    It's cute that OP thinks granny did not know what was going on. Granny got to ruin the thief's wedding, and allow a kudnapper get sent to jail. Good job granny!

      Too many stories like this where a parent wants one of their children to forgive the other regardless of the circumstance. "But she tried to kill me!", parent says but that's in the past, get over it and accept her.

    • @ravenfox926
      @ravenfox926 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@IzzyPR2010 yep. One of my great aunts expected my cousin to forgive her older bro for trying to pimp her out, then rape her - he didn't succeed and ended up with a kick to the nads, a broken knee and a concussion when she beat his and his friends (the two he tried to sell her to) ass with a tire iron.
      That crazy bitch expected my cousin to not only have him come to her wedding, but - as her dad was dead) walk her down the isle! She of course told that woman that she was fucking delusional if she thought her per bro would be allowed within 50 miles of her, then she called all of us - who promptly called and told her off.

  • @thebhome

    ESH is good for everyone. Yes, OP was wronged, but she did steal a dress, altered it, and lied about it. But the sister went too far. Just because your sister steals the guy? You had to go and pretend to be here to marry them? Did she think divorce is just a fable story? Like, the husband could get an annulment, but I guess it's the "I did it first" mentality... IDK, ESH for me. But OP didn't have to defend her sister. She locked the bride in a basement and didn't get out till the evening. Thousands of dollars and preparations were to be ruined because the sister couldn't handle defeat.

  • @maurer3d
    @maurer3d 2 ปีที่แล้ว +51

    Story 1: ESH, If this story is true, both sisters are sociopaths and fiancee should have run for the hills..
    Story 2: NTA, next time she does this call the police and your dad.

    Story 1, sister wasn't just jealous that op got the guy she HATED that op got the guy and therefore hated op. Given how she treated op and hated I'm not surprised that she planned to ruin op's life for marrying the man she wanted it just shows that she's the evil twin. Not surprised that she said that she isn't doing anything wrong because she thinks she's taking what should have been hers. She's psychotic if that's what she thinks and has been obsessed with op's fiance. That's karma that slapped her when the fiance knew she wasn't op and took op's place in jail. She has no right to judge op after trying to steal op's identity and op's life just because she can't get over that she couldn't get the guy but op did. Yes, it was a bit shady is was to make sure the evil twin doesn't try to do it again and stays away.

    Story 1 You were an Ahole for stealing your grandmother's dress, that was a serious breach of trust on your end. The crazy twin deserved what she got. She does deserve to have charges pressed against her for what she did to you. Knowing the history you should have had a shinier spine and never invited her in the first place. The people having a go at OP about apparently going after a boy that the other twin also liked forget that the BF now husband has a brain too and can choose for himself whom he likes.

But let OP punch her in the face and/or call they police for stealing her stuff and suddenly she would be in the wrong. OP was not the asshole for calling a thief a fucking thief, especially to her face, and certainly not after REPEATEDLY stealing from her.

  • @davidignacio3009
    @davidignacio3009 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    Story 1 is a waste of time. This is not true and could not happen except in some soap opera. This is definitely untrue or too stupid to be true for several reasons - (1) Bride stealing her grandmother's wedding dress, altering it and somehow planning to return the dress in almost original condition knowing that the grandmother would be in the wedding; (2) the twin "imprisoning' her twin sister thinking she can pull it of, marry the fiance and thinking she would be legally married to him (and not to be found out until what - several days later and somehow thinking she can pull it off, the marriage to be valid, etc.), I have not known any country or jurisdiction where weddings like this could be considered valid or acceptable;; (3) grandmother willing to put her family in a scandalous situation, accusing and causing her granddaughter of theft causing her to be arrested and imprisoned because of a wedding dress that somehow is too valuable.without asking first the reasons or circumstances behind it. There is too much BS in this story that even Fairy tales are more believable than this one.

    Last story: The girl friend sounds like one of those 'Don't you trust me? Then let me do it." types. OP was going to lose no matter what. If he made sure ETA and connections were confirmed he wouldn't be allowing GF agency, but because he didn't he was deliberately letting her fail just so he could be right. GF may be a wonderful person, but it doesn't sound to me like they are compatible.

    S1. Both twins suck. If sister had not tried to impersonate OP, OP would be the one in jail for theft. OP should have accepted grandma did not want her wearing her wedding dress, and had one made similar to it. She couldn’t accept the No and stole it instead, thinking she could get away with it.
    Sister is asshole only because she locked OP in the basement and tried to impersonate her.
    OP is asshole for theft and for letting her sister take the fall for her instead of coming clean.
    As for OP ‘stealing’ the guy sister liked, that is very untrue. Fiancé had the choice of sisters and chose OP, not sister. No one stole anyone.

