This is probably one of the last if not the last televised monster jam that even remotely has an old school feel that I miss. A dynamic track the wore away as the night went on, tough meents vs Anderson competition, very high momentum runs, the fact that different tracks will have noticeably different conditions (ex. The fact that cuse had very loose dirt, not to mention actually seeing different courses with every show), trucks actually having different setups (not seeing bkt all over the place and different chassis and indie trucks showing up @robrobbins in aftershock), and having Scott Douglas who sounded so natural and organic and not so forced and stiff and obviously scripted as the new Scott does. Things were just more fun and enjoyable like this. Hopefully the 2019 season will be decent but running the exact same track every single show through each series will get so stale so fast I know it. After all that same thing/feeling has been happening since 2016. This is why I go back to watch the old videos instead of the new episodes, it was actually fun then.
I hope someone at monster jam or feld or whatever sees this and takes this into consideration when seeing that not all the fans are little kids who will buy into anything loud and colorful, but that there actually are fans from the past decades that actually want to see more variety between shows and something that isn’t so obviously scripted and stiff.
Love watching the Andersons drive! Max-D though... that was epic!

Wish this was a 45 minute video with all of the racing competition included, not just the final. Loved seeing Nicole, Rod and Lindsey again and a rare sighting of Crushstation 👍

Monster Jam has been to Syracuse since 2011
2011-2013 wasn't televised
2014 was The first year that Syracuse was televised
i remember going to this show as a kid. dont remember much, but this was the first and only monster jam show i've been too. if they come back to the carrier dome in the future, i'd love to see it again since i'm getting back into monster jam
crazy to think that this is almost 10 years old. i vividly remember watching this on tv as a kid
