That and the fact that you can craft without carrying the items with you! They just have to be in a box within your base area. Truly a life saver for real
I haven’t seen many people talk about it but once you spawn in you can turn around and go back down the path your character took to get into the ruins and find treasure chests. One of them even has a chance to spawn as a purple chest
and if you continue further down, there's an egg as well. and another chest if you drop behind the arch where the egg was. then at the beach, a dungeon.
There's also two Lifmunk effigy's to find in the starting ruins: one on the beach behind the ruins and one at the very top of the tower on top of the ruins. You'll probably need a flying mount to get to the one up top as I think you would need a ton of stamina upgrades in order to climb the tower; it's quite tall.
The fact there is a video explicitly showing what to do for the first hour is amaziing. Tips and tricks are nice but a p proper guide is always appreciated. You should consider doing a part 2 for the next few hours.
I managed to get a Daemare fairly early into the game, and made its collar. This allows it to remain out alongside myself and another pal and help with combat. It's so good!
I recommend turning around at the very start and going down the stairs. There are 2 chests and a journal that you can get pretty quick. Just don’t fall if the big ledge.
@@thenoobgamer1896 the chest seem to be a bit random. I have only seen 2 spawn myself but thanks for the heads up. Also there is an egg spawn point on the top of some ruins on your way to the beach/dungeon.
I think a BIG thing for early pals is getting a vyl (butchered the name but they looks like eve) they can be ranched and will poop out pal balls so its basically free blue pal balls so you don't need to waste resources on making the lowest tier ball. Also I made my first base right at the skill fruit tree and I can say I highly don't recommend building on a slanted surface (alot of stuff will not place smoothly due to the intersection with the ground) and be sure to wall in cliff edges (pals have a tendency to somehow end up somewhere down the cliff and will be unable to get back up). I thought being right under the tree would be nice basically having free fruits as they respawned but its not worth the headache pal pathing has in uneven terrain.

I've noticed that wherever there's an egg, there's an effigy somewhere nearby. Also, there's usually an egg nearby the thug bases as well. Also for anyone looking for fast travel points, they will show up on your map once you've got close enough to reveal it on your big map. It will also show on your minimap/compass up top.
If you go the opposite way at the spawn, and go further into the ruins, there's a chest. And a second chest if you go down the stairs even further, in an open area to the right. For me, at least, chests spawned there. Edit: There's also a journal entry back there.

@15:15 slanted roof worked fine for me during my first play through. i have no flat roofs, only slanted, ive put my bed down and slept in it multiple times. either outdated or incorrect information given here
Definitely climb up the mountain that hold the ruins. Chance of eggs to have you ready for incubating. I decided to make my first base IN the ruins, so a trick I found was to build your ranch in front of the second stair case down, have it facing that staircase where the gating is enclosing the walkway best you can, and you immediately are ready for surprise raids as they will preoccupy themselves there on the outside of the ranch, giving you easy shots to take them out. I'll just look for enclosed spots for bases though if these raids keep getting wilder, last I need is something big enough to take down my structures with ease.
GameFreak getting smoked out here 😂 Competition is a good thing because yeah there’s been knockoffs of Pokémon games since the dawn of time…but you got this on Xbox now? Now we’re talking. Maybe this’ll wake them up and see they need to stop milking the franchise and their long term players who have basically lived longer than the IP and innovate. I got 10hr. of playtime, which is basicy nothing - I know. So this video was extremely helpful for me... Please keep this content coming. If you´re ever struggling with the normal T1 spheres, get yourself a ranch and 2-3 Vixy´s and throw them in there. They´ll passively dig up spheres, arrows and gold. I used this myself, and within 1-is. IRL hour, I got abount 400 spheres, and 200 arrows!.
