Igor Krutoy, the man in white shirt giving his standing ovation, invited Dimash to participate in this festival in the same year. "Sinful Passion" was created in 1998. This is how the song was performed, exactly in the 20th anniversary of this song. It speaks of greater love, greater loss, greater despair, greater desire, greater passion. The loss or lack of this love, in Dimash's interpretation, has the dimension of a loss of life, which one is very anxious to restore. In place of the original purely pop instrumental part (inserts), Dimash included (after the last chorus) his vocalize, a stylized onomatopoeic (like a lament) eastern ornament and the words "дай мне, дай" (give me, give me) with a 23-second melismatic on the last syllable, which is not a simple substitute for a pop musical theme, but an extension of the story sung earlier in words. ❤️🎤🔝🌹🌹👏👏👏

Dimash is a great artist and works hard every day to improve his skills. So he deserves all the attention he can get. But please, please if you’re reacting to a video, look at his TH-cam channel first to see if you can find a song you want to react to. They are all in high quality and most have subtitles in English and other languages as well. There are few exceptions of very good videos that are not on his channel, but please take the efford to look at his channel first.
And If possible, always watch the videos to the end. Very often there are interesting things to learn about him.
Either there’s something to laugh about or he’s talking to his audience. He always thanks his musicians. He is incredibly humble and never acts like a star. When he is praised, he constantly says that it is thanks to his teachers and his parents, who made it all possible for him. He’s just incredible.

It is in his native Kazakh and if I am not mistaken the song is about a father whose daughter dies before she is able to marry etc. I believe it was either written by or about the daughter of one of his mentors who sadly caught covid and passed away. In this version, it is his back up singer Zarina playing the piano and just Dimash singing. At the end she disappears as if she was the daughter. It is sad but it is done so beautifully.
