I discovered AMXL 3 months ago and it's the best thing ever. I went from 200 stops a day with regular Amazon to 50 with XL and we go out in 2 man teams.
@@AlphaTonesStory yes, I was supposed to work 4 days and I was getting 45 - 47 hours and they kept asking me to go a 5th day for more hours. They definitely work long days because of how spread out each stops is. As for benefits I had health, dental and vision
5 months in AMAZON XL and I love how we get different drivers and different routes. Apartments can be a pain in the ass if there’s no single click access code, no code, no elevators. But overall I love it
It’s pretty chill. Scan the package, scan the truck it goes to, place it in the correct quadrant area and repeat. They play music at our facility while we work. I’d rather listen to my own but at least they do it 🤷🏽♀️

Cause they throw these big boxes on the conveyor belt and you have to take it off the conveyor belt with other regular size boxes coming down the conveyor belt nonstop. Sometimes they throw in by yourself. Most of the men and woman try to avoid loading such trailers
@@hondakid9170 were most of your deliveries to heavy for you and the helper. I hear some horror story that the driver and helper had to go through. For example carrying sofas on flights of stairs. So not everything can be put on a dolly due to some locations having stairs or it super super heavy
@@joselopez9495 yeah a lot of items were way too heavy for just 2 guys to lift, let alone carry up the stairs. yes also those items are usually too big for the dolly but it can be done by having 1 guy in front of the dolly with their hand on the package guiding the other guy as he pushes it where it needs to go.

I'm a little bit concerned about the little pain that I have in my lower back (I believe...90% of US population has that). How is it working in an AMXL facility in terms of those things related to lower back pain and stuff? thanks for your feedback
I would say it’s all about your practice and how your body can adapt to it. It’s like going on a hike first time when everything hurts and your body wants to give up. Humans are unique and we adopted to everything as long as you give time to adapt and don’t doing to fast. You mussels are holding all the bones together so let them do the work:) Good luck!
It depends for who I would say. Looking at this video you should be able to understand pretty well if this is something you want to do 5 days a week plus you need to remember that you have to take them up the stairs and deal with picky costumers. XL is more personal relationship with each customer. Do you have to build as relationships on the fly as you deliver and adapt to their demands and try to get them smile:)
As a driver or helper, you are responsible to load the truck yourself. Your helper is responsible to get the packages and bring them to you in the truck for you to scan and secure inside the box. If you applied for just a warehouse position, you will either be loading and unloading semis, or picking/packing orders

Late response so you probably already figured it out. Just look up to see if there is an Amazon XL center near you. If there is, then lookup Amazon box truck driver positions near there and it will bring up the different companies hiring. Just make sure you can pass a DOT and driving test first. Otherwise you will waste your time, and be prepared, sometimes the helpers will not always help you
Yep. This is close to what I am doing. The only difference is the format of the dock. Some units are scanned into pallets, if they go to sortation center. Others go individually. At the end of the day, I am primarily loading the truck. My body is getting less sore each week from this type of work and I am small.
@@argovill yeah. There are other people to work with. Sometimes we have to team lift some units on to a pallet. So of course it's not like they will put you by yourself.

me too lol i went from FedEx ground from hundreds of heavy packages to 4 times less lol. I'm in the onboarding process too.
Unfortunately I quit. Because they kept giving me excuses to keep me as a helper when I applied for a driving position 👍🏽 good company though.

There is two numbers one is stop number and another one is package number on they route. They are not the same if your stops have multiple packages.
