He was definitely blessed with amazing vocal chords, but this is a culmination of 23 years of hard work. He is constantly improving himself. He’s an amazing human being and fine AF 🤣. You should watch “Stranger”2021, “Ikanaide” 2021 and the “Be With Me” official music video. The MV is HOT!! Sinful Passion - The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. In addition, the final part he added, with an oriental technique. Dimash is a phenomenon from Kazakhstan. He began taking singing lessons at the age of 5 and was found to have the gift of absolute pitch (perfect pitch). He has university studies with degrees in classical and opera, another in contemporary music, pop and jazz, he was a specialist in Vogel technique. He also completed a Broadway musical masterclass. In 2020 he completed his master's degree in the specialty of composition and received the master's degree with honors from him having achieved the maximum score of 100%. Since then he has started his Ph.D.
He currently has a vocal range of over 7 octaves and 3 semitones, but he humbly dismisses this amazing fact and emphasizes that it's not how much range you have, but what you do with it. He has won many prestigious awards and is a decorated national treasure in his native Kazakhstan.
He has performed songs in 14 different languages. He speaks Russian and Kazakh fluently, some Chinese (which he continues to study) and is quite good at English.
At the age of 22, he was invited as a wild card to participate in a Chinese singing show for professional singers. The show catapulted him to stardom and he became a pop superstar in China (600 million fans)
