Raise your prices not your anxiety! I love it. Thanks girl!

All these years (30) I would just increase my prices as my product would go up. Plus, I never would figure more than just the cost of it never figuring a mark-up. And never would I raise them a little more to put into my pocket. I'm so old school and need to really figure this out! Thank you for such an inspiring and educational video. My eyes are wide open!!

Oh this makes me so happy to hear!!!! Did you check our Rock Your Business? I wish I would have learned these things sooner too, but the next best time is today :-)

I have to say the fact that you said I just "wung" it is my fav part of this video. I have had this discussion with many friends and clients about if you decide to just "wing" something... do you say I just winged it (I personally think that sounds wrong) or much like swinging a bat where you say I swung it... I say I just WUNG it. LOL

Thanks Dawn! I always enjoy your videos. How would you phrase the price increase sign to put up in the salon? So far I have “Dear Clients, thank you so much for your support!
Please be advised that my prices will be increasing effective October 1st.”
But it doesn’t feel quite right.

Dawn thanks for this information because I’m at that point to raise my prices again. I know I don’t charge enough so these 5 steps are very helpful. I’m going to use them and check out the your websites. All this is very helpful. I really appreciate all your tutorials and help. And get on that peloton. I’ll see you on it.

I used to walk out of SalonCentric or Cosmo prof with $60-$80 a week. Now, it’s around $120-$130 a week. And my colors haven’t gone up in the last 10 yrs. I need to increase them.