  • @animerlon
    @animerlon 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Why is she alone with her twin when other people are already on the way to the venue?
    How did Evil Twin get the dress off her sister without damage to the dress & both of them?
    If ET is still cooling her heels in jail for theft, would the cops really hand over the stolen item & let it be altered?
    I'm willing to suspend disbelief for somethings, but really....
    In what universe is the bride NOT with at least her MoH & even her dad if they are just about to go to the venue? And the dress, don't get me started on the dress. Unless the bride willingly got out of it & handed it over,..... through a locked door?, i don't see that exchange going well. As for what was done to the dress by the bride, she should have known Grandma would make a fuss as soon as she saw it & probably disrupt her walk down the aisle. What a fun thing to plan for your wedding day.
    And the ET sister, if she's so delusional as to think her sister will reappear from the basement & magically be good with how she wants it,... or maybe disappear altogether, she seriously needs in-patient mental health care.
    Very disappointed with the first story. Could you tell? 😏😉

    Story #2 , years back I knew two cousins who were both living with their grandmother , older one had a job that paid pretty good after school and weekends , younger was being supported by grandma out of her pension. Older was able to get upscale clothes, younger had to make do with just ordinary Walmart type clothes, and would " borrow" her cousins . We were hanging at a burger joint one afternoon ( younger cousin as part of the group) , and older came in , very firm walk . She went to the younger who was sitting in a booth , held her in and proceeded to remove every stich of clothing . Shirt , pants , bra , panties, socks , shoes , ear rings . She said " wear your own clothes" picked everything up and walked out , leaving younger to walk home . ( Being somewhat of a gent , I offered her my jean jacket and a ride home , but the walk out and clime up into a jacked-up 4x4 in a short jacket did very little for her dignity)

    OK going overboard with the wedding is a yta move (even though the granny was too rigid) but I'm going to have to go with NTA, it was thanks to that 'stunt' it managed to land the evil twin in jail. Now OP got something to make sure she doesn't put a tow out of line. And get over herself, they may have liked the same guy but in the end it's the guy's choice who he likes. I'm curious if OP actually liked the dude or just wanted him because her twin liked him. She seems to think she's entitled to take whatever she wants from people, no matter how important it is to that person. It's only fitting that karma sends someone to "steal her man" lol. I almost wish it worked.

    Second story: I had a similar situation. The stepsister kept stealing everything from me, I eventually convinced My mom that I can move to a separate room, but that didn't stop it. I Even tried recording her in secret because her dad didn't believe me. She found My phone and deleted The video before I could see it. It got so bad I got a padlock on My bedroom door, and whenever she was around, staid in My room. She still stole anything she found in The laundry or drying, so I started keeping everything inside My room and doing My own laundry when she wasnt there.
    Back when we shared a room, I couldnt sleep. She stole at night usually, so I used string to tie My closet doors shut, but she cut through it and applied new one (tecnique of tying was different so thats how I knew), so I stayed up as long as I could. My school success suffered, i was constantly sick due to The stress, and My mental health dropped Even More.
    Im so Happy mom broke up with The man. He was a nice person, but because he didn't want to "rock The boat", he let it continue for so long.

    But if twin marries the bf, the certificate has the Brides name on it. If twin signs her name, certificate is void. If twin signs ops name, twin isn't married to bf.

    Gf didn't seem to care, she wanted to do it all.. Not 100% her fault but there's a lack of communication... Maybe rethink this relationship

    2nd story. OP should have let step sis leave, given it 15 mins, then show up at the restaurant with a change of clothes, and demand she change there and then!

    Listen op was shady for stealing a dress and altering. But her sister literally kidnapped her, stole her identity and could have committed sexual assault on the fiancé if op hadn't escaped. Yeah op was mean but her sister kidnapped her own sister. HER OWN SISTER?!? like imagine what she could do to a random woman

    I'm curious who types up the subtitles in these stories. Some of them are so silly when it's clearly not what the story says LOL.

    Is your gf always this way?: inconsiderate, thoughtless, poor planner?
    You shouldn’t have yelled at her.
    If you knew a late check in wasn’t possible, why didn’t you book a hotel at 11:30?
    I think you may want to reconsider the relationship if this is usual behavior for her.

    1st story, whole family is awful. Twin 1 shouldn't have stole the dress, twin 2 is psychotic and granny is so obsessed with a dress that she wouldn't let her own daughter or granddaughter wear it. Is she planning on being buried in it?

    Story 1: OP and her sister are both AH. OP for stealing the dress, sister for obvious reasons. OPs husband should have run for the hills when he realized his future wife was willing to steal from her grandmother because she wanted a specific dress and was not allowed to use it.

    The girlfriend was responsible not the op and it sounds to me you people don’t take responsibility for nothing
