Okay so am I the only one who sees the resemblance to phineas and ferb here ???the grandma the grandpa and the boy all of them are modified versions right ?
So what happens of the doctor doesn't order imaging and just tells the patient it's gas? In my experience doctors can be quite short sighted and miss even the most obvious things.
the treatment doesn't work, so the patient returns, and then paraclinical exams will be made, this clinical presentation is very common, I can think of at least 6 parasites with the same clinical presentation, not to mention non infectious causes, and yes doctors can be very short sighted !
