The northern suburbs used to all be like this, although not gated and not all neighbourhoods as leafy as this estate. On my last visit to Zim, although roads were not maintained, many of the old neighbourhoods I knew growing up were the same. With the exception of Highlands, I found parts of Highlands unrecognizable when I last visited Zim. The lack of maintenance of grass verges, etc, by the municipality meant tall grasslands disguised certain landmarks. The Brooke remains beautiful. Thank you for the drive through.😊
There is another estate just down the road maybe a km from the Brooke. Looks promising.such a leafy area and the entrance is already promising to be a grand estate.

Not sure if they are still selling stands, currently servicing but thought l saw a state of the art house already under construction. It's on your way to crowhill but soon after the brooke.
