  • We are often asked how our ECU flash and custom mapping can possibly be so much better than what other tuners and shops out there offer, and we decided to put this IN DEPTH answer together for you guys to watch. It is NOT a quick video, but it IS as much information as I can possibly share about our tuning process when building custom mapping for our ECU Flashing Service AND what sets us apart from our competitors!

I sent my ecu in months ago (2016 zx10r) had been already flashed by (xplaneR1) words can't describe how bad that bike rode couldn't full throttle shift at all, had no autoblip and choppy on & off throttle... the flash from 2 wheel is night and day. make the correct choice and send it here.

A few things that I have noticed with the quality of a 2WheelDynoWorks flash is; it’s crafted by a team that proves and checks all aspects of the tunes built at an actual circuit racetrack. Some tuners work off of drag strip experience, some tuners are selling canned flashes. What the depth of circuit track experience brings is smoothness. To ride fast at the track you gotta be smooth, linear, and strong. Not only realize maximum power potential, but beautiful smoothness. This allows the end rider like me, to use the power more, and with much greater confidence. I think what more riders out there in TH-cam land need to be clear about, is that you are not providing unrideable beasts, only to give some peak hp number, you are delivering a velvet hammer. All backed up by data logging, by dyno numbers, and by track experience hours numbering in the tens of thousands, across all platforms. With a tune for any motorcycle, todays options are wide, but of unknown level, with a 2WheelDynoWorks flash, we can relax knowing we are getting the best tune for the reliable performance of our machines, backed up by expert follow on support. Kudos gentlemen, I recommend you guys to everyone I meet on a bike!

I have a question, what about the air difference. Air quality and elevation is different here in Chicago then where your dyno is. And every bike comes from the factory different ever so slightly. Take 2 new bikes, put them on the dyno, numbers will be off, even if slightly. How do you compensate for all these differences?

I took my 2011 GSXR 750 ( 2 hour drive) to Chris Moore and was able to get 140.53 Hp at the rear wheel on pump gas as KWS already did a tune and left it rich as it was only 133 hp on the initial pull. It did have a AMA/WERA legal supersport head KWS did on it that is probably worth 4-5 horsepower. This is all Chris does is dyno tunes so he knows what he is doing. This guy on the video seems like he knows his stuff as well. Take the bike to the tuner Chris or this guy instead of getting a mail in flash.

Anybody have a 2017-2024 GSX R1000R that they had re flashed using this guy? Because I used another very popular company who re flashed my ECU for just street use, with a full exhaust system, and restrictions unlocked, and it’s terrible. Bike runs extremely rich. To the point it dies, like it’s flooding when the revs go back down, and it reeks of fuel. Only get 60 to 80 miles per tank. I know full systems use more fuel, but come on. I can barely ride with anyone anymore because I have to stay close to a get station. And I haven’t been riding it lately because it just sucks. And I don’t want to contaminate the oil with gas. It’s just terrible. Anybody have any suggestions? Thinking about sending my ECU to this guy.

I’ve listened to you talk about the various full exhausts and differences they potentially have with a tune; here is my question for clarity: Is the ECU tune offered for a 2024 GSX 8R, with a full Spark exhaust, going to be the same tune with a full M4 exhaust, or are there actually different tunes depending on exhaust types? If you have addressed this previously I apologize.

I bought your ecu flash for a 2009 zx6 r last year. And let me tell you guys it changed the way my bike felt completely. It has more power, it pops on up shifts and sounds like a machine gun on deceleration and shoots proper flames. The power band is smooth and properly strong all throughout the rev range . I now describe my bike as the beast now after its flash. You sir are a very competent tuner and truly believe you are up there with the best. If anyone is on the fence get your bike flashed you won’t regret it.

Yes, i do agree with your statement at 7mins about 100% full throttle demand.
Now this is going to show my age. Im referencing the historical carburettors( SU, Webber, Deluto, Holy) that had a cable and acleraterter pump jet circut that when the throttle demand was rapidly opened with insufficient rpm and air flow. The power train would just bog down.
So the same can happen with electronic over ride maps. Just fully open and dump in that waste of fuel. Totally agree.

