Young copperhead. Very dangerous. They are very venomous!! Timber rattlers are too. Where you see one there is more. Both love rocks. Exspecially when it’s warm out. Please be careful and aware. Great video. Watching from the beginning

The scary thing about copperheads is that if they are in amongst leaves and whatnot, they are very difficult to see. Even with your brother pointing at it and saying, it's right there! Still didn't see it, but it was all I could think about the rest of the day. I mean, if I can't see them . . .

I have had 2 encounters with copperheads like that.Both times they scared me.I have never saw a pretzel that big.It looked good.

Something I found is the they make different inserts with plastic. They seem to work on rocks

Copperheads can be nasty annoyances. I can't believe that the father wouldn't help you.
Glad that you are in the north now. You are hiking strong and moving along just fine. I hope that your feet are getting better. Welcome to my home state. Do not worry about the rocks, as I told Soap, the rocks end at Katahdin.😬

Hey things are looking up, little waste of time from a copperhead, but got through and should be not so many rocks in this section if I got it right, so a chance to maybe be able to walk somewhat normal and heal a bit before the real rock section tests your patience- please remember to take it all at your very own safe pace- our prayers are with you to enjoy!
