Een wonderbaarlijk en voorspoedig 2022 wens ik jou toe! Bedankt voor alle prachtige verhalen, delen van kennis en de heerlijke recepten. Ik heb een plek in NL gevonden waar ze de amandelen verkopen!!! Reigersbos winkelcentrum in Amsterdam Zuidoost bij een turkse winkel naast de Vomar. Bittere amandelen. Ik denk dat ik voor 300gr €6 heb betaald. En ze zijn echt super smaakvol en origineel bitter. Als je ooit weer nodig hebt post ik ze wel voor je😁
Dankjewel goedoe, graag gedaan en het allerbeste ook voor jou en de jouwen. En wat ik zei, het is deel van ons erfgoed en dat moet beschermd en bewaard blijven ;) En aangezien ik altijd nieuwsgierig Aagje was en altijd tussen de bigi sma's was, kan ik dus veel van deze gerechten klaarmaken, haha ;) En mijn video is de eerste en tot nu toe de enige ECHTE Surinaamse versie ;) Oh ja??? Dan moet ik weer even langs Damsko, ik heb echt overal gezocht, op de markt bij die noten kraampjes en zo, niets... Maar goed te weten, dank je ;)

Precies! En amaretto likeur, bitterkoekjes en marsepein worden daar ook van gemaakt, dus ik snap de drukte niet, maar ik heb ze gevonden en mijn drankje meer gemaakt, zoals het hoort :)

Een kennisje van me heeft inderdaad voor me gevonden in Osdorp inderaad, dus ja, nu weet ik het :) Dankjewel voor het kijken, je bent er al 6 jaar bij zie ik, dus veel dank daarvoor! Ja, er zijn mensen die niet begrijpen dat je dingen moet uitleggen, want er zijn ook kijkers die de Surinaamse keuken of cultuur niet kennen... Bedankt voor dit heerlijk recept, ik heb hier in Nederland bij de Marokkaanse noten bar de bittere amandelen gevonden 3.50 euro voor 250 gram ik ga aan de slag en de zoute lemmetjes heb ik ook gemaakt
Echt waar??? Ik heb ze nergens kunnen vinden, vandaar dat ik online ben gaan zoeken... Succes ermee en wat goed dat je de zoute lemmetje ook gemaakt hebt ;) Hopelijk smaakt het, ik heb nog zat in de koelkast, haha ;) En nog een bodempje orgeade... zucht, haha :)
The spanish and the Mexicans made a similar drink. The Spanish one changed in a direction that I don't like. The Mexican version is delicious and is based on rice with cinnamon and I've seen recipes with almonds too. I love the Suriname version, my husband makes it, in the Netherlands! He buys the bitter almonds at the nut guys at the market. He needed to pre order them though. It's been a few years since he's made it through.
Yes, I'm aware of the many variations from different countries. The Maltese even have a version, I think it's called ruggata. The version that I tasted in Italy was just the almond milk with water and sugar, they don't make the syrup. When you drink it, it has a bitter after taste, our version doesn't. Oh I went to all the markets up here, all the vendors of nuts... none of them had it... That's why I searched online ;)
