Also, i highly recommend to everyone to play attention to what bosses say! I know, that text is seems corrupted, but if you pause and try to read, you actually can see that scary Srapped Wathcman actually maybe not so bad, cause he blames adults for everything that happens to his friends - children, and also that he misses them. Extremely hyped for the game, hope it did well and we see more from the devs. ❤

It is interesting that the development team talked about 3 major endings, as Bloodborne has 3 major endings as well. And the speculation Shinigami made in this vid aligns pretty well with those BB endings; the one with the blue haired girl could be an interpretation of the Mercy Kill ending where you wake up in the Real World(aka human); the one involving Giappeto could be evocative of the ensing where you become, oh idk, a PUPPET of the Moon Presence; and finally Manus' ending could be an interpretation of what many assume to be the "good" ending of BB, but as Shinigami pointed out in his video on BB, it is anything but...
Im so glad im not the only one that likes the weapon sharpening thing. I think it makes the game more interesting, and gives you a reason to pace yourself and stay on high alert. Maybe even ads another layer of difficulty, considering you have to know when to sharpen just like you need to know when to heal. It's so goood!

I'm not normally a big Soulslike fan but the moment I first saw anything about this specific game, I was instantly hooked. Not only does the steampunk-esque aesthetic make me so happy but I love that the developers are taking a story that is already pretty damn dark and making it even darker than before. SO hyped for the lore in this game. We made a video on some of the potential lore back when the demo dropped and I love that you're out here digging through too. The idea of the Geppeto family is solid, I have a feeling the details of this story won't be as esoteric as From games. I could see this being a mid-to-late game reveal.
I played the demo and was absolutely blown away by the style and polish, genuinely incredible, hyped as fuck, hope it pushes Sony to finally release Bloodborne on PC.
Sony have lowered their budget for single player games, it's 55/45 split in favour of live service, it used to be 88/12 in favour of single player. That should tell you all you need to know about what route Sony are planning on taking. They plan to split the budget even further with it being 60/40 in favour of live service. Sony exclusives have gone downhill big time and i beleive it will only get worse.

I'm just amazed how someone finally toke folklore and finally made it into one of the most popular genre of games which are Souls games. The whole atmosphere and the scenery is just mind blowing. Can you imagine other folklore games possibly being made into souls games like Alice and Wonderland. This could be the start of something amazing.

Your theories are what is going to make me play. Up until now I had no idea about the plot and stuff. I love games with a good story. Just running around killing things and finding items isn’t enough. Backstory has also intrigued me now more then just thinking there are some rabid puppets misbehaving. With your theories, I am now curious about what is going to happen at the end of the game (my personal play through). I think I will preorder now. If I don’t progress however (lack of skill, direction, whatever) probably my last “souls like”. So fingers crossed haha.
Im really fascinated by the homage to michealangelo's sculpture "pieta" (mightve mispelled.. well all of that lol) shown here 6:00 The sculpture was made "for God" instead of the people. Thats why it initially gained hate for having the subject seemingly be the mother Mary instead of Jesus, but if u lool at the sculpture from above, or "God's view", the subject appears to be Jesus. My interpretation of this is that Gepeto is god, who "gave birth" to the puppet without, lets say normal human intercourse. But instead of god in flesh its a puppet thus the metal material whereas the human is normal stone. Heart is taken out of the puppet for obvious reasons, and is dead. It was like saying you are my son, and quite possibly a messiah to the puppets, and also the closest to "god" or in this case human but ultimately in this variation never quite reaching that level.
The fact that ive literally been following this game since 1st ever announced and watching this game go live with preorders but somehow missed out on the deluxe baffles me but oh well
I wish you had uploaded this sooner than the literal day the demo closed. I had no clue there even was one, and now I'll have to wait until I get enough money to buy the game to play any of it.
Honestly I feel like the trailers revealed a little too much. Can you imagine yourself slowly exploring and the slow buildup to the big reveal of you fighting Cthulhu monsters? That would be the biggest twists ever, robots to wacky monsters.
Blood vial argument: Being my first Soulsborne game I wasn't very good at it. The direction they went with was that of a slight survival horror feel. This means painstakingly pushing through challenging areas and trying to manage vials as you take damage, this leads to incredibly tense moments when you are desperately searching for the next lamp/bonfire with only a small amount of vials left before death and you know there might be enemies ahead. Loved this feeling personally as opposed to Elden Ring/Dark Souls where you are always fully stocked with Estus and eventually get to the point of having too much healing where the game feels trivial. Defeating a boss with no vials left and knowing you have none in your surplus is immensely rewarding, as opposed to simply dying and starting again with a jacked amount of healing items. Eventually when you get good at these games you don't need to farm at all, I could pick the game up today and not need to farm ever, but this is a problem for a lot of players. The argument against this is simply, farming kinda sucks. This point is also very basic BUT valid. I think FROM achieved in what they wanted with the survival feel to the game. Despite my actual love of this design choice I can see a QOL update in a remake/remaster that auto refills your vials.
I never ever had to grind for vials in Bloodborne, I feel like this is mostly an issue of play style. The people I see running out of vials are the ones always trying to run past every enemy. So that's on them 100%. If you kill all the enemies instead (doesn't really take much longer) then you'll: 1. Lose fewer vials since it's way less risky to just kill enemies one or two at a time 2. Get better at fighting the enemies faster 3. Get constantly rewarded with loads of extra blood vials and bullets I think I had like 200 vials in the last third of the game. Basically, if you run out of blood vials, then you're not good enough at the game yet and shouldn't be running past all the enemies.
Calling it now, the big plot twist is going to be that you're not actually playing as Pinocchio, just some other puppet with a "P" name and Pinocchio is actually the final boss.
So it doesn't have to be said that I too am excited and waiting in anticipation of the release of this game. However I want to just say I am also thoroughly impressed with the construction of this video, this review/lore video. (Two things I enjoy indulging in from time to time) ShinigamiEater I don't know how long you have been doing this but this style of video is something I aspire to create. The relaxed mentality that your established in your craft but the formality to present the information in a composed way that professionals are picking up what your putting down. You have a wide array of old and new sound clips, music and editing style.....unless you paid someone to do this, in which case I tip my hat to them. But the direction of the video surely was yours and for that I whole heartedly appreciate the masterpiece that has your name on it. I do have a few questions creator to creator I'd like to reach out and ask just for my own protective reasons. I try to reach out to established people to understand more about the ethics of content creation.
honestly coming to the theory i dont think the puppet pinochio is just a puppet what if he is the son of simon who maybe was ill or got injured badly so geppetto put a mechanical heart and arm horrified simon becomes an enemy to geppetto while Pinochio lost his memory due to maybe the trauma of the accident and thinks he is a puppet trying to become human or something like that

