    Thanks for the fast response! This sounds very similar to the Evolve 75 which I tested myself using Audacity recording at 48 KHz. It sounds even better in wideband for PC video conferencing use or IP Softphone in wideband mode.

    Hi! I hope you could help me. I have watched all your reviews on Jabra evolve products and I have one question -- does the level of noise cancellation microphone of each really differs that much?
    I noticed in every table comparisons of each I read online, there's nothing much in detail to compare the noise cancellation mic. It's all about something else, like the ear cushioning, ANC, wireless/wired, etc. I am ok with whatever, I am just concerned with the NOISE CANCELLATION MIC. I need my clients not to hear background noises as much as possible. With this, do u think i could go with evolve 40 with the same NC mic quality? Or what evolve produc do u suggest based on my need? :)
    I hope I get a reply, your channel is awesome! You are awesome! Very helpful videos!

I tested them out however, the person I am talking to could still hear my dogs barking. I work at home, what headset do you suggest that would cancel sounds like dog barks and chicken noises so the person I am talking to wouldn't hear them as much as possible? (I also bought Jabra BIZ 2400 II, same issue :( )

      Hi Travel Chop, I tested several competitive dongles and USB headsets with the Poly MDA220 and the performance was unstable or did not work at all. If you need to connect the Jabra Evolve 65 to a desk phone, I recommend the Jabra Link 950. Jabra Link 950 Overview video th-cam.com/video/TGAUlCxAmjc/w-d-xo.html

    I have this headset, monoaural, and I notice that when I'm talking into the mic, sometimes I hear breath-blowing sounds in my ear piece (kind of like that echoing sound when you blow air into a microphone) and it's really distracting to hear, and also makes me self conscious when I'm talking. I'm told that the listener doesn't hear the noise, just me. I've tried moving the mic arm closer and further from my mouth, above and below my mouth, but then get complaints that they can't really hear me/sound distant. Any tips on whether this is user error, or something going on with the headset? I work in my home office and it's completely quiet, no background noise from others or music, or TV, there's no other source of "wind" like a fan or vent. Thanks!

    Hi can you please do a mic test on the new Jabra Elite 85h headphones? Thanks!

    • @jangojatt1
      @jangojatt1 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Tom, have banged my head off quite a few products that are a one stop shop but nothing is really that, 85h mic is average and is competing with Noise Cancelling headsets like Bose, Sony, etc. Sennheiser ones are good (I use PXC 550) and work in most average use cases for calls. My setup these days is PLT 3200 for day to day calls, PXC 550 for travel and calling or office settings where I wont talk a lot, Bose Soundsport Free for working out (carry elite 65t's for short flights/business trips due to their passive noise isolation). Based on Cell One videos I might go get evolve 75 and replace the 65t and PXC 550 as they will fulfill all use cases except the gym for which no one can touch the Bose. Hope this helps!

      Hi Ray! I somehow missed this comment. Apologies. Thought I had responded earlier. Yes, I used this headset for filming to showcase the audio performance. No, I would not recommend this headset for podcasts. We feature audio and device solutions for business communications and collaboration platforms. I am not an expert when it comes devices for podcasts. However most podcasters I see, use an actual microphone. The Evolve 65 Mic sounds slightly more faint than the Evolve 75. Was the mic gain set lower during the recording?

    • @GeorgeOu
      @GeorgeOu 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CallOneInc The Evolve 75 was boosted in post or the recording tool?

    • @GeorgeOu
      @GeorgeOu 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CallOneInc I bought a headset once based on someone's test results which were loud and clear but once I got the product, it was not loud at all. For Unified Communications applications there is no option to correct this in realtime so we are stuck with inferior faint audio.
      So while it's useful for demonstration purposes to normalize the sound and bring up the volume across the board, there should also be a demonstration of the raw unprocessed audio. So I like to record with Audacity so that I can hear what the raw sound drivers sound like because that is what gets fed to the UC application.
      I tested the Evolve 75 myself and found that it was the best Bluetooth microphone I had ever tested. Usually when a company implements active noise cancellation the voice becomes extremely unnatural and bad. The Evolve 75 was able to maintain a natural sound while applying extremely aggressive noise cancellation. I'm happy to hear that the Evolve 65 is using very similar technology even if the Mic boom looks like a different component.

      I find the evolve 75 review mixed bag. The microphone seems to be excellent but the background noise cancellation from microphone is not so great, there is another review showing the mic performance - th-cam.com/video/ynD6DnthlFU/w-d-xo.html

    • @GeorgeOu

      @@rsarchish In my test the mic active noise cancellation was really good. In the Call One Inc test for the Evolve 75, the cancellation was also really good.
