Spectacular Postojna Caves (Postojnska Jama) - Slovenia Travel 4K

- This subterranean world of the Postojna Caves (Postojnska Jama) has amazed visitors for over 200 years with its jaw-dropping chambers and passageways - captured on a Sony FX30. We ride a train about 1.5 KM underground to where we explore another 1.5 KM on foot, and then ride the train back out. We have been in a few caves before, but this is our best cave experience with many of jaw-dropping moments. See links below for other fabulous sights in Slovenia and Croatia.
Video was captured in May 2023 on a Sony FX30 camera, S-Cinetone (with Color Phase +2 for more natural look), with a Sony E 15mm F1.4 G lens.

So amazing that people have enjoyed this for over 200 years. Impressive it is big enough for the train. I'm not claustrophobic but when I get in a cave that would be comforting. I love that they have a train going through these caves. I have never been to caves that had any type of transportation inside. I would love to attend an orchestra performance in these caves. I imagine the acoustics are amazing. We love visiting caves and seeing all the rock formations. It is so beautiful down there. We haven't visited any caves in years though. Your video has made me want to go back to visit some. Thanks for taking us along to the Postojna Caves!

I thought I watched this and left a comment but YT seems to disagree. I've been to a lot of caves but this one might beat them all. Not only is the cave very impressive but your low light footage is, too, Jim! The Sony's APS-C did a remarkable job.

Awww, my home country! Postojna cave is gorgeous. Despite it is touristy place, I am always amazed by the beauty of underground world. BTW, if you happen to be in Slovenia in Christmas time, they have nativity scenes in the cave. It is really cool event with festive lights and music that show cave in a bit different light. :=) Great video! Cheers, Urska
