Simplest reason is that most businesses need a manager....A degree in Business Management isn't restricted to a few outlets but pretty much ANYWHERE you end up you can move up the chain.
I'm a 4th year high school student who is very passionate about business because I like the Idea of building my own income not just the good old "depends on how much a company would give" and I find this very encouraging and helps me lean more towards entrepreneurship.
I’ll graduate in the next year in business and I’m really glad I’ve chose this path. I share the some ideia of her. Business gives us many opportunities in life and we have to be smart and choose the barest chances. Management has given me the chance to work in a multinational company in a quality department even before getting a degree. I definitely recommend it to every young people who wants to get money in short term period.
Business: (Marketing, Sales, Enterprise) is more of Practical than theoretical. If two persons go compete to become a consultant to a business, mostly they’ll be extremely happy to see a person that got tons of experience & skills than a college degree with no real experience and they’ll most likely to choose the person with experiences & skills over the one with the degree.
Isn’t supposed to be “two people” not “two persons”? Also, why not have the degree AND the experience? People are allowed to work and go to school so why not make it work and do both, that way by the time you’re finished with your degree you have experience and the degree and they’ll have no choice but to pick you bc you have the whole package!

Do you think economics is a better degree for entrepreneurship? how about joint business and maths degree? or accounting/finance degree?
You want to own an e-commerce brand, you should major in business with a focus on Marketing or Advertising. Or specifically major in Advertising/Marketing.
You could also do a course on entrepreneurship. Might be helpful. Business degrees give you a holistic learning of the market. Entreprenuership course a lot of time include starting a business and working on it. SO you wont have to worry about theory is fine, what about practical knowledge. Do internships in different fields to explore your choices. I would recommend working in a start up as it instils various life skills, language and ofc the experience.

You can do managerial/executive jobs with business degree.
Meanwhile, I'm trying to start an online business after I graduate in business administration with a concentration in international business... Idk if it's the right choice. I just signed up so I'm still researching if I should change my major.
I am coming to the end of my business management degree with accounting and I must say, I think your knowledge on the amount of work that is required seems somewhat limited. I say this because I have studied this degree for the last six years and the work I would not say was Breas able. I have worked flat out from 2016 to where I will graduate in 2023, because I had to defer. I have even worked over Christmas and holidays, having two to three months break within these six years. However, I am looking at a first in this subject.
It depends on your specialization. If you are doing marketing then you have to make a whole new brand or re-brand a company. Maybe you have to make a campaign for famous brand or public service. Or you have to analyze consumer behavior and do market research.
A manager is more of a position than a specific job! You can become a manager in any industry you go into, all you have to do is stay in the role for a few years until you get promoted 😊
@@coffee4085 @pokeme in my opinion. I don't think you do, because there are many different branches and specialisations in business. For example, marketing, finance, economics, management, international business accounting and many many many more. You would have to be very very good in math if you specialise in accounting and finance. You would definitely need math too for the other departments of course. However, its not as crucial.
I’m really confused in choosing the best business degree when it comes to having a business or a company of my own. I want to lead and earn money so that I can help many people in the near future. I am a creative person. Sometimes I am good in adjusting with people. I’m not really more into logistics and analyzation. I want to love math and numbers even more, especially now that I am taking a one year break before taking up college. Can I have an advice?
Do you have any idea on what industry your business is going to be? (e.g fnb, fashion, etc) If you already have an idea, then I suggest you study something that is actually related to that field instead of Business. I'm a business student myself and most of the time, what I've learned is that with business major it's more about being active in different organizations and engage with a lot of people so that you can build your network and eventually able to create a business. If you're more of an introvert person, then I suggest you chose a more technical route in creating business! This is just my opinion, and I think when choosing a business school you have to be careful in choosing the uni because regardless of what you think, famous universities would probably guarantee more successful job applications in the future because in business, it's all about the connections! (Unless you have an unfair advantage which are different for everyone then of course this advice might not be that useful) Tbh I chose business school because I got a scholarship and I think if you work hard on whatever you major in, you'll have a fair chance of being successful as long as you want to work hard for it, wishing you all the best!
You don’t really need a business degree to become an Entrepreneur, maybe study Economics & Finance it’ll be better as it’s the second most studied degrees by Billionaires apart from Engineering. Mainly Develop High Income & Demand Skills that the market values and charge them to add that value.
@@jessicaputri2002 i also wanna do business studies.can you please recommend me some undergraduate college for it ? And in which country i should apply for my ug business studies??

You want to own an e-commerce brand, you should major in business with a focus on Marketing or Advertising. Or specifically major in Advertising/Marketing.
You could also do a course on entrepreneurship. Might be helpful. Business degrees give you a holistic learning of the market. Entreprenuership course a lot of time include starting a business and working on it. SO you wont have to worry about theory is fine, what about practical knowledge. Do internships in different fields to explore your choices. I would recommend working in a start up as it instils various life skills, language and ofc the experience.

