    it's crazy how I learned and then improve my workflow on Lightroom almost 10years ago with your videos and now I'm here again for luminar.
    I think you are really a super good teacher, I love your videos and your way of explaining and even talk is super.
    Thanks man!

    This is exactly the kind of video that I needed to see. I've had Luminar AI since it was introduced, but have found the wide range of options impossible to get my head wrapped around. I finally feel like I could actually use this to process my images. Thank you!

    Thanks for this video, and all of your videos. I'm about to start playing with Neo for the first time. I'd love to see a video on how you handle the workflow of using it as a plugin for Lightroom Classic.

    I agree with Charles: Luminar continue to increase the program, that's hopeful for the future to stop the war in Ukraine - I appreciate your tutorials, your way of teaching and the rhythm during the explanations - and yes, continue to instruct us like other photographers.

    I have learned a lot from your videos. I just downloaded luminar neo today and I really like it. I have used photoshop a bit but for a amateur like myself I find luminar pretty easy to use.

    I`m thinking to buy Luminar before i do i downloaded the trail version and watched your video.
    I have a problem because what you show in your video is not what i get.
    My problem is there where you show develop RAW you get options to click on and say this is from your camera.
    I don`t get these options for me it only says there add custom DCP and add DCP from DNG
    my camera is a Nikon D500 and my file is a NEF file.
    Is there anything i do wrong ? Or does the trail version not support my NEF file ?
    Hope you can shed some light on it before i buy the software

    Great as always!!!
    Which workflow could you auggest of one uses Luminar as a standalone.
    That is for Import of card, file strucure/management, culling etc
    If one goes without lightroom

    Hi Anthony, you always have good stuff ... thanks for your posts.
    QUESTION: Is it possible to do a "Flambient" equivalent with Luminar Neo instead of having to go the LIghtRoom-PhotoShop or CaptureOne Pro-Affinity Photo route?
    Thank you, sir, in advance.

    Hi, Anthony Morganti, Love you man and for the yeoman service and helping the beginners like me with your guidance.
    Love this clip helping us, better our editing knowledge.
    I have a doubt regarding sending back the edited images from luminar neo to Lightroom 6. I don't see any 'apply button' and it's frustrating that every time I have to export the edited image via file menu to my hard drive and then re-import into lightroom library.
    My query to luminar custom service has not produced any fruitful solutions.
    I thought of you and I am sure you can help me solve this problem.
    How to save the edited images and send back to lightroom?
    Thanks in advance.
    Micks.

    Wonderful Tutorial....love your presentation...I do think you can add a masking and layers tutorial...not happy with most other folks...Nix moves too fast and gets a bit herkie jerky...hard to follow at times...would love to see you produce a step by step with Neo...and charge a fee...I'll be the first to buy!

    Luminar has come a long way in a short time. Suggestion: You may want to cover the sky replacement tool - that seems to be popular.

    Anthony- Great video, you pointed out some features that I could not figure out. There are a lot of photographers such as myself that only shoot JPEG, so you might want to have a video on adjusting those. Another idea, might be to show editing specific type of photos, such as Flowers, Animals (Zoo's), etc. Thanks, Bob

    • @SimonNemeth
      @SimonNemeth 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If your camera can shoot RAW, then there's literally no reason not to. All your doing is throwing away data that is potentially important to your edit.

    • @Bob71650
      @Bob71650 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SimonNemeth Get it right in camera (As I was taught), and then there is no need for all that editing. Besides, there are a lot of people that just don't want to spend all that time editing.

    • @SimonNemeth
      @SimonNemeth 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Bob71650 You know there is no such thing as 'right in camera' as you put it? Not even back in the day when we used to shoot to 35mm because there was always processing in the dark room. It was naturally very manual. When shooting to JPEG your camera literally processes the image for you on the fly to its own estimation of perfect as per algorithms provided by the manufacturer. Only RAW is completely unprocessed. By processing the RAW images our selves we just do it all manually and can almost always achieve significantly better results than the camera produces using its own algorithms. You have no reason at all not to try it if you value your work.

    Hi Anthony, regarding colours and saturation, if I put it totally into the black & white left adjustment with a black and white photo, will it be filled with colours when the saturation slider is turned to the full right please?

    Anthony - I have been watching your presentations for years now, and I think you are fantastic! I have been using Lightroom and send files to Luminar for the last year or so. I find myself leaning towards Luminar more everyday as my go to and not Lightroom. But I haven't figured out how to save my new photos from my disc to Luminar. While the disc is in the computer, I can edit etc. But when I remove the disc, the photos go with it. How can I create a folder on my hard drive to save the images? Many thanks for your teaching through the years. David

    Hi...this was interesting. My interest is in digitizing old slides, and I want to be able to restore the original color. As far as I know, only the Epson scanners have decent color (not photo) restoration, built into the scanning process. But it is very time consuming to use their scanner (4 slides at a time). Other methods of digitizing are faster but you get the colors that are now on the slides. So my question is whether Luminar Neo has an easy way to do color restoration that is anywhere close to as good as Epson. Thanks.

    As amazingly powerful and potentially time saving that the Masking feature is, NEO still needs another tool like Clone. Why? Because when AI Masking is used, it often leaves gaps between the target area and the surrounding part of the image (go to the 16 minute mark of this video). These halos or gaps need to be removed. Is there any tool other than Clone that can clean up these problem areas? Anthony, can you please address this issue which I see as a current shortfall in NEO?
