸🎶💯🌈😔💖

Bravo! As John said, it's about love and the guitar. JB was a maestro. I feel so lucky to have been able to see these amazing musicians. It's hard to not miss JB even more now. Rest easy. We will miss you forever.
My younger brother and I met Jeff backstage at one of his concerts back in72, had the oppurtunity to party with the man a short bit and got to know and really see what a kind, humble soul he really was. On a couple of occasions he sent us back stage passes to his concerts here cause we hit it off and all enjoyed partying together. I have been a huge fan since his days with the yardbirds and all his following albums, he truely was a master of the guitar on a par of Hendrix but he innovated it to new heights and technicalities. He actually had a good voice but didn't sing all that much choosing more to use his guitar to do the singing. I surely miss him hope I see him in the next place, don't be late!

I'am so amazed with Derek's JB impression, he really gets there, I can really hear Jeff Beck over there, despite using completely different technique. Insane!
The slowhand here in concert and the softhand there in paradise - good combination! After a turbulent and creative life, Mr. Clapton's heart is in the right place...

In the 1960's Cream with Eric Clapton played at the Boston Tea Party. Tickets were $3.50! For a less than 1,000 person venue. Not $100, not $500, not $1,000 like the bloodsuckers today. Thank you for making this free. It's priceless. Best health to you.
I never doubted that Jeff is unique and one of the best, now in this tribute we just proved that he is not one of the best, but the best! Look how it takes 3 eminent guitarists to play to accomplish what he did alone...he held the melodic line, did a solo and sang with the guitar. The one and only! We already miss you Jeff, R.I.P
Clapton no sólo destaca por lo Gran guitarrista y músico que es, también por su lealtad, corazon, entrega y humildad. Un ser de altísima estatura humana al que le debemos tanto y tan bueno. Siempre en nuestros corazones.
The amps make the sound so perfect. None of your electronic messing and tweaking except for footpedals. Pure music from masters of their craft. You can feel the magic - and I'm not even high!
@user-gt5o9bg4x Yes. A player's personality is expressed through their playing. How fast they make their runs , pales next to the depth of feeling ,heartache, passion or joy is conveyed . To reject , or write off one player is to invalidate them as a human being.
An emotional tribute co-directed by Mr. Clapton. So many beautiful moments and vivid emotions that Beck, Clapton, Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood brought into my life. I cried a lot watching the video of the show Very exciting the participation of Ronnie Wood and Rod Stewart who were part of Jeff Beck's life. Jeff Beck was one of a kind and he is sorely missed by those who loved his technique and stage presence. I thought it was strange that Jimmy Page didn't participate because Beck and Page had a beautiful history together. I feel happy and sad at the same time writing this text. I wish from the bottom of my heart many more years of life for Clapton, ROd Stewart and Ronnie Wood because they still have many moments to bring to my life with their music.

@@chuckyoneill9029 NOBODY loves Jeff Beck more than me. I think Eric Clapton is a bit of a phony, he's always got a fake humility which is pretentious and pandering and I havent liked any of his music since 461 Ocean Blvd. So to have him, of all people, pay tribute to a humble musical genius like Sir Jeff Beck really irks me. But, to each their own.
I was there - whole thing was awesome, and alot of fun! Johnny Depp cracked me up because I'm not sure he actually played his guitar. Who cares - Jeff loved him and why not ?!
I’m sure he played, but feeling inside terror playing amongst his guitar icons. Despite that, they all so respected his playing. So happy Johnny had the friendship with Jeff Beck
The number of top tier guitarists on the finale is amazing. Clapton, Gibbons, McLaughlin, Trucks, Hammett, Clark and Wood. Jeff often said that McLaughlin was the greatest guitarist in the world, and Trucks is almost certainly the best slide player ever. All the rest are giants and legendary also.

Tolles Concert. Trauriger Anlass. Jeff Beck hat dieses Tribute Concert mehr als verdient . Jeff Beck war großartig.
Derek Trucks Has To Be The Successor To Clapton As The Best Blues Guitarist On The Planet!🎸🎸🎼🎵🎶❤️❤️❤️❤️
Eric Clapton is my Favorit Guitar Player 👏👏👏
In the 1960's Cream with Eric Clapton played at the Boston Tea Party. Tickets were $3.50! For a less than 1,000 person venue. Not $100, not $500, not $1,000 like the bloodsuckers today. Thank you for making this free. It's priceless. Best health to you.
Nice to hear some old Yardbirds.😊
wow, thank you soooo much. this is amazing
Merci 👍 🙏💕
And I was there ❤
❤Great
Fender Stratocaster …awesome
Fender amp ….awesome
Fender tone with Eric Clapton, playing ….extremely awesome!
Just beautiful thanks❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The amps make the sound so perfect. None of your electronic messing and tweaking except for footpedals. Pure music from masters of their craft. You can feel the magic - and I'm not even high!
yet
Fantastic tribute to a legend by legends… and please skip comments like "he or him is better than etc"… Music is not a sport!!
@user-gt5o9bg4x Yes. A player's personality is expressed through their playing. How fast they make their runs , pales next to the depth of feeling ,heartache, passion or joy is conveyed . To reject , or write off one player is to invalidate them as a human being.
Tributo
Yes thank you ❤
Sweet. Thank you.
Love this song so much Eric Nathan Doyle Sonny Chris Sharon Katie God bless all of you 🙏❤ lovely tribute ❤Forever Fan ❤
An emotional tribute co-directed by Mr. Clapton.
So many beautiful moments and vivid emotions that Beck, Clapton, Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood brought into my life.
I cried a lot watching the video of the show
Very exciting the participation of Ronnie Wood and Rod Stewart who were part of Jeff Beck's life.
I also wondered why Jimmie wasn't there. Maybe he was unable to due to scheduling issues/commitments.
@@shaykatz5648he won’t perform anymore, officially retired from playing
@@LetsBeHonestImAPrat Thanks for update on J.
Paige. So many great performers from 60's-70's-80's&90's are either hanging up their hats (instruments) & retiring or sadly passing away...,
+1 Oh my Gawd !! . Drummer Sonny Emory has the goods!! Rest in Piece Jeff Beck.
Beautiful, Jeff must be smiling💗🎸

@@CHodgy You troll everything
@@chuckyoneill9029 You're not gonna type it twice?
@@CHodgy Troll
Vielen, vielen lieben Dank, dass ich das Konzert auch so mithören darf, große Freude und große Trauer 🙏✌️
Thank you for Sharing. It's been almost 20 years since I attended Clapton's Live 2003 in Tokyo. RIP Jeff.
its quite something that a Pedal Steel player plays the signature leads on Freeway Jam! + Gary C, amazing!!! +
クラプトンの指弾きに感激しました。ありがとうクラプトン、そして本当にありがとうジェフ・ベック、心よりご冥福をお祈りします。
Wow! The Peter Green/Gary Moore guitar best in show for me. That and Dericks Goodby Pork Pie Hat.
Grandiose et magique merci Mr slowhand
Jeff the legend, for me he was the one!
Yes, and they STILL couldn't play with the finesse, tone, and drive that Jeff had. It was evident on Beck's Bolero. Jeff was a set of one.
There is no "'best " in art .Matter of taste. In sport there is "Best.
It makes cry
Fantastic
God bless

Many thanks. Just awesome. 😃