Love all your videos! Wanted to ask is Imperial College London (Imperial college Business school) is a target Uni for MBB or Big4 after MSc Management?
I’m a first year student doing business management. I did a diploma in Real Estate Management before. I love both fields. Please advise on what career path I could follow? Having this too different fields.
Wow Real Estate have huge connection to Finance. In business management, you should specialize in finance. Real-Estate Investing is huge thing..
I really want to get a degree in Business Management as you say it’s broad and useful and the right thing is I’m not sure about my future. But I’m still confused should I study or not. I’m worried that what if I lost my interest in the middle.
I have passion in drawing, writhing, drawing logo design and computing.
I still don’t know what degree should I take
Pls suggest me some.
I rlly appreciate you videos.
That's great that you have passion in creative field and management also requires creative minds , I hope you choose what you want to do. Best of luck for future

After doing MSC (international buiness management ) from university of UK , there will be good job opportunities after the course or there will be difficulties to get the job ?
Typically with business you don’t make thousands of dollars straight out cause it’s really about the experience so once you have the experience and the degree you’re pretty much set lol
But Business is the most highest paying degree....
i felt so attacked by the lack of presentation.. im so scared i have social anxiety but ill take business course😭😭 i guess this degree will help me overcome it
😭😭😭
IT DOES BRO!!! This thing is the most scariest thing in business! B-school is not easy, at all! But it boost up your knowledge and skills and tbh you will be just fine after 2-3 semesters, you will overcome social anxiety or at least become good at presentation skills.
I'm getting mine in 5 months or so. Six years background in intelligence and I am still looking up which path to take..
When you say light workload, I was like 💡 :0

If a student joins the accounting market after doing a master's for an entry-level job, will he be considered overqualified for entry-level jobs since they are usually for bachelor's ( undergraduate) students?
No, usually masters graduates also apply to entry-level jobs unless they already have a few years of work experience
is a business management degree too broad? should i major in finance instead?
I have a question, im from portugal so, the Business Management degre allow you to be a CEO right? With this degree you can run a company? Thank you

@@persian2452 this is many people misconception that business degree is for starting business... it's totally wrong! Yes business degree gives you knowledge of starting your own thing but it also gives you leadership and managerial skills to get hired as a Manager. You can do managerial/executive jobs with business degree.
I honestly don't know what major should I take but I got scholarship for business management. So I guess I will take this major???
If you are interested then you should definitely

It's an amazing major don't change it stick to it. You will not regret your choice.
Can you do economics, global perspectives and ict? I'm confusedddd
Is the workload so heavy for that degree?
would Business Administration be good with a minor in CS or what would you recommend
do you have to know advanced math for a business degree ?
not necessarily, depends on the modules you choose and the area you want to specialise in!
business administration??

Can you do something with nutrition and health with a business degree ?
You can become a healthcare manager for a hospital or a nutrition clinic/company.
I know this is off topic, but she looks like an ai. You can't help but be impressed by her visuals, to be honest
Thank you so much hahaha
Can you explain about fyp in business? What we need to prepare? Thanks. 👍
It depends on your specialization. If you are doing marketing then you have to make a whole new brand or re-brand a company. Maybe you have to make a campaign for famous brand or public service. Or you have to analyze consumer behavior and do market research.
Thanks!
I need help I wanna become a manager but don’t know what to major in 😭😭😭help
I just switched from accounting to business management. Maybe you could either do business management or business administration
A manager is more of a position than a specific job! You can become a manager in any industry you go into, all you have to do is stay in the role for a few years until you get promoted 😊
You can become manager with any business degree either HR, Marketing or Finance etc.
thankyou for your your knowledge dear, im proud freshman BSBA student, and I love marketing and sales
Hello is business administration a good degree? in future 10 yrs from now? 😅
It really depends on what you want to do and how you use your degree
Do you need to be really good in Math to study Business?
Yes!! you need to be pretty good at maths especially calculus
@@coffee4085 no u dont
@@wibblemibabycan I ask if u study business management degree do u need to be good at maths?
(Unless you have an unfair advantage which are different for everyone then of course this advice might not be that useful)
Tbh I chose business school because I got a scholarship and I think if you work hard on whatever you major in, you'll have a fair chance of being successful as long as you want to work hard for it, wishing you all the best!
Marketing would be best! It teaches you about building you own brand, launch new products after innovating them and yeah it doesn't have that much math or number thing.
@@nycto16 hello!! can you please tell me more about marketing? i have social anxiety and i heard that it needs a lot of public speaking...so now im stuck between management and marketing :(

Thank you for making this video !! I would like to know if I could get a MSc degree in accounting and finance with a BA hons business management degree. 🙂
Yess of course you can!
What would you say is the strongest difference between a business degree and an industrial engineering degree?
both are different. Engineering is about manufacturing Business is about managing and decision making. It depends on you, for me business is the best thing to study because engineers are labors lmao they work physically whole day and earn very less. On the other hand Managers do research and analysis, take decisions and earns the most!
wow nice CRISP content
