Believe me, this has come back to haunt Sunak in the UK, his act of infamy in returning to the UK to record a TV interview rather than visiting ''Bloody Omaha'' beach on which so many young Americans were killed and wounded to rid the world of tyranny and not visiting some of the other beaches and areas where so many men died and were injured will not be forgiven or forgotten in the UK.
I am an old British soldier and 70 years old and have been on active service, but nothing like anyone faced on the Normandy beaches, but even those much younger in the UK who have never served in our forces are condemning Sunak for his unforgivable action in Normandy.