Thank you for taking the time to do this whole thing. It must have been a lot of work. One bit of advice for writing these intros/tips and tricks, is to give all the information about the thing you are introducing up front. You explained crafting tools; but you didn’t explain how they break, or how you need to get a work bench to repair them later. You mentioned fall damage but you didn’t mention how armor and pals later could help with fall damage. You mentioned fast travel, but didn’t go into any detail as to why or how I’d need them. More importantly you went on for a while about pals and how they help you, but didn’t mention insanity, the difference between night and day… and such. The most confusing element of the game in the early start is the pal box and what it can and cannot do- and you didn’t explain any thing about it when first introduced. Not even that once it’s placed you can’t move it again without destroying some of your builds, or that it’s where you may respawn, or things like that. For someone who is just starting out and trying to make sense of things, skipping over details like how you can pull from any storage box when you craft so you don’t have to organize them particularly, or that pals will indiscriminately place resources in the closest box they see, definitely makes the newbie confused later on. Id take a little more time to explain what you’re doing and why with all the end game knowledge you have rather than showing the player what you did, and more so on why. Thanks for your videos! I’m sure a lot of people find them helpful!
You need to get your first base to level 10 to build a second one. You technically can build a house and bed and some things not in your base area. I like to create little hubs near spawn points just for ease of access.
Not sure if you figured it out yet, but the statue is in your technology tree in its own category, specifically the ancient technology part of it. There is not a lot of ancient technology so it looks like there is nothing there but if you scroll down you will see there is stuff just not in a lot mainly you have the statue of power the feed bag and grappling hook and upgrades for them. To get ancient technology points kill or capture a boss. I hope this helped.
I have never been this excited about a ripoff of another franchise before. And I use the term “ripoff” loosely. Because this game looks leagues better than anything from GameFreak recently.
@@izacktemores4938 No, it clearly has a lot of ark aspects, so more ARK (guns, rideable monsters, building, crafting, etc...) Pokemon (catching pals, pal designs do look like pokemon, fighting improves but similar to how pokemon would fight I guess?") Elden ring (No idea, melee combat?, never played it.) Zelda (glider, stanima, and probably more, never played it.)
1st thing ya should do when spawning in the ruins is head backwards down the steps get the two chests that give you free balls for catch your 1st cativa then go to fast travel. Personally I believe its a better start but it dont matter either way.😊
Easily doable at 14. Stack earth pals. Like Pokémon they are all strong and weak vs certain types. Also boss fights are ranged kite and swap your team members till boss dead . Win!
You were absolutely right I kinda forgot about type matchups in this game, after reading your comment I took some ground type pals buffed em up a lil took down the boss in less than 5 minutes. W reply thanks
45:25 That specific tower is actually part of the tutorial section on the right side and i think the last step has u fight the boss inside that tower. One thing that he dident mention was and this may seem obvious to some but still should be mentioned in a beginners guide almost 1h long is that your Pals type should be taken into consideration before u start a big fight. Just like in Pokemon a Fire type is gonna deal more dmg to a Grass type then what a Water type is gonna do for example. In Pokemon there are few situations u would ever use a type that is not very effective but in Palworld they can be used effectivly to not 1-shot a Pal that u may wanna capture that is a lower lvl but your own attacks is a bit slow.
Tips, customize your world settings. Adjust stamina depletion so you can focus on weight. Ore is actually copper. There's tons of these especially in the dryer mountain areas. Areas closer to volcano and higher up mountains in grassy plateau are sulfur. The paldium is very important to have. Do not place boss pals in your base unless they have some type of work skill. Don't quote me on this but some pals may retrieve or produce pal spheres without a machine. Do not make a base with wood for pals that invade with fire skills can burn it down. According to a recent article, yes you can capture syndicate agents. I have one myself.
I thought you had to have a pal to build anything spend like 30 minutes trying to catch one with palspheres I could find. Could have saved the trouble if I’d just watched a how to. lol
Honestly the most goated feature about this game is how it takes resources from your box to, which is so convenient.

I got 10hr. of playtime, which is basicy nothing - I know.
I want this on the Nintendo Switch now
Highly doubt it will happen because of pokemon. Sadly, they currently have no plans to release on switch pr PS
Thank you soo much, i needed this. Not the biggest survival game fan and i really wanted to get into palworld.