lies of p literally had the best demo i have ever played. i just hope they didnt put all the work in the first few areas and let the endgame slide..

Your theories are what is going to make me play. Up until now I had no idea about the plot and stuff. I love games with a good story. Just running around killing things and finding items isn’t enough. Backstory has also intrigued me now more then just thinking there are some rabid puppets misbehaving. With your theories, I am now curious about what is going to happen at the end of the game (my personal play through). I think I will preorder now. If I don’t progress however (lack of skill, direction, whatever) probably my last “souls like”. So fingers crossed haha.

The sculpture was made "for God" instead of the people. Thats why it initially gained hate for having the subject seemingly be the mother Mary instead of Jesus, but if u lool at the sculpture from above, or "God's view", the subject appears to be Jesus.
My interpretation of this is that Gepeto is god, who "gave birth" to the puppet without, lets say normal human intercourse. But instead of god in flesh its a puppet thus the metal material whereas the human is normal stone. Heart is taken out of the puppet for obvious reasons, and is dead.
It was like saying you are my son, and quite possibly a messiah to the puppets, and also the closest to "god" or in this case human but ultimately in this variation never quite reaching that level.

Honestly I feel like the trailers revealed a little too much. Can you imagine yourself slowly exploring and the slow buildup to the big reveal of you fighting Cthulhu monsters? That would be the biggest twists ever, robots to wacky monsters.
I loved when P said IT'S TIME FOR GROGGY MODE and then grogged all over the enemies
Blood vial argument: Being my first Soulsborne game I wasn't very good at it. The direction they went with was that of a slight survival horror feel. This means painstakingly pushing through challenging areas and trying to manage vials as you take damage, this leads to incredibly tense moments when you are desperately searching for the next lamp/bonfire with only a small amount of vials left before death and you know there might be enemies ahead. Loved this feeling personally as opposed to Elden Ring/Dark Souls where you are always fully stocked with Estus and eventually get to the point of having too much healing where the game feels trivial. Defeating a boss with no vials left and knowing you have none in your surplus is immensely rewarding, as opposed to simply dying and starting again with a jacked amount of healing items.
Eventually when you get good at these games you don't need to farm at all, I could pick the game up today and not need to farm ever, but this is a problem for a lot of players.
The argument against this is simply, farming kinda sucks. This point is also very basic BUT valid. I think FROM achieved in what they wanted with the survival feel to the game. Despite my actual love of this design choice I can see a QOL update in a remake/remaster that auto refills your vials.
In bloodborne it became trivial too plus you had 20 vials from the start as opposed to actually increasing estus. Fail arguments

I never ever had to grind for vials in Bloodborne, I feel like this is mostly an issue of play style. The people I see running out of vials are the ones always trying to run past every enemy. So that's on them 100%.
If you kill all the enemies instead (doesn't really take much longer) then you'll:
1. Lose fewer vials since it's way less risky to just kill enemies one or two at a time
2. Get better at fighting the enemies faster
3. Get constantly rewarded with loads of extra blood vials and bullets
I think I had like 200 vials in the last third of the game.
Basically, if you run out of blood vials, then you're not good enough at the game yet and shouldn't be running past all the enemies.
Calling it now, the big plot twist is going to be that you're not actually playing as Pinocchio, just some other puppet with a "P" name and Pinocchio is actually the final boss.
Hell yeah brother i still watch that bloodborne video every two weeks. It makes me mourn not having a PlayStation 4

So it doesn't have to be said that I too am excited and waiting in anticipation of the release of this game. However I want to just say I am also thoroughly impressed with the construction of this video, this review/lore video. (Two things I enjoy indulging in from time to time) ShinigamiEater I don't know how long you have been doing this but this style of video is something I aspire to create. The relaxed mentality that your established in your craft but the formality to present the information in a composed way that professionals are picking up what your putting down. You have a wide array of old and new sound clips, music and editing style.....unless you paid someone to do this, in which case I tip my hat to them. But the direction of the video surely was yours and for that I whole heartedly appreciate the masterpiece that has your name on it. I do have a few questions creator to creator I'd like to reach out and ask just for my own protective reasons. honestly coming to the theory i dont think the puppet pinochio is just a puppet what if he is the son of simon who maybe was ill or got injured badly so geppetto put a mechanical heart and arm horrified simon becomes an enemy to geppetto while Pinochio lost his memory due to maybe the trauma of the accident and thinks he is a puppet trying to become human or something like that
