Using the Krone BigM with Hitch and PTO to Bale and the Quickbale Mod from Modhub allows you to Mow and Bale without stopping. The Quickbale Mod includes 2 Balers The Regular Quickbale is a bit slower but the Quick Quickbale allows you to be a bit faster
Someone with brains 😂😂 nah tbf I found the quickbale by accident and when I realised that it doesn’t stop picking up the grass i hired the ai so danm fast 😂😂
@@Wimpiedoodle 1 hectare is 10,000sqm 1 acre is 4046sqm 2.47 acres per hectare So if you’re rounding up in farm sim for a rough idea of conversion, it’s near enough 2.5 for quick math.
I recommend using the bale fork front attachment for the tractor, not only for carrying 26 instead of 24 bales (10% more) , but also, sometimes you end up with 25 and you need to make a long trip for only 1 remaining bale. Also the worst time waste is waiting for the bale to come out of the machine, you can see it on the timelapse, easy 30% of the time is waiting. My choice would be the fast bailer mod or the more realistic square bail + wraper; even the trailer + bunker silo.
I commend you Jake for actually taking the time to study this with some techniques that some might call science, then editing and uploading it for all us to see how it went. I use the Krone with the fastbale on my serious silage maps. Not necessarily because I think it’s the best way, but it works with the base game AI, I pick them up with a JCB 4220 and an auto stacker. I used to use that tractor one of the modded square baler with an offset 3 point hitch on the back of it, with a wrapper right on the baler, but sometimes the worker would struggle to turn that around even with 40 acres and a mule. So I kept the 4420 and got the krone with a pto with a the fastbale baler, seems like improved base game for me. But I’m not going to tell anyone how to play their game, just what works for me. The quickbale doesn’t have to stop when baling, works with the worker, ferments faster, and the krone doesn’t need babysitting on square fields with adequate headlands. And I follow behind with a fastrac picking up the bales and putting them in storage. Like your videos Jake, wish you and your dad the best. ✌️
swather pack is the best mower! you can also make hay with it and also very fun to play with you can also put swath on top of the other and you dont need to even use windrower.
I can't remember how many liters are in the normal large bales, but the largest bales with that silver baler are 22,500 liters. If you get one of the modded auto load trailers, it will save a lot of time since you'll be picking up much less bales. That also allows you to put more liters in the bale shed, since you could do 250 bales at 22,500 per bale.
The Krone mower with hitch works best with a square baler w/ hitch and wrapper combo. Then it NEVER has to stop unless you get hung up on something. Of course, that requires a different autoload trailer which (if using the base game ones) only does 14 at a time...
I'm currently baling grass for silage in Big Flats Texas, on Console. I'm using the Krone mower , ×2 + 1 Baler Wrapper, and a Windrow . I run the Baler, Actual Idiots handle the rest(with constant supervision). 2hrs my time, 64 50,000 litre bales.
I'll still use my forager combine, because you don't have to worry about stopping, missing, etc, etc. Then just use a bunkersilo or bale the collected grass up
I did this on no mans land. No bunker silo but i dropped all my foraged grass down by the sale point and ripped around at 2-3mph for about 2 hours with a square baler. Good fun, with piles of grass that big you can really get some good air with the pickup too
there is a mod call "Lizard Front Windrower" that allow you to use a bale at the same time you windrow Also there is another one name "Kuhn Silage Pack" that give different setup to windrow/bale/trailer all at once
A more accurate test would be use the same baler for all three mower setups. You had so much extra time on setup three from all the stopping and dumping due to the smaller bale size
How his testing the 3 setups 2 he has used in the series and the one that we all think he should use which is the krone big m and technically the quick baler but he didn’t use that
According to the TH-cam farm fan he says sheep are the best way to make money while also not spending to much money but u can make it into clothes or fabric to make even more money but the sheep alone is a great way to make money Edit: another thing is is that with the big krone mower there is a glitch where I you fold then unfold quickly the mower mows at full speed making it un realistic but ultra fast
I'm more of a fan of cutting the whole thing out as a field so you can put a worker on the mower then following it with a tractor/baler setup. I know you'd take all the stop and go from the AI versus doing it all in one, but in my mind if the AI finishes before I do (which it will) I can put the AI on something else while I finish baling (ex: driving the equipment back to the farm, bringing back the bale loader, etc) which ends up saving time overall.
With a Frontloader and a normal Trailer you can move the Bales much faster, specally on bigger distances With just 2 Welger Trailers, you cvan Move 50 Bales in one go
Not that it going to matter a whole lot, because the smaller setup up is obviously going to take longer. If you did the smaller bale size with the larger set ups, both would have taken a little longer because of stopping to let the bale drop. Still would have ended up with the same type of results. I seen someone use a 2 stage baler in a video, I think it was black heart farms, you don't have to stop to let the bale drop.
Krone Big M with the Fast Baler attached to the back is superior IMO, no stopping to unload the bale. The Fast Baler also allows you to be able to attach a bale trailer to it. Is is realistic, absolutely not....but it is pretty fast.
I don't understand why you don't use the kuhn sb1290 id. sure it makes square bales instead of round bales but you don't have to ever stop. You would have to add the extra step of going around and wrapping all/some of the bales
Hello again Sir Pickle, you just about, but not quite the fast grass/silag harvest your lookin for. Go with the kerin mower and fast bail bailer, that thing is wht it says,, FAST! itll keep up witht he mover for sure! Great luck to ya!
As far as the power of the Krone goes, you're running three mowers, a baler and wrapper all at the same time. That's a lot to handle even for 500 hp. Though it's not very versatile for much of anything else, I would say the Krone with the baler on it is fastest to mow. You're doing it all at once and taking a good, wide cut at the same time. Best setup if all you plan to do is mow.
The modified quick bale. Does like 26mph. Yah it's totally unrealistic. But use it. With the BigM. Double tap the fold button once you start mowing. And bam.. your mowing at 20+ mph.
Why dont you use the "fast bale"? You dont have to stop for each bale, theres a modded version on mod huh which allows u to go as fast as you want and yes the fast bale is a real machine

I think if you used the quick bailer mod you could get it done faster cause you would not have to stop

Probably not the most realistic thing to do, but it's definitely more efficient in game.
When u Press STRG + V you pick up the Front and back with 1 Click u can also STRG + B to Start / End Maschines when u have them in Front and Back

Big fan of the tedder IRL here. Where I am in NC, it’s almost a need to ensure quick and consistent drying.
“no one uses hectares”

What laptop are you using for farming simulator 22
Hes using a PC not a laptop
Still think a 300-350hp tractor, triple mowers, a merger you merge 70'-80' into a windrow and bale it....
42 minutes is my guess for the first setup
krone 155 xc dont need to stop to bale you would cut your time down big time
just use the quick bale mod lmao..
