One of two level crossings located either side of Llanelli Railway Station and around a quarter of a mile apart in the Welsh town of Llanelli. This level crossing is the larger, busier, and louder of the two, and it's located at the eastern (closest to Swansea) end of the railway station. Like Llanelli West Level Crossing, it too was fully renewed / converted in the mid 2010s to have an Obstacle Detection system constantly scanning it whilst in operation to proving it clear of obstructions. Oddly for a level crossing with full barriers, this also has two 'E2S' alarms at it, though each of these is louder than a lot of alarms of this type you'll come across. Unlike the West level crossing in Llanelli, this one has a footbridge for pedestrians to use to skip the wait at the barriers.
Despite being renewed within only the last ten years of this video being filmed and made, this level crossing's barriers appear to be in a fairly tired state, with some striking the floor as they lower, and the entry (left-hand) side ones occasionally having their skirting stuck out with the barriers in the raised position. All four are quite long, so they require and have supporter arms and tension chords. You may also notice a barrier light on one of them is very out-of-place and secured on by little else than a cable tie.
Three Sunday-evening lowerings are featured in this video, seeing trains from both Transport for Wales and Great Western Railway. The old 'HST' (Class 43) sets the latter TOC used frequently over-hung the platforms whilst stopping in the station, leaving this level crossing's barriers lowered for ages! Thankfully, the current trains used do not cause this issue.
    Thanks for watching!

I’m not surprised that the skirt is damaged. The crossing is aging a bit. This and West were installed between 2012 and 2013.

Nice video, however, a TH-cam channel called *Cash And Gabriel TNT* has stolen this video

That's just so annoying when that happens isn't it? I've looked into it and it's only a very poor screen recording, and you can see all my watermarks in it too. I'm not massively bothered by it in this instance tbh (though I have since submitted a removal request).
