It would just underline how broken and chaotic they are. Say you really like Penny Mordant and would want to vote for a conservative party led by her. What's the probability that she'd still be the leader even a year from now? If the party genuinely wanted Penny Mordant as leader, they should have elected her when she ran against Liz Truss, but they didn't. She didn't even get into the final round for the members to vote on, and when the members did get to vote they chose the less competent further right candidate. Sending asylum seekers to Papua New Guinea and Naura was an unmitigated disaster causing many deaths. The Australian healthcare system is far from perfect - consider £1500+ for a root canal and, if you can afford health insurance, it covers 'standard care', so expect large additional bills at the end of it. I think Sunak is doing this deliberately like maybe not consciously aware but there's a bit of his mind that reallllllllly wants to lose so it can go to California and be where it's happiest not in dreary UK bankbenches doing constituency work for the next 5 years
British people's views of Aussie politics are spoon fed soundbites by the Conservative party and right wing headbangers. Sending asylum seekers to Papua New Guinea and Naura was an unmitigated disaster causing many deaths. The Australian healthcare system is far from perfect - consider £1500+ for a root canal and, if you can afford health insurance, it covers 'standard care', so expect large additional bills at the end of it. Without cover, ambulances cost thousands for short journeys.
PS. My wife is an aussie and we've been going annually for 20+ years. Now looking at emigrating as, for all it's faults, it's far better than here.
