I don’t see the link for the silky long sleeve shirt you were wearing with the wide shorts. Is there a similar?
I don’t see link for the white silk shirt set
So am I correct that the US links are for “similar” items not exact ones? I checked all of the trouser links looking for the beige kick flare button front jeans as well as the white raw hem kick flares and none match. So trouser links at least are just for the same ideas of styles, not exact ones?

I know Arket doesn’t ship to the USA so maybe she couldn’t list that one. The mango link still showed prices in pounds so I wasn’t sure if I was looking at American sizing or British sizing.
I like the long wide leg trousers but I do t like them dragging on the floor
Just take them up slightly so they don't drag - that's what i do!
How does anyone wear them without getting the hems dirty
I don't want to have to hem brand new britches. (May come from when I was a young kid & I was a tall string bean. Also remember the rise on pants was often too long. Clothing has changed. Mom always shopped at Macy's & JC Penneys...not KMart.)
Due to walking issues sneakers are the only footwear I can wear as I need the cushioning so I have a dozen pairs to go with dresses, trousers etc.
Can't imagine driving with all that material from wideleg pants dragging on the car floor.
This is seriously so helpful! I often feel like I ruin my outfit as soon as I put shoes on. Could you do more styling with shoes tips for closed toe, flats, and a winter season version? For some months of the year it just isn't practical to have exposed ankle showing, and post pandemic I find I can't bear wearing heels as I used to.

I would love to see more styling for feminine looks with closed toe shoes. For work, business casual/closed toe/standing all day, I find it hard to find the right outfit in the warmer months

Me too. I can’t work in heels. I’m on my feet all day.
Amen! I have terrible feet, suffer from multiple old foot injuries and plantar fasciitis, and I can only wear Merrell shoes. With my custom orthotic in. I've tried ballet flats and, now way, they just don't have enough sole or ankle support. I'm pretty much stuck in boots 😳🤦♀️. I look like I'm ready to climb the Alps ALL THE TIME 🤣🍻.

Would love to see a video about chosing best dress lengths and styles for body types, especially as summer approaches. I'm a short legged, wide hipped, busty pear shaped lady and always have trouble figuring out what lengths and styles are most flattering.

There is nothing better than a lightweight, 100% linen, or cotton top, with taupe cropped pants, and lovely sandals on a hot summer day. I cannot abide tops with POCKETS, especially since I already have a large bust.

Great video. People don’t realize it’s small changes that make a great impact. You can make or break an outfit with simply your shoe choice. The color and style will raise or lower the frumpy factor immediately.!

Thank you. I am guilty of all of these styling mistakes. I wear ugly athletic shoes as they are most supportive of lower back problems. You gave me some ideas on how I can at least improve my situation with the shoe color, pant length, and choice of top. If you are taking any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate seeing a video about what 'mistakes' to get rid of from my wardrobe. First time viewing your video and love the useful tips you provided! Most of these mistakes I have made but with a few simple changes I now know I can avoid the frumpy look. And most of the things to add or change I already have in my closet and just didn’t know how to pull it together. Always enjoy your videos. Being shorter (5ft 2 if I'm optimistic!) it would be fantastic if you could sometimes list petite ranges - particularly trousers. shortening longer trousers doesn't always work. keep the videos coming 🙂
I think this is supposed to be inspiration. You can click on the links she provides and then use the description on the website, (ie linen button down shirt) and just type it into the search bar with "petite". I think she already puts in so much effort linking the things she shows us and alternatives. It's a lot to ask her to list for petite, tall, curve and regular. I'm tall and I do what I suggested above.

Ah, bless you, thank you for your concern. I went on holiday with my family so when i got back i had back to back styling clients everyday including the weekends and just didn't get a break in my schedule to film anything so thats why it's taken awhile but I promise i haven't gone anywhere! I'm actually working on 3 new body shape master classes with plus size ladies, a lady of colour and another lady with big boobs and tummy issues so all that prep is keeping me busy in the background. Melissa I just found you a couple of weeks ago and I am a HUGE fan! Thank you for speaking to the everyday woman. Just LOVE your content! Not sure how I made it to 57 and did not know I was a strawberry ;) I had not heard that term before. I am on the short side (5'3") with curvy legs (defined calf) so will be trying out wide pants. Question about the flowy shorts. If someone is not wanting to wear them quite a short as this video should we stick to pants or is there room for a bit more length with the shorts as long as they are flowy? Thanks!

P.S thoughts on shapewear please?
Wonderful! Shapewear is so personal. It depends what area needs shaping. Generally speaking if you're a pear you should wear one that starts above the knees and goes under the bust so it smooths down the thighs, apple - a waist nipper is good as then it doesn't flatten the bottom (which is a common characteristic of an apple shaped lady) but most people aren't just one shape so to advise with any real level of accuracy i'd need to see you i'm afraid. x

How would you suggest a knee length skirt would work, or are they a complete no this year ?
I could see the White Stuff one is the wrong length. I had to laugh, those knee length denim shorts are exactly what I wear gardening! Nowhere else though apart from a quick emergency dog walk🤭. I do love long skirts but in summer I also like knee length to get some on my legs. Absolutely no way I go higher than the knees for anything, my thighs are awful. Even with daily yoga, aerobics, walking you name it.
Hi Trish. I'd wear a knee length skirt with a sandal or slider or maybe a small wedged heel or espadrille. Just make sure theres no straps and they're neutral in colour. x

Hi Melissa from New Zealand, just sat and watched a couple of your videos. 56 years young always been a plus size hour glass figure but carrying the extra menopause weight around my tummy (from my waist & derriere to the top of my leg) and fed up feeling frumpy and getting it wrong all the time - as we are coming into autumn and I need to do abit of clothes shopping you have certainly given me some ideas not only to like the reflection in the mirror but to walk talk with confidence knowing I rock whatever I am wearing. I moved from a cooler coastal climate to the midwestern US where we have hot humid summers, which means I had to buy new shorts. Now I have some good input on where to hem my not-too-tight shorts the best, long-leg look.

Great video :) My biggest styling mistake was def not understanding my own coloring and which colors suited me best. It has made a huge difference for me now starting to get familiar with pretty much all the colors I always avoided, but they honestly look so much better on me than the cool colors I used to use. Bright/light vibrant warm colors seems to be what works for me. Who knew?? 😅

I am very new to your channel, having just discovered it among all those self-proclaimed "style experts" you can find on YT. I am thrilled, I am amazed and I am so genuinely happy that I found a channel of a person that really knows her job, advises women with normal body shapes and features and offers outfits that will be relevant for all of us who wear sizes bigger than UK 10.
