How incredible lucky we are to have the internet that allows us to see and hear this remarkable being who has devoted his life to helping others flourish.
Extraordinary human; Rick so generously offers wisdom and heartfelt care for all us. I will rewatch this as often as needed to remind my brain that this is what we’re about…not just in the new year, but at all times. At the moment, simply filled with gratitude for Rick’s teaching and my access to it online. ❤☮️🌞
So much gold in these hills of Dr. Hanson's teachings, reflections. Truly, I am amazed. Returning to the note taking skills of university days, my pen notes precious points needing to be sewn and nurtured in my one, wild life. Thank you from the bottom of my being.
I recommend to fellow students here, turn on the transcript button, use the pause button to be able to fully capture the words onto your notes in your handwriting. So wonderful to have helpful technology here :)
My every morning meditation. Two things that have helped me enormously: Chanelling my empathy and people pleasing crazy drive towards people i dont know vs those i do who throw my love back at my face. Make baby blankies for goodwill. People have started donating wool when they knew what i did. Like you said, keeping a log or even google calendar of things that would nurture me to keep me healthy, wealthy and wise. When your google calender starts to remind you of these things you actually start to believe someone cares for you...albeit some minor annoyances like procrastination, ....you. you see yourself as someone worthy of love. Hope this helps.😊
I appreciate you very much Dr Hanson, with your gentle voice and wisdom. Thank you. I do wonder if or how the same advice could be given to those who are living in poverty or on the poverty line. Or God forbid, people who are homeless. How to practice feeling safe and resourced? I know there is always room for gratitude, but poverty is the root of so much real negativity.
What thoughtful teachings to focus on as we live the new year. Your teachings including the brain functions are fascinating. Thank-you. Your great intentions shine right through your videos and go straight to the heart. Namaste, Linda