Sorry if I have more than one question.
    1. Do bikes have a "Commanded AFR" from factory? Like most cars, the ECU will always "target" a specific AFR all throughout the RPM range.
    2. If new bikes have their own "Commanded AFR", is it really 14.7:1 (stoich) or is it richer or leaner? I know all bikes are different from factory but in your experience, what is the "common" factory AFR of new bikes?
    3. If there is a Commanded AFR, so why does the AFR curve fluctuates on the dyno? I am under the impression that the ECU will try it's best to always "hit" the proper fuelling and ignition to make sure that the Commanded AFR is met.
    4. Without changing any hardware of the bike, stock everything, do you think a comprehensive ECU tuning on the dyno will make at least 6-10% improvement in the power throughout the power curve?
    Thanks and more power.

Frustrates the mess out of me to read this comment a million times over just about every aftermarket exhaust video featured online: "Does this X brand exhaust require a tune, or can it run without?" 🤦‍♂*smack smack smack
What do people think a modern FI engine is? A coal burning steamer?
And on the other side, it's also extremely frustrating for muppets out there who spread the gospel of "manufacturers know a thousand times better than any tuner about how to set up a bike/car/truck, so quit messing with them, leave them stock!!"

  • @ManCannotRide
    @ManCannotRide ปีที่แล้ว

    Another question about AFR.
So it is not really good to just set a specific AFR throughout the RPM range? I have seen dyno tuners do this in their videos, setting the AFR to a specific value and the final tune showing that such AFR is being targetted from idle all the way to WOT.
So, in general, what should be the AFR curve for idle, for partial, for mid rpm and for WOT?

cant imagine how some one can ask that..... just tell em that tuning software is like a cd player and the tune itself is the cd, so all the tuners might have the same cd player, but they all have their own flavor of tuning in form of cd's. SO how tuners make their cd'ssss.?? well that comes with experience and a lot of it. i know this market is like tuners have one tune and they just connect ecu copy paste and charge hefty money. almost free money for them, specially the mail in tunes. Now there are tuners that put in work, like 2wdw, all the videos of him i have seen, it looks and feels like this guy knows what he is doing. i live in a different country but if i ever come to usa and buy a bike, i;ll surely go to him.
i recently saw a video of some guy tuning his bike at Moore mafia and they were talking about the fuel decel cut and as far as i understand, he gave him a choice, either keep the fuel decel or uncheck it, he didnt say he will tune it to make it work with the braking and the smooth blipper. i think that was zx10rr bike in a very recent video.
Happy to know that you fix that in ur tunings. thats what i meant when i said this guy knows what he is doing.

Wow, I wish I could find a tuner like you here in Sydney, Australia. I have a deeper understanding of tuning than the average guy due to my Study many years ago, but I just get spoken to like I'm a complete dummy. I have a project going where I will be putting the latest model Triumph765 engine into my Daytona frame for BEARS racing, as I have destroyed the 675 engine in that bike. I will be hooking Gen 3 headers up to my under seat exhaust. The guy who tuned both my Daytona's did an excellent job, as they were well tuned at all throttle points and fast and smooth to race. Unfortunately he isn't around anymore and I have to take it somewhere else. I will use a Rapid Bike Racing Module & wiring harness to tune the engine. Again I want very smooth on and off throttle application, not necessarily maximum power at all points. it needs to be ridable in all parts of the track, especially picking up the throttle at the apex and rolling the power on when I'm over on the edge of the tyre. I would drive a whole day to get my bike tuned by someone like you.

He doesn't much care about part throttle precision and RBW mapping and blipper functions and ignition cures for a specific set of bolt-ons, or anything that takes a massive about of time away from his core business model, potentially. That's not dissing him, he understands a lot, but it's not the same.
