Hi everyone! Hope you're all doing brilliantly :). Myself and a good friend of mine host a weekly self-development podcast and this week's episode is featuring a very special guest, TheMainManSwe himself! He talked very openly and eloquently about his struggles with anxiety and handling societal pressures in the world that we live in today, and he also provided some excellent advice as to how he was able to overcome these things and become a little bit better each day. We talk about this, as well as a whole plethora of other topics that hopefully you guys listening can gain some benefit from. We would be incredibly grateful if you guys could give it a listen and let us know any feedback (positive or negative) in the comments below! Since you asked nicely, I checked that podcast and I want to give you my feedback. Imo it's too long you should cut it to parts. Idk maybe 15-20 minutes for each part, that would be a lot better for people who want to listen to this podcast but don't have too much time. I like that you asked interesting questions, and that you were actually listening to him, not just mindlessly asking questions like many people do. This podcast is on Spotify but I think when you see a person that is talking is better because somehow I focus more. So next time maybe try uploading it on youtube with cams? Thanks so much for giving us a listen! Have a great day sir!
@@Joseph-gm5fb Agreed TMM had many interesting things to say. I actually started to using his advice. What I'm worried about, that girl is going to reject me? It's not the end of the world. I was always worried about trying something new because I was always thinking about bad consequences that would never happen!
But the whole reason why Akuma is considered to be so strong is because of the risk/reward of his moves. You still need to know the super difficult combos with akuma in order to get the amazing risk/reward that makes akuma so good to begin with, but now you can also study the easier combos to give yourself more consistency in certain situations. If a person just wants to do the easier combos without knowing the hard combos, then that person should just play lucky chloe and spam hop kicks and cat rolls. The bottom line is that Akuma is more viable at lower levels of play, but there are already plenty of other characters that will do much better online. And in competitive play, these changes are more like big quality of life changes that make it so that you don't have to do the super hard mode combos anymore if you just want to punish. In fact, I think that it gives the character more depth by making it so that a person can study and learn more combos for more consistent punishment. I also think that the developers didn't want spectators to not be able to play the character that the pros play, and that's why they made this change even if it means that people play the character in a way that's different from the way that the pros play. If a person just wants to learn the easy mode combos, that person is not much better off than if he were to just play lucky chloe. With akuma, you would get much better punishment but only when you have meter. And you don't have access to these combos when you don't have meter while characters unlike Lucky Chloe who can spam hopkicks and cat rolls all day. The god-tier pakistan akumas that are already very consistent with the hard mode combos will benefit only slightly from these changes. Having to juggle more combo routes and situations to get that perfect wall splat is a challenge in itself.
This is why Super Akouma said Akuma is better now. And overall, I agree. Awais Honey said that Akuma was better in season 3. But that's to be expected. Doing the FADC stuff for him isn't hard in the first place anymore so getting the damage reduced on that can hurt a pro player that optimized and got maximum out of every aspect of damage conversion. So I think Akuma is now pretty balanced in that regard. A lot of us Akuma hopefuls were always bugged about having to do so much ridiculous stuff that broke the pad that it wasn't worth picking him up. Now, after seeing this video, I will give Akuma an honest go of it. Even if I am not honey or SA, I will get a lot of bang for my buck with that Ex-Tatsu.
Only Pakistanis are fine with akuma... He's hated everywhere else... Even knee constantly moans about akuma, he thinks that akuma has nothing to do with Tekken.. Opinions of the majority no longer can be ignored, demon flip should be hit, just like 10 frame launcher and D2, and then buff him in other areas.. Many top tiers got nerfed while akuma is slightly better than before , It doesn't take nuclear science to understand the state of this game
I started the game 3 days ago and i chose akuma for my main as soon as i start the game cuz am a old tekken fan i just couldn't play the game and now i can play it and am happy about my akuma🖤
The old big boy combos are not only safer but they have better wall carry (which is a big factor in getting the extra damage) which is good on larger stages. Honestly though, as an Akuma main, I don't he didn't needed this. It's like the initial design consideration was to make Akuma hard to play by having slower moves than most of the cast and moves that take longer to recover but then they make this change and give him something that makes it easier to do really high damage combos. It's like they really don't know what they want to do with Akuma. I mean I guess I know they wanted Akuma to be picked more but honestly not every character has to have(or will ever have) the same pick rate as others. Akuma should have just been left as he was honestly.
It all honestly I prefer playing 2D characters (since I am mostly a 2D fighter player) so Akuma feels great to play. I really hope in Tekken 8 we get more like him. (Imagine if we got Sol Budguy, that would be nuts)
@@Claweddigger09 Oh that works but it has to be a full dash and its hard to shift your thumb between forward and back 4 times, cleanly, and time the dash properly. Plus there are situations where she won't get the last 1+2 hit if they are even slightly off-axis with a single normal dash. Lastly that works perfectly if you have 5 hits before the screw. 6 hits is still manageable but again, you need slightly deeper than a regular normal dash to make sure it doesn't drop. However, Its a bitch to do if you have tacked in 7 hits before the screw. I do Bryan Deep Dash Combos very consistently now. This is harder. Trust me.
People are hating on super akuma when he was playing him. He was the only person who can preform his death combos in tournaments and he did it against chikurin and liquid . Best Japanese's players . Then people start to hating on him because he was nothing without the character. Now the table has turned. Akuma he s not been the same as harder as used to be . Let s those ass scurbs playing akuma and be like oh l can do those combos now . Smh after 3 seasons passed
even with the big boy combo after the dash cancel you do b1 and if the d3 wasn't close enough or you miss the b1 timing b1 is a high you get launched anyways but an experienced akuma player will be able to tell whether the D3 was clean hit or not and only then proceed to do b1. anyways if you have 2 bars the execution gets really easy you know the combo that mainman showed in which you don't even need to do b1 just do 1 into tatsu for the 2nd bar.

