@@carreraman8364 it does, i have a tuned stage 1 mk7.5 gti aswell and i get about 36-37 mpg with the identical cold side setup, apr ope intake, cts 3.5 inch silicone upper to the turbo inlet upgrade and a resonator delete. before I was getting 34-35 stock, marginal but for me who does 20k a year it adds up. now when I stomp on it the fuel economy is worse with the tune and eats like a v6 does. I have the 7 speed dsg.
@@lunaticleone8534 These cars can take regular, but you still should always use premium due to the direct injection carbon deposits... With premium you do more kilometers than regular, the difference in price compensates with better fuel range, less carbon on the valves and pistons... It's no expensive car also, so do refuel it however you please...

Forgive me for being a rookie but does that create and deferrence in the fuel economy as compared to stock air intake?
I actually believe it makes the fuel economy ever so slightly better

My car is identical to yours. Do you get turbo flutter from that intake?
Not really, you can hear a little under high boost.
I have a cts turbo open intake. I also added a dv spacer to get more turbo flutter
@@BboyMattchuLor you don´t get turbo flutter from the dv spacer. You get a blow-off. To get turbo flutter you need a complete dv-delete.
@@L_Ninot facts. The dv spacer makes CRAZY flutter noises. My car has one.
@@RegDudeMan26 Is the dv spacer worth it, I heard it lessens the throttle response and causes the dv to release randomly?
