I've ridden on my recumbent trike, pulling a trailer with too much gear from Palm Springs to Tucson.
That climb out of Indio up to Chiraco Summitt is a mutha!
13 mile climb about 1,200 feet climb. I road on the fwy.
The shoulder on I-10 from Chiraco Summitt to Blythe is horrible...cracks
Also, from Chiraco Summitt to Blythe is not 40 miles but 68 miles.