We would be incredibly grateful if you guys could give it a listen and let us know any feedback (positive or negative) in the comments below!

I really hope you guys like it!
Much love, The DMC
Since you asked nicely, I checked that podcast and I want to give you my feedback.
Imo it's too long you should cut it to parts. Idk maybe 15-20 minutes for each part, that would be a lot better for people who want to listen to this podcast but don't have too much time. I like that you asked interesting questions, and that you were actually listening to him, not just mindlessly asking questions like many people do. This podcast is on Spotify but I think when you see a person that is talking is better because somehow I focus more. So next time maybe try uploading it on youtube with cams?
Overall nice podcast, fun to listen to while drinking tea or coffee :)
I love the positive atmosphere keep it up guys, wish you best!
@@saitou6613 thanks man for the productive feedback and the kind words ❤️ it really is appreciated! The TH-cam with cams stuff is definitely something we want to get ourselves involved in because you're absolutely right it feels a lot more personal and easier to focus. And yeah perhaps we will try to make it shorter, although this one was longer than our usual as Adrian had so many really insightful things to say :)
The one we recorded today which is going up in January was closer to half an hour so we can see how that goes haha!
@@saitou6613 And he is exactly the same in person! No crazy ideas or radical thoughts, just realistic and helpful :)
Time waste
08:15 Here He Did It Just One Time In The Whole Video.
Green ranks : finally my time has come
When mailman says anyone he is talking about anyone that has played since tekken 1
WaW I can see more details of your face now in the start 😂
How did he know my fingers were crooked.. HOW?!!!
death combo at 8:16
You are not just anyone. You are a final Boss!
4:54 ahh my Tekken life struggle 😅
4:37 :c don't worry king it happens to the best of us
My online experience. Everyones using king or jin.
PC Gigas Player Here.
Can relate.
On ps4 ive played a few matches and havnt ran into either, granted, I play king and devil jin
My brain will not allow me to play this character
I loaded up tekken to see if i could do it and succeeded on my 3rd try. I don't main akuma at all. I only have like 30 minutes on him
His hit detection is tooooo flawless
Bring back the season 1, akuma, execution is very hard, but damage is insane.
I think they wanted Akuma to be more accessible and then be liked more by the community. problem is, they shouldve toned down the damage a tad more
Nah more like give other anti airs to counter akuma geese Eliza etc
I HOPE YOU ARE ALSO DOING AWESOME MAINMAN!!! 🥊💀❤️
After all this years he is still...
6min - that combo is more easier and has a higher damage than normal FADC?
I like that.
It all honestly I prefer playing 2D characters (since I am mostly a 2D fighter player) so Akuma feels great to play. I really hope in Tekken 8 we get more like him. (Imagine if we got Sol Budguy, that would be nuts)
After this video everyone will just play akuma and do death combos to each other
To be fair Sako is like 40 now and still has amazing execution
Mainman: Anyone can do this.
Me: Dropping Kazumi bnf2,1,1+2 in combos after screw.
I saw a comment somewhere about that.
You can just normal dash then do the B F 2 1 1+2 cuz Kazumi steps forward when she does that move
Trust me.
@@BullC6 good to know
People are hating on super akuma when he was playing him.
Akuma has always been for scrubs ...
He has nothing to do with Tekken...
even with the big boy combo after the dash cancel you do b1 and if the d3 wasn't close enough or you miss the b1 timing b1 is a high you get launched anyways but an experienced akuma player will be able to tell whether the D3 was clean hit or not and only then proceed to do b1. anyways if you have 2 bars the execution gets really easy you know the combo that mainman showed in which you don't even need to do b1 just do 1 into tatsu for the 2nd bar.
Anyone else notice how they nerfed the absolute shit out of Kuma in season 4?
Yessssssss bruh wtf..... I was mad and didn’t even main them
@@wisdomseeker0142 Harada: "We can't have him winning any more tournaments, also don't ask me for shyt."
Me the beginneer : don't do that, don't give me hope
This is great, idk why Mainman is so mad. I should be allowed to do cool combos too!
i almost mastered all of his combo but this dissapoint me lol. Long practise his combo but suddenly his combo become easier with same dmg
@9192631770 H who cares if your punish is unsafe on block lol, shouldn't be blocked anyway
Now Imagine Atif Butt with this easy death combo...
The Akuma GOD became even deadlier > .>ll
Just started trying the tekken akuma. Goodness. I cant play him worth a lick. Im sure after mucg practice ill appreciate him. Hes gonna make my brain fall out.
Any other character this would piss me off but Akuma is just such a rad character I cant hate. Lol
Akuma needs his parry moves are scrabble flixs his move list
I can do some combos that don't use the Focus Attack Dash Cancel (that's a mouthful) but I know that won't do if I decide to play an online match.
Can i do those compos with the ps4 controler
Alternate title; TMM struggling to do a FADC
so akuma is back in the game
bandai: hmmm.... Yep thats totally not overpower
He just exaggerates it, death combo with Akuma still needs some execution
This Video is quite old but "safety" is not the reason why you should not use EX Tatsu if you do the right Combos you get more Walltravel and damage.
You don’t even look 35 , wow!
