I love how Daredevil seems custom made for the mission and VERY relevant to the story. I love the usage of mechanical rhythms representing the AI and the Human vocals representing human's defiance. It starts out purely mechanical, electronic, and menacing setting the rhythm of the piece. In the mission, that's where everyone starts fighting and facing the challenging AI drones and where the Arsenal Bird brings out despair by taking out the fleet one by one and every one is at a loss of what to do. Then comes in the vocal at 1:38, the first HUMAN aspect of this piece. The vocals are now the centerpiece with the mechanical undertones still in the background. That's precisely around the point where the player (you) and the other characters start to get the hang of fighting drones and start taking them out one by one. This may sound cheesy but it reflects that hope is not lost and humans are still fighting back. Drones are still difficult opponents but are not impossible to take out. 2:25 starts intensifying and starts around the part where every one is trying to figure out how to deal with the arsenal bird. Both the pilots in the air and the humans in the ground trying to figure out Arsenal Bird's weakness. This is the build up to the climax and we start hearing the clashes between the mechanical and human tones, precisely around 2:55 we hear more of the vocals intensifying and its back and forth between the mechanical beat. 3:08 is the peak of the clash between the mechanical undertones and human vocals but somehow still retaining the rhythmic progression. 3:16 comes in every one's favorite part, where ALL PLAYERS feel badass at this moment. After a slight pause, this part is where HUMAN vocals come in hard and DOMINANT and you barely hear the mechanical undertones. In the mission, this is the part where Arsenal Bird's annoying shields are dealt with and signals the start of the counter-attack. Again, it sounds cheesy but this part is a pretty straightforward representation of Humanity's defiance against the AI. This is basically a masterpiece and captures the essence of Ace Combat games every fan fell in love with. After a long dry spell of no game releases and a disappointing Game called Assault Horizon, the devs finally brought back the magical moment common in ace combat games where the player simply felt like he was the pivot toward changing history at that very moment. The moment he believed he was fighting for something. The moment he simply felt badass.

I knew it was only a matter of time, and I was certainly not disappointed. Daredevil was damn near perfect as it was, but you've managed to improve perfection, just like you've done many times before. Project Aces needs you on their music team for whenever AC8 gets started.
It was suble at first, but as the song goes on, it picks up and you can hear the changes more and more. which lets be honest, just fits the build up of the song so well.

You my friend have earned a subscriber. I was scrolling through ac7 themes and found this. I Was Blown Away This is probably one of the best remixes I’ve ever heard keep it up ❤
I see a lot of people are giving this remix high praise and that's quite alright, but I'm not 100% on board with the mixing. Allow me to explain: Unmanned combat aircraft (AKA Loyal Wingmen) are a large part of what makes Ace Combat 7 what it is. I feel like Daredevil was written to include such a prominent vocal part to make a counterargument against the idea of unmanned warfare. My one true complaint with this mixing is that the added layer of horns, while it sounds great, overpowers the vocals to points where they can't be heard. That being said, please continue to do what you do.
We don't actually know this as the player, but this is that boss music Erusea air force hears when Trigger shows up on radar in their airspace. Just dark souls boss music and famous last words "is that three stripes on that F22".
A bold claim. And I will not claim it is worse. Still, the original was so good that I am not sure this is better. Again, it isn't worse. But there are times when the additions are fighting with the original song's parts. Most notably, the horns that are competing with the main singer's voice in the big reveal in the second half but there are lesser instances too. Perhaps an improvement could be made by adding the "epic," i.e. the new instruments that are adding more volume to the song, by enhancing the accompany rather than quite literally horning in on the main theme. Still, you did a good job at many points, like the beginning where you added those extra vocal elements for instance.
@@LucasRicciottiMusic Glad to hear it, you are doing great enhancements. At worst, I can say that you are overzealous in... well, trying to compete a bit too much with the original piece too much at times. You really do a great job when you are not doing this though. That is my honest opinion. Your Liberation of Gracemaria thing is actually pretty awesome because there ISN'T some major vocal (or really, voice-based) thing to override, and you basically have free reign.
Devil's Advocate here: Everything is incredible but I think you put the additional brass too early in the climax. If you begin a little later (may be around 3:32) the "climb" won't be too drastic.... But everything else is better than I imagine.... Good job.....
