You can just see the father and son chemistry, papa pickle is definitely enjoying this with his son. Its my new favorite series.
I lost my dad a few years ago. This just reminds me of working with my dad on our 80. I love this.
As someone who grew up on a farm and didnt stick around because my old man and I just can't agree on ANYTHING in this life. It's refreshing to see this. I love that your dad would be engaged in something that you enjoy. The amount of respect he has for you is so great to see. This is really cool!

I remember when I was younger. me and my Father were hauling 1 axle trailer full wood,way too big for the tractor the little MTZ 52. Driving through forest roads and at the intersection where the fores road ends was a hill not that steep, we where comming up it and as soon as the trailers wheels hit top of the little hill it liftet the front of the tractor and we hit a wheele. The road was not that wide so we where running out of space to go forward, but with my Fathers amazing driving skills he managed to gain control we had alot of laughs while going home. P.S. Sorry for mistakes not a native speaker
Found my newest background show to watch while doing my own daily running around. Papa and Pickle, you guys are helping me learn about a lot of farming information. This is so relaxing to watch and listen to, I live in South Dakota and grew up on a hobby farm raising horses, chickens, a few cattle, and some hogs. We knew a lot of farmers that my parents and I would help out throughout the year and they would help us out in return by providing some hay and corn for the animals. You and your dad have a great relationship, thank you for sharing it with us all to enjoy :)

You can lease the equipment that you can't afford to buy, your bigger stuff like harvesters. It could be the difference of leasing for 20k versus buying it for 380k. FS22 allows you to do jobs for other farmers as well for added income.

Yep nobody actually realizes exactly how big 40 acres is. I grew up on a 5 acre plot in the country. My sandbox as a kid was the back 2 acres.
i grew up on 40 arces and its so interesting because i find it so small but to others its massive

FYI, to answer som questions you can hit control G i think to switch from driver to passenger, map is taget on county 4x and beacons are default button home

Problem with a side console is not making it work with farming simulator. Problem is to get a console to work on :)
If you get hold of one you just have to read in abit on Arduino and get a microcard that can emulate a keyboard or better a joystick.
I did a similar project with some joysticks from a real forestry machine to control my in game vehicles.
I used a microcard called Arduino Leonardo. (Many years ago so might be better options now.) It has analog inputs since all the potentiometers on the stick where analog I needed to convert them into digital with the Arduino. Its configured to show up on my PC as a plug and play joystick now.

I just started this map since seeing this playthrough and yall looking at the properties. there are so many mods you need to add in, maybe thats where the buildings in the flat spot are @ 22:06 ?
