@@palm133 Thanks for the recommendation because I never heard of that headset. I think I can get it pretty quick. That'd be a great "vs" to do! Same price.
I agree! I didn't hear any coffee shop noise with the Go Work and I thought you sounded great. I thought it looked good too, although maybe I'm biased as the B2B sales rep for JLab :) Either way it proves that great quality doesn't always have to be expensive.
@@michaelschmidt8375 I swear it was in a real coffee shop with the same noise level and all. I couldn't believe it like how does this $50 headset compete with a nearly $200 headset? lol Just shows there's no excuses.
Snap that's a great compliment and encourages me to do better, do more of these comparisons. It comes easy to me because I truly use the products I review all day. Thanks for this! Which do you like better?
Wow, thanks! Yes, it really is work to some extent, but mostly it's just being patience. Just keep doing it because I actually love to do it. Always grateful for comments like this and any feedback I get.
Oh snap looking forward to it! Ya'll did a great job with the Go Work. I have another comparison I'm doing against the Microsoft Modern Wireless Headset too. You did better still lol
@JLAB why are you deleting my review on your website? my jlab go work are losing Bluetooth connection and sound a bit squeaky/staticky not sure what to call that noise this was after a few days of use . The first day was fine . but what I don't understand is why you keep deleting my review its not nasty just the truth and you also deleted my question
Thanks great video, I was wondering if my go work headset was comparable to the jabra headset my lead uses, I’m thoroughly impressed with its performance and value! I like how it automatically connects to both paired devices every time it’s powered on, does the jabra do that or do you have to “remind” it to connect to the second one. The go work is the first Bluetooth I have had that does this, truly a dream! I ha e a colleague that uses a full on gaming headset for his teleconferences, in the office even. I would love to see more comparison videos!
Awesome! So glad this video is helping others and that someone can relate. I feel bad I actually said that the Jabra Evolve 65 is "much better" because I listened to the audio playback in the coffee shop then came back home in a quiet office like, "Dang it actually did great." lol It's a "budget" headphone but performs like a high end one. There's some Plantronics headsets going for $200 that still can't perform like the JLab Go Work. It's a good headset for real!
I thought the jlabs sounded better based on the video. The evolve sounded a lot more like you could tell it was coming through a call line or something if that makes sense?
Thanks a ton! They're Warby Parker glasses. I've been trying to get them to sponsor my channel because people always compliment them. Dang it Warby give me some money for that! lol
@@TechOutAdam looking forward to that review. I was about to buy the Jabra, until I saw your review. I settled for the JLab for now, maybe I'll get the Jabra later on.
I'm currently using that Jabra ...but the right-speaker housing snap, so I'm try to check out for a replacement similar to my jabra evolve 65... now its either the jlab go work or jabra elite 45h
I am in the same dilemma.. I need the headset for conference calls while WFH, or when I go to my open office environment. But most of the time I'll use it to listen to music while working. I am still unsure..
I've yet to review the Jabra Evolve2 75 but have reviewed the Evolve2 65 and the music quality is good with it. The JLab Go Work is great actually for the price and gets plenty loud. Only flaw with the Jlab Go Work is the mids aren't pronounced very well.
I have Used evolve 65 for lik a year... The Fabrication quality is so poor that it broke in 4months. The Left Lobe broke twice and ripped of the Left pod completely. I replaced it and in next 4months the left pod broke and got detached. I have always delicately used and never was tough on it.
hi i reaaly like your comparison but what is not very clear to me is if the jlab go work has the noise cancelling on the microphone ? because when i work in a coffee shop my customers hear the music they run in the coffee shop? does the Jabra allows to speak without the inconvenient of surrounding noises being heard from my customers? i would be thankful to get this onformation before buying the jabra thanks
That coffee shop test was loud and I didn't do any edits. You can only adjust the mic input on your computer, which is how I recorded these microphone tests.
Great question. The mute button is all hardware based so no matter what you're using it with, Teams, Hangouts, Phone calls, Zoom, it mutes it with the side button.
Bluetooth issue I use a Softphone called Bria and sometimes I don't hear the ring notification until after the 3 to 4 rings or no rings at all . I experience this sometimes with chat notification sounds its like if the Bluetooth loses connectivity . I keep missing calls because I don't hear it ring . This was not an issue with my Plantronics device .I posted this question and jlab deleted it .
Bought 4 of these and after just a few months of use, 2 of them got microphone issues, it seems like an issue with the swivel of boom as moving the boom up and down causes the disconnection of mic. Really disappointed with JLAB, the build quality seems good but it really isn't.
Not sure but the build quality in Jabra is nowhere for me at least as the ear cups tend to break off very easily from the place where it connects with the head band.🤷🏽
I got these today and they sound awful for music.... There are all sorts of artifacts and weirdness... It's fine for calls and voice audio, like podcasts; but for what I do, which is listening to music while I work and pick up a call here and there when it comes, they are just no good. I'll be returning them to the store and swapping them for something else in that price range, but from your review, I will still forever wonder if I just got a bad pair.
It might have been a bad pair, not sure. I thought the volume and music for a headset were good. Much better than the Evolve 65 which is just good enough for voice and calls lol
Great video! I just bought the Go-Work for my iPad earlier today, but I can't figure out how to hear my own voice in my headset. I can't use them if my own voice is muffled, it makes me nauseous. I also can't figure out what to do to answer a messenger audio call or magic jack app call using my headset sometimes but not others. What do I press? Can someone please help me? I'm old! Thank you!!

You can use either of these wireless with or without the USB dongle. The Evolve 65 comes with a USB dongle for a stronger connection but I did test out the JLab Go Work with the bluetooth connection on my Macbook Air just fine. It's actually how I did the mic test in this video.
