- How to connect wireless car play on EC OFFROAD Head Unit
Before Starting, make sure you are not connected to any bluetooth or wifi connections. Once you aren't connected to anything else besides from the head unit, assure your wifi is turned on, and then turn your bluetooth on.
Then while in your bluetooth menu, search for your head unit's bluetooth name on your phone, and use the passcode provided to make a solid connection.
Once connected, open up TLINK or ZLINK on your Head Unit and then it will ask you on your phone if you want to use CarPlay.
Once you do this, it should automatically connect.

How do these units handle playing FM radio while in CarPlay mode? Can the radio play in the background while CarPlay is running? What happens when you get a call? Does the radio stop and CarPlay takes over the call audio, and then resumes the radio once the call is ended? What about GPS navigation, does it do the same with the voice prompts?
Bought one of your head units from bayswater shop but Tlink asks for activation code. can you provide please?

hi, i have t link in my car play ,it sometimes doesn t connect via bluetooth, with usb the connect is not stable , i tried everything possible shown in different videos like restarting the car play ,forgetting /deleting the car bluetooth and re connect from the scratch but nothing is working for me,kindly respond

I recently had fitted an Android 10.25” Screen to my car. Following exactly as you have shown, I can get ZLink to start CarPlay 8/10 times. What I haven’t been able to do is to plug in the USB cable and switch on the iPhone’s Hotspot to link the Android to the internet. Every time I try, the Android’s Hotspot Wi-Fi connection stops and I lose CarPlay. Additionally, I can’t get the Android to recognise the USB tethered connection. Any idea would be greatly appreciated?

How do I fix the issue of no sound from CarPlay after answering phone call via car radio unit?

@@denisgately4701 I got mine fixed at the car sound shop, and learned how to fix it next time. It’s pretty simple. I’m not sure what type of car you have. I have an Infiniti. Go to apps, then settings, then sound, then make sure all buttons are turned up. I learned that the car unit sometimes resets some of the sounds on the CarPlay unit.

How da fuq do you get music on the decks hard drive to play while using car play, and have all the phone and messaging features work seamlessly
This app is restricting in being able to do things in and our of car play. it's one of those things that you either use it through car play or outside of CarPlay. Not both.

The T Link App comes with our head units. This is not a free to download product, nor do we offer it outside of our head units

No, you do not connect it to wifi hot spot. If you follow the instructions in the video, all will work fine. nothing extra is needed to be done if you have our EC Offroad head unit

This is normal. It Uses bluetooth to make the connection, and then transfers data via wifi. So both will become unused once a connection is made.
Sir, in my car having Tlink1.8.9. with wire, Android auto is working but with wireless it is not connecting. It shows connecting continuously

@@annafaraoni7158same here but i tried to keep the wifi on on my iphone and most of the times when it connects to the airplay, the bluetooth should be turned off and the connection will move to wifi.
