music like this is very dangerous. makes people think they can take on stupid jobs and somehow come out on top. when really it's just gonna end up as a heroic last stand haha.
the climbing and raising tone in the orchestra build-up is just pilling on top of each other!!! and then when the time come.... drop! now that's special.
Unfortunately I still like the OST more then the orchestral version, since the mix is pretty mediocre throughout. Unsung War is butchered due to in the Choir getting the short end of the stick. Daredevil is fine, but man I wish I had been in the room to here the whole thing more clearly
Ace Combat has some of the best music in video gaming, but the ones where the guitar has the lead are some of the _best._ Even those from Assault Horizon, as unpopular as that may sound.
That guitarist with the red guitar is amazing and has played for many other artist including Yoko Kanno and Mayn, also Daredevil is in my opinion one of the best songs ever created.

I love the howl at 5:54. I like this live version better than the one in the OST, the soloist voice is clearer.

@@doel89 She couldn't hold the high notes long enough, which is why it sounds weird when she tries to compensate by switching to a lower pitch.

Sure Assault Horizon left a lot to be desired. But that doesn't impact the music. Especially in the end game missions. They had some real bangers.
The AH soundtrack absolutely slaps, despite the game being kind of garbage as an AC game.
