A lot of work Lorne, enjoyed watching thank you.
Thanks Chris, I watched the weather report....I think the weather presenters everywhere have picked up the theme...when we were younger the TV weather was presented on a chalkboard with the patterns drawn on and explained as we watched. The last man standing for that method was in Edmonton, Alberta about 1995...
The bolt that comes out the end of the cam sprocket is used to attached the sprocket to that bracket. The idea is so you can disconnect the cam sprocket from the cam shaft so you can remove the camshaft without the danger of dropping the timing chain and sprocket into the engine when you need to remove the cam shaft as part of sorting out the pallet shims for the tappet to cam shaft tolerance work I believe :) Thanks for the video, reminded me of when I had mine apart sorting out the tappet to camshaft tolerance :)
Thanks Adrian, now that you have explained it, it makes sense...I did not remember anything there when I dismantled it all, but I was more interested in the damage farther down the Camshaft at that time.
@@batgclassics No worries Lorne, and thank you for taking time to shoot the video! And incidentally, you look like you live in my idea of paradise with a giant garage and a beach nearby, top stuff, well done!
@@adrianhughes2163 Thanks Adrian, Yup I am lucky to have a small piece of paradise...Winter time ...not so much...all other seasons are great...
@@batgclassics Well earned I am sure :) Looking forward to the next episode on the engine build :)
