The clothing companies would love it if we would all throw our skinny jeans away and buy what they say is trending now, and then skinny jeans will be back in and everyone will have to go out and buy more!
I'm sticking with my skinny jeans because I look better in them than wide leg jeans, besides that's a lot of fabric to kick around and get tangled up in!😁😁

Yesss! I agree! Skinny jeans are NOT leaving my wardrobe!! They go with so many of my shoes/booties! You have such a cute style! I'm almost 40 so what I use to wear in my 20's most definitely does not work for me now! I appreciate your recommendations and reviews! Super helpful!

Angela I agree, wearing leggings with a short top is not for me either. And I am having a hard time finding long enough shirts to wear with them so I appreciate you putting out a video like that for us 50 and beyond women.
Kena, I purchase "minidresses" which look like tunics. The dress covers hips and thighs. Works for me at a certain age!

I could see a difference between the washes of the two jeans. I liked the first pair of the wild flower jeans. Great choices for fall attire.

Just found your videos yesterday and this is the third one I watched…….first of all , you seem so genuine and I truly do love your style. Looking forward to watching many more! I really had to chuckle, however, because I had just finished watching some other person who told women what not to wear for fall and so much of your choices were exactly on her don’t wear list. For example, skinny jeans with booties and plaid. Of course, she was definitely not my kind of person at all, very fake and shallow. I’m 72, going on 55, but have always loved clothes and want to look nicely put together. I, too, buy certain things at Walmart and Amazon, especially since my favorite store (Steinmart) went out of business. Anyway, I’m happy I found you and look forward to watching more.🙂

A shawl or large scarf will be helpful when visiting the Cathedrals in Italy. Modesty of "American" outfits will be most appropriate.
You picked out some GREAT things this time Angela! I just bought 2 new Casual jackets: (another) denim one and a toffee-colored corduroy one. Because - you can never have too many!!!!
Thanks! I have a very cool skin tone, so instead of anything yellow to brown I am ordering pieces in Walmart’s Rose Wine this year. I’m getting some sort of pant and some sort of jacket basics in indigo blue, grey, black, and Rose Wine. Then I’m choosing shoes and tops to complete outfits. I did choose one knee high boot. I saw a photo of purple shoes with an all Charcoal outfit, so I got some Skechers in a fun purple. I bought several colors of jean jackets last year.

I love the maxi red skirt with the white short and the “blue jean jacket”. I love the green skirt w/white t-Shirt and black sweater. Prob would be bothered by the seam, but it is really cute.

Vote for 2nd jean they look expensive. The fit was so flattering. I'm over the moon to see you in the Blazer!!!!!!!! I swooned when the plaid water fall vest (wonderful!!) , basic L/S beige top,, and scarf tone's of beige worked perfectly together;) That total look is classic. I hear ya about animal print, but as Diana Vreeland said "Leopard never goes out of fashion." I appreciate your belt, and the fact you made use of the leopard and plaid together-nice.
Voting no on the walmart jean. The pink top, and the belt created a v shape that complimented the v's of the top too! Loved the details and back of that black belt.This was a super video it is a lot of work. The try ons, the commentary, the editing, I gush. I enjoyed the mix of store's, I live near a Kohls with the benefit of it offering an Amazon return counter that I have worn a path to.

Tip for your blazer - I love to roll the sleeves and scrunch them up. It feels a little more casual, which fits my lifestyle. I love the look of a blazer with jeans
Definitely the 2nd pair of jeans didn’t like the faded back on first. But out of all the jeans the plane pair at the end.

I'm truly not into color for myself, so my go to colors are gray, beige, black, white and olive green. I know. I'm boring!

I never did much reaching out for different colors in the past either but I have been pushing myself to try new colors and styles and funny enough, this is how I have been finding new favorites for myself! @ Rene Klein Oh, honey, you're missing out! As we age, we NEED more color, at least near the face. When I was in my 30's, I read the book COLOR ME BEAUTIFUL to find my color season. I found out I am a "winter". I added appropriate colors to my neutrals and have never looked back! Now, almost 68, I make almost all my own earrings to go with my "new" thrifted outfits. Color is so much fun!!! Start with adding scarves, tops or jewelry in colors that you love. Have fun!!! 😃

The Wildflower jeans are also at Kohl’s, but the pockets remind me of y2k, I like a clean line when my rear end is concerned, the embellishments just draw too much attention to my backside.

You can get the length shortened at most alterations shops, my dry cleaners shorten my jeans and dresses all the time for a nominal fee. Don’t be afraid to order stuff if you’re afraid of the length, customize your stuff so you are comfortable.
Blazer’s have been a staple in my wardrobe for years. Love belts. Love, love my skinny jeans! Love a dark wash denim for jeans. They tend to slim and lengthen. I will not give them up. Booties, yes, yes, yes! Love your videos ❤️.

Just discovered your channel. The thing I really, really like about you is, you show things that most of us can afford. I watched another lady's vids and OMG! $750 for a pair of shoes - and they weren't even pretty. Add that to the rest of her outfit and it was over $2000. For one frackin outfit! So, THANK you!!!!

I'd try the pink bomber jacket with a darker pair of jeans. I don't like the lighter Lee jeans the first 2 pairs I like much better. I think it's just the wash of the lee jeans the fit looks good.

Hi Angela...another great video. I am soooo excited that you got a gorgeous blazer. It won't be your last. I love my blazers and recently got a linen beige one, but I am really liking the one you got from Amazon...so classy and I like wearing mine with jeans. I think a blazer really dresses up jeans. I have the same animal print belt. I think lots of animal prints will not be in for fall but in small doses...heard red will be in and that skirt will be great for traveling since it doesn't wrinkle. I am so excited for you to go to Italy and your blazer, maxi skirts, the new tennis shoes will be perfect. I am loving that jeans are getting a little fancy in the rear again....takes me back. Lol I did not get rid of my skinny jeans for the same reason as you..look nice with booties. I know they don't wear active wear like leggings much in Italy. . Hi Rita! I have been kicking myself in the fanny asking myself why I have not tried a blazer sooner...Lol!! This is what happens when you reach outside of your comfort zone apparently! I just love it with the jeans! I can't believe we leave tomorrow already! I will be posting pics and video clips on Instagram while we are in Italy if you follow me over there. We start in Venice, then go to Tuscany including Florence, then to Sorrento on the Amalfi coast and finish in Rome. Can't wait to share my adventures with you all!!

I'm with you. I've tried lee jeans and I just don't like them. I like the other jeans much better. The lee jeans looks like something a grandma would wear (I'm 67 and a grandma) but I don't want to look frumpy! The skirt with the mismatch pattern...that already drove me crazy :)
I can handle a bargain with a slight mismatch along the sides, but that green skirt has a HUGE mismatch right down the front and stitch fix would be full price!!!

Really cute outfits! I prefer skinny jeans or straight. Bootcut or a baby boot is okay but if they are too flared being of average height I always feel like Gumby ;)

Just discovering your channel. Catching up on some old videos. I am 70, so I am a big, big blazer girl! I love that it’s back. Being more big breasted, I have found that the one button doesn’t work well for my figure. I do better with the blazer that has at least two buttons. Who knew? Keep up the great work!
