    Hi, Could you pls suggest if we need to create a workflow for service catalog where we are only working on RITM and not creating any further task for fulfillment but request should flow the workflow from "Waiting for approval" to " Fulfillment" and then "Completed".

    Dear Brother! I am not clear about one thing here. Where & How did you attach the Work-flow we just created to the incident? (Since we have created the Work-flow as an independent entity right?) So there should be some place where we attach this work-flow to the incident right? Pls. let ,me know?

    Hello Sir, thank you for clarifying the workflows with this video. the only issue i have is that the incident task related list in Incident table doesn't populate with the task that is created. i have to manually add the Incident number in Incident_task table's 'incident' field to get that. (using Rome). Any advice how to automate it in the Create task of the workflow?

      Masked variable are used for password fields mostly. I will check that how we can implement the same in Catalog Item and will provide the update. Would you please let me know what exactly the requirement is :)

      Hi Raghavendra , "Is Critical" is basically a customized field or column created by me. You have to create this field in incident. :)

    Hi I have created a new workflow same as explained in video but "approver" tab is not appearing at the bottom of the page means incident is not moving to approval user stage. Can anybody help here to understand why its not moving

      Got the answer myself, workflow is changing to approvers stage but as I did not enable the tab in incident related lists I could not approve/reject it. So, added it and completed the workflow

    Skill: Servicenow ticketing tool, ibm mauinframe, active directory, web application, incident Stask.
    My work process only hanling SLA priority tickets on Servicenow tool.

    I had an issue with getting the task created in my New York personal instance. The below is for others that may have had a similar issue with getting the task to actually get created.
    After 'moving through' many pages I came across URL: community.servicenow.com/community?id=community_question&sys_id=c3cbc3e1db9cdbc01dcaf3231f96191b and was able to get the task created.
    This entry said to use a 'Run Script to use the 'worflow.scratchpad':
    -->workflow.scratchpad.incident = current.sys_id;
    -->and to add in the 'Create Task' script area:
    -->task.incident = workflow.scratchpad.incident;
    -->task.parent = workflow.scratchpad.incident;
    I will assume the one line of code connects the 'current' incident with the 'sys_id' of the incident being handled in the WF.
    Then the next two lines appear to connect the DB table incident with the 'current' incident in the WF.

      You can resolve it by selecting " Incident Task --> Parent " in Related lists. It has the Task created and not in " Incident Task --> Incident ". Hope this helps.

I tried to set a value for a HR Task (setting the Assigned to) but when I configure that activity (Set Vaule) I only have access to the Assigned to field for the Case. I mean only have access to the table for the case and I need to have access to the task table. How can I get it?? Thanks!
