Jack Haigh..yes, be patient...im struggling little bit because I'm not used to the half-barree chord at the beginning..but as we know, the fingers take their time to adapt...greets from germany😊

I somehow forgot my password. I would love any help you can offer me

Really beautiful
Thank you so much 😊
You sir set the benchmark on how to play this song properly with the acoustic guitar. I cant stop replaying your cover. I wish i can play as close to how you played it.
Thank you so much mate!
Awesome you got SOUL!
Thanks a lot mate!
🔥🔥🔥
Got to say you have the patience man
FIRST! but all things aside, this will be amazing
Thanks mate! A song I really want to cover. Lamb of God and Chaka Khan!!! Eclectic man! 😂
Hahaha, well spotted
Great arrangement of “ Ain’t nobody”
thank you kindly
Great!
Pedro Hernandez nice one!
Excellent.
Joe Guitaro thanks!
I had two slight problems with this at first. The first was getting the thumb snap on 6th consistently obvious - I would either damp it much of the time or hit the 5th. The second was grabbing the EbmDim fast, given that it takes four fingers. I have always had problems with this dim shape, and so here I used a Ebm7b5 as a brief passing chord as I find the latter easier to grab. The move from Ebm7b5 to EbmDim is easy and can always be eliminated later, except that it does not sound 'wrong', to my ears at least.
Some people play this in drop D; I can't quite decide.
Thanks Jack.
Glad to hear you're adapting it and using your ears to what sounds right mate
Thanks that really helpful
You're welcome
That guitar sounds absolutely gorgeous. What brand is it? What was the signal chain? Great lesson and explanation - too. Enjoyed your playing. oNe LovE from NYC
I will reply about the guitar itself Michael, as it is almost certainly a Fylde Alchemist by the look of it. Label is right for Fylde and the size and shape look right for an Alchemist. I almost bought one once but decided upon a Lowden instead in the end, largely because I could find a used Lowden, whereas used Alchemists are almost as rare as rocking horse poo.
They are very nice and, like most British or Irish guitars work well in more humid environments (whereas some 'good' USA made guitars don't. Some just die on humid days. Some, but, by no means all. I have an American guitar and a Canadian guitar currently that do not fade on damp days and I have no idea why some do and some don't. Anyone else found this?).
dude good tutorial, but always play the song the whole way through to start with. Cheers.
Cheers bro but always check the video description ;)
Very nice indeed Jack thank you!
I’m about to change strings on one of my acoustics, would you recommend very light guage for this piece?
john murphy thanks mate! Id say medium/light would work. Thats what I have and it works well.
great first video man... only one thing could you play the whole up to speed one time first so we know to expect ... love the way you play bro...
Thanks man, if you click on the video link in the description, that will take you to a full version
tnx boss.. .
Thank you!
Sounds great!! How are you getting so much sustain out of your guitar? Is it a compressor? Thanks!
Thank you! I wasn't using a compressor actually, maybe just finger strength and a well made guitar
what tuning are you using for your setup ? sounds like a open but i could be wrong , and using my standard tunning just not flowing for me 😬
but best tutorial video out 😍
Thanks mate. It is just standard tuning here though
@@JackHaighMusic appreciation on the reply . i had a little difficulty at the beginning mainly im using a Ibanez Rg series and strings are much thinner than acustcs but with some training of my flying fingers its getting better in trying to replicate your playing
Pls Need Full Guitar Cover.!
I have one up
Great stuff! Sounds likes it's a bit in slow motion though.
Hmm, no slomo.. This was ages ago when I was a noob with recording though and sound though
Do you have a video of you just playing this? I didn’t see it in your list, sorry if I missed it
There is a video of me playing through the whole thing with a singer from a long time ago
th-cam.com/video/EEus7tcc2Fw/w-d-xo.html
Any chance you could put a version of you playing the whole song up?. That'd really help.
There is a link in the description. Keep an eye on my page though, an updated tutorial for the main riff is coming up
@@JackHaighMusic Brilliant! Thanks mate, much appreciated. I downloaded the tab which really helps too. I’ll definitely be using and recommending your lessons in future.
Well played... But how many personal deets for the tab?
Yeah im not sure why you have to put your number in. It used to be optional. I will try and change it but dont worry, I'm not going to steal your identity hahaha
cool cover cannot see a link to tab on here cheers
hey, description updated. Thanks for that
xx
Hi, where is the tab? please, thanks.
over at my website mate - www.jackhaighmusic.com Thanks!
Smoking!
The chorus should have an Aminor in it
It does 🤣
The only problem I have with his tutorial is that he slows it down so slow for every nuance that he uses in his particular rendition of the song. No offense, its quite good, but I just want to, for the most part see the chord changes straight through. The intro was ok. But. I can figure that out in some fashion even if it isn't as particular. However, I do quite appreciate his great finger picking in this version.
Thanks for the comments, I will bare that in mind for future tutorial videos
Came here because of the lamb of god shirt.
Stayed for the tutorial..? ;)
Unfortunately, l don't know how to play guitar 😁 but it's good though,, the tutorial 👍
