Another thing adding to this that you forgot to mention is how In the stage room of fawful theater there is a shroob sitting there
They kept this in the remake as well furthering the likelihood

Nintendo are the ones with the copyright for the mario and luigi ip, alphadream only helped with the development of the games, if good ol' nintendo wanted, they could make a remake of "brothers in time", they could buy alphadream (tho that could be a RARE thing for them to do), or, probably, bring them back in another mario game
Mars's Channel Yeah, people are pretty greedy, but it’d be quite beneficial if they do, they could be earning money from it.
But then again, the last game they made, which was +Bowser Jr’s Journey had surprisingly less copies sold than any other one. It’s quite inconceivable since it is the remake of the best rated and best selling game in the series (Also my favourite)

Maybe alpha dream is faking the bankruptcy to make fans loose hope and in 2020 alpha dream says they are owned by Nintendo revealing Mario and luigi return of the shroobs
They actually had plans for more Mario and Luigi games so it's not a surprise, they made the games so there are clues in them

Why can’t Nintendo just do it themselves? They own the characters, and even if alphadream did really go bankrupt, wouldn’t Nintendo still have the plans for where the story was headed?
They confirmed they skipped a PiT remake because they thought controlling 4 characters at once would be difficult for some people. This is also the reason they gave for cutting Paper Luigi from Paper Jam. Also for the Fawful Guy stuff, it’s probably just reused assets.

I think that what was planned for Mario & Luigi RPG 6 was the return of the Shroobs and the reason Alpha Dream skipped the remake for PiT was because they planned a new story about the Shroobs in the present and on the Nintendo Switch,why if you ask? Well,I've seen some videos and read online that last year Alpha Dream was hiring 3D and 2D programmers (or something like that) and that FINALLY they were going to make the jump to the Switch, although, it seems like we might not see the grand finale of the Mario and Luigi series since Alpha Dream declared themselves in bankruptcy, hopefully Nintendo can bail them out or something cause I've been hoping to see the Shroobs once again, cause they were such great story material

Partners In Time is by far my favorite Mario & Luigi game.
I hope that we get a Partners in Time remake. If the Mario and Luigi series is dead I will be extremely disappointed. We need some sort of Mario RPG.

SlyPurpleGuy they filed for bankruptcy. That doesn’t mean everything is over. They have yet to release their PLANS apparently so don’t lose hope just yet

The Shroobs were also in Mario & Luigi Dream Team. There were actually multiple pictures of the Shroobs on the at the place were you do the puzzle mini game and one picture of the shroobs in the castle.

You forgot to mention how in Bowsers inside story you can see a Shroob in the back row of Fawfuls theater before you melt the ever ice

Wow. Wow. The timing of this video’s is just mind-boggling. I don’t think I’ve ever seen something age so devastatingly so fast. Except some of the comments and videos giving the Grinch leak their stamp of approval. Even that wasn’t quite as ironic as this though. If this was even a month ago, it would be fine, but this was what, two weeks before Alphadream announced their bankruptcy plans? This is irony gold right here.

I believe they didn’t remake partners is because they have something much bigger planned for them then just a remake and a side quest but more like a sequel
Edit: even though alpha dream went bankrupt, I feel like some of the workers went over to Nintendo (like how telltale workers went to sky bound) and that they will still be working on this sequel
Well they were working on a new game, but said it wouldn't be completed. Anoter reason for skipping Partners in Time were the sales, since partners in time did a little bit worse than Bowser's Inside Story they thought betting on the other one would be safer. Of course, it could've been better if the remake was done for the switch and not a dead console

Shroob Castle scared me as a kid. Then I realized that's it's Peach's Castle but Shroobified. So I turned my DS's volume all the way down. Then, I went to my phone, and found a rip of tge Peach's Castle Theme and played that in the background.

God... the most nostalgic game for me cause i remember how I loved the junior shrooboid and how the 6 year old me trying to beat the swiggler in front of the animal shop before the power of the DS dies...
so the junior shrooboid and the swiggler are my most nostalgic enimies. The swiggler because it was the most stressig fight for the 6 year old me that i can remember and the junior shrooboid because i always was fascinated i was when i saw him in the fluid tank... and because he's the beginning of all my nostalgia!
If we get a new Mario game, what if nintendo acts like they're making a new Mario & Luigi sequel, and then we see the melted shroobs. instead of sticking around, however, we see them get into UFOs and open a portal to the Mario: oddessy dimension, and start setting up M:O2.
The shroobs will swear revenge, travel back in time and attempt to invade the mushroom kingdom of the past - completing the time loop!
we need the shroobs back, they literally need to come back, they marked a big temporary moment, and now, they need their revenge

No the shroobs are likely never coming back. People don't seem to really realize that the Mario & Luigi games were made by AlphaDream, which was a 3rd party (or I guess more like 2nd party?) company that worked with Nintendo. The Mario & Luigi games are completely unrelated to the main Mario series other than having the same characters and everything, so anything original that shows up in those games will likely never return outside of the series itself... and now that AlphaDream went bankrupt and no longer exists, that's not going to happen. And the shroobs are definitely not coming back, let alone in a mainline Mario game, anytime soon.
That's not even taking into account the fact that Miyamoto, the director of the mainline Mario games, has a bias against storytelling and focuses all of his attention towards a gameplay first mindset... something the Shroobs wouldn't have any part in, as they came from a very story-driven series.
IF ONLY but now.....things are looking very VERY bleak unless Nintendo buys Alphadream

Yeah i like how nintendo touch some space stuff that almost make them lovecraftian metroid destroy an invasive parasites. Starfox cibernatic race that spread like an infection. The shroops intergalatic invaders. Pokemon the unkown extra dimensional creatures i wont be surprise if they make an alien pokemon. All i can say is that space infinate with so many possibilties that make it terrifying yet beautiful.

In the original Mario & Luigi Bowsers Inside Story in the theatre area in Bowsers Castle. Somewhere in the right are of the Theatre, you can see a shroob on the last set of chairs and when you talk to him, he only says three dots and nothing else. So one is still out there in the wild.
I hope the Shroom become a normal enemy so there is more than just Bowser.

I have a feeling Alpha had plans to continue the Shroobs storyline or remake PiT for the Switch (since that game, besides SS, doesn’t utilize the touch screen for 99% of the game) before they went to bankruptcy
It sucks because even if Nintendo does continue the M&L games, I feel like they’ll drop the pre-established continuity and lore of the M&L universe and just make separate storylines that don’t relate to each other anymore, sorta like what they did to PM
bowser ate the elder princess mushroom, thus because they are mushrooms, they could multiply in his body
You can find them at the beginning of BiS too, when you first arrive in Bowsers Castle. There is one sitting in the theater

Was it because of sales of Partners in Time? I think it’s just a cute reference that doesn’t actually mean we’ll get a sequel to that game, as much as I would love a return of the Shroobs. I think it’s coincidental that they put that little battle in BIS and it’s remake, so I don’t think we’ll see the Shroob race at all in the future. I mean, we don’t even see the younger Toadsworth for what? Almost 20 years? It’s been almost 20 years since this game came out!

I've have a theory on why Princess Shroob and Elder Shroob are alive in the ever-ice they are from timeline A where the time machine was not invented yet I think the Mushroom Kingdom and Bowser's Kingdom tricked the shroobs going into the ever-ice and that is how they where defeated originally.
