- The XJR1300 is back as the latest offering in the Sports Heritage Range. 20 years of evolution have delivered a stunning take on the iconic machine.
Yamaha has turned the XJR1300 in a retro-style café racer, inspired by the likes of Roland Sands and Deus. They’ve left the basics alone, like the engine and chassis and given it a facelift. It has a smaller tank, a black exhaust, a cleaner subframe design and a smaller café racer-style headlight. Not only does it look great, it’s smooth, fast capable and cracking value for money.
The XJR1300 continues with the same tubular steel frame and aluminium swingarm. It weighs a hefty 240kg, but this is a muscle bike and the extra weight flattens-out the bumps and gives an impression of invincibility. The lower subframe rails have been chopped to give the back end a cleaner look.

Apart from the Paint, Nothing different to my old 15 XJR. Yamaha killed it off for good reason. RIP XJR good in it's day ..............
Looks like a pretty nice bike, but the XJR has never been available in the US so this one probably won't be either. Side panels with the red blobs are as cheesy as the music.
The only Yamaha variation I would consider buying and not available in the US. Common!!!!!!!!

Looks good and the paint scheme is lovely but in my opinion Yamaha messed up the XJR around 2015. Small tank, black downpipes that look crap in no time and a saddle no use for a pillion. Want a retro muscle bike now? Kawasaki Z900RS is stunning.
