Very nice work that would be brutal if you made a skeletal hand bottle opener. Thanks for sharing your technique with us all godbless and good health.

Weld a 30cm "underarm" to the Hand, bend all strait and the fingers with their nails a bit inward and you got: +5 magical back scraper!!
Great job! It's time i can get to my own forge... darn paperwork-job!

I've done fire pokers with that idea. Also back scratchers that end at the elbow. 😁

@@JaakkoRajala Today i forged my first finger :) Well... kind of :D But my wife was able to recognize it and she is a doctor :D I'm still working on the right bending point. She said, as it is atm it's a kind of athritic disease :P The middle of the bones are bending and not the joints... But i'm working on that :)

@@gelanghaarteweile3048 Great! Have you watched my Skeleton Hand Coat Rack video? I bend the fingers the other way around when they need to work as hooks. With my method the joints are the thickest parts so they are the last to bend, therefore it is important to draw out the material to the appropriate side depending on the wanted outcome. Or you could try doing the middle parts with a guillotine or a rounded hammer to get the thinnest areas centered and not to one side. I've done fingers like that in the past but its a bit more delicate and slower work.

@@JaakkoRajala Aaah! I'll try your suggestion next time i'm in my forge! I was thinking about using a wider/thicker cutting tool and cut a bit deeper and than applying force on the "joints" using pipes or smthg like that :) I'm forging just as a hobby, i never had any profesional teaching. I learn by try and error and YT :D I'm very greatful for any kind of advice!
I'm a profesional metal constructor but i just learned to weld, calculate and build standard items like hand rails, windows and other "normal" stuff :)
But it's just one of my occupations. I'm also a social worker, IT consultant and wildernes instructor... Well my main job is dad and husband i guess... :D So i will never be any kind of competition for you :) Oh btw yes, i have seen all of your videos! I realy hope YT gets you the boost you deserve!
