Toyota Hilux 1GRFE Raptor Supercharger install & Dyno tune

This week we get Simon’s Hilux in for some upgrades
Tim from Raptor Superchargers sent down a kit and Simon brought in a bendix brake upgrade kit.
We also fit a PSICO airbox and Phatbars Snorkel with a 3” exhaust and extractors.
After all of that we carry out a custom tune to suit all the mods and get some great results from stock internals and 7psi.

I have changed my turbo twice since the factory one en the injectors too….at first it had a problem of cutting power after I let go of the gas after cruising at 120ks or above ……and I changed the injectors,turbo,en some sensors to get rid of the problem plus the cylinder head even ….en now it doesn’t even have power like the turbo doesn’t even kick in ….someone help 🙏

Great vid! Looks like a good shop to work in mate! I am currently looking into doing my timing chain on my space cab 2wd and now im on the crash course of doing this to it too. 320k+ is a worry to be adding any power to it, would you recommend an overhaul of other items if i go down this path with an older motor? Auto trans

These motors and gearboxes are pretty much bullet proof if looked after and tuned correctly.
I’d strap a supercharger on it without a worry as long as it’s not sludgey or anything.

All hilux’s in Australia are RHD
We got options of v6 petrol, 4cyl petrol or 4cyl diesel

What update would you like? It’s running and driving perfectly.
The kit is a 7.5psi kit with heat exchanger and full exhaust system including extractors

So at wheel figure will be less than manufacturer specs