If you want a fast ground mount early for travel get a DIREWOLF they are 10 times faster then the boar
Where are they
I found mine on a cliff above the small village but think it was luck more than anything.
Can you make more than 1 base?
yes
You need to get your first base to level 10 to build a second one. You technically can build a house and bed and some things not in your base area. I like to create little hubs near spawn points just for ease of access.
as always another great video... you never fail to prepare me for a new gaming experience... thank you
Hi I have a question how do you get the statue of power as it’s not in my tech tree
It's on the far right of the tech tree unlocked with ancient technology points
This was a GREAT guide for beginners! Thank you!
I have never been this excited about a ripoff of another franchise before.
And I use the term “ripoff” loosely. Because this game looks leagues better than anything from GameFreak recently.
I mean it’s not really a rip off tho .. and this may be an unpopular decision but the Pokémon in this game look better than actual Pokémon
@@BrooklynBornn You’re not gonna hear me arguing against that. The game is beautiful.
@@sacredterrador5611 very very very beautiful
@@BrooklynBornn
Got 2hrs so far and I like the game, but it’s definitely a ARKxPokiemon ripoff.
technically its just legends on steroids
Picking the pal and using him like a flamethrower remainds me of postal with the cat
Holy shit you can capture people this fucking game lmao
Thank you for posting this video. This helped me a lot as I just got this game. :)
This game is ark, zelda, and Pokémon with guns
More like elden ring and Pokémon lol
@@izacktemores4938 No, it clearly has a lot of ark aspects, so more
ARK (guns, rideable monsters, building, crafting, etc...)
Pokemon (catching pals, pal designs do look like pokemon, fighting improves but similar to how pokemon would fight I guess?")
Elden ring (No idea, melee combat?, never played it.)
Zelda (glider, stanima, and probably more, never played it.)
1st thing ya should do when spawning in the ruins is head backwards down the steps get the two chests that give you free balls for catch your 1st cativa then go to fast travel. Personally I believe its a better start but it dont matter either way.😊
Pokemon and ark combined awsome
Thank you for all the information About Palworld game Ultimate experience and I appreciate you a lot as well.
😂I went to the syndicate tower thinking I was ready at level 14. Long story short I'm not going back until I'm level 24
In Pokemon there are few situations u would ever use a type that is not very effective but in Palworld they can be used effectivly to not 1-shot a Pal that u may wanna capture that is a lower lvl but your own attacks is a bit slow.
you should continue this series it was so fun
One of the best guides out there, thank you. 🎉
Thank you very much for this tutorial, i just started with Palworld :)
Totes excited for this! I'm 15 minutes away from the download completing and I can't wait to try it out myself.
Thank you for the early guide. Also thank you for presenting and explaining in a way that's not totally dry and boring lol
Dude. This was awesome. I’m restarting my world now!!! Ok maybe not but def thinking about it.
A very helpful and useful video, thank you so much!
This guide was super informative, thanks and keep up the great work
Thank you for this - I've just dlownloaded it and was wondering where to start. This video is extremely helpful
I thought you had to have a pal to build anything spend like 30 minutes trying to catch one with palspheres I could find. Could have saved the trouble if I’d just watched a how to. lol
Hey just a tip you can move the pal box you just need to disassemble it the option is in the build tab
Sorted comments to new and seen this, Thank you! I placed it far to close to start. Tyvm again :D
Your video is very helpful. Thank you so much. I was so confused on this game. I think I may try and start again.
gREAT VIDEO! i RAN IT IN THE BACKROUND AS i FOLLED you around.
Excellent guide. Glad I watched this while downloading.
Best startup or set up ever appreciate the work 👍🏾👍🏾🔥🔥🔥❤️
Thanks for this amazing guide! I've been enjoying the game but had no idea what I was doing. Now I feel like I'm truly ready to begin properly.
Great video Paradise, full of good information and so well presented as always
Nice, and actual guide, and not just listing mechanics.
Finally I can play "Ark" and my wife likes it to watch 🙏😀 Thx for guide 🥳
