I dont mean to be off topic but does anyone know a way to log back into an Instagram account? I stupidly forgot the password. I would love any help you can give me!
Thanks Chuck .I carry some of those patterns. It is amazing how the simple patterns produce so well. For me flies with the least amount of steps the better.
Solid selection. Love the quills for bwos as well. You mentioned the key word, “confidence”, hate to admit it, but when all else fails I’m going squirmy/ San Juan. Never too proud to use it, but rather they take my other offerings, but when all else fails...
Hey man, I use whatever they are eating too. haha These are just my confidence flies and the ones I find I have the most success on. Definitely use what is most successful for you though or are your confidence flies.
I use the stonefly pattern a lot as well. I always have perdigon in the box but need to use it more. The green blowtorch looks great. Any...yes to the Olive Quill ! Great tips ! I can't wait for spring fishing !!
Awesome man! Sounds like you're all set if you're carrying all 5 of these... lol Just use whatever you have confidence in and you'll catch the most fish to be honest. These are just my favorites.
this is so helpful - thanks Chuck! I've been in CA for a few years and just dusted all my fly fishing stuff off and back at it in PA. Started in the Fall so this is my first Spring in a while. Going to start making some of these. Very helpful! I owe you a Troegs Beer.
Nice flies. I have a black version with copper bead with a Uv black color almost has a purple hue to it kills when little black stones are coming out in spring
I love watching your videos. Whenever you go on a river, would you give us an idea of which river you are fishing. I wouldn't ask for specific spots, but a little hint will help ;)
Thank you! My one hint/tip would be to not over think it. I'm almost certain the same streams you're fishing or know of are the streams I'm also fishing.
So the point fly would be the anchor or bottom most fly, furthest away from the rod tip. Only approved trout waters which are stocked trout streams are closed. Any streams that has wild trout and isn't stocked is still open for fishing. 👍
Love the video brotha! Do you find yourself varying the bead size a lot for the Sz 16 pt’s or is there a size you find yourself throwing on more often?
Thanks man! I don't vary the bead size just because I like being able to adjust weight using the size if the nymph. This is what I use: 18s - 2.3mm 16s - 2.8mm 14s - 3.3mm 12/10s - 3.8mm 10/8s - 4.6mm
I actually have more copper beaded flies than silver, but I find copper and silver to be most productive. I only use copper, silver, black nickel and gold.
@@Brownsylvania thank you I too utilize copper as my go to , and have generalized as copper for bright sun, black for spooky fish, and silver for low light conditions. I know this is not finite but a good rule of thumb. Thanx again

PS, the opening guitar riff sounded so close to Joe Walsh’s “life of illusion”, which might have worked instrumental style.
Keep ‘em coming.
Want congrats for very well presented and explained 👏
Terrific overview of your favorite nymphs for spring! Great job!

I meant more in the line of... NEPA, or more Central PA..the scenery caught my eye and had me curious
Oh. I mean I fish all over PA, literally.
Good stuff, man.
Thank you!
Good looking fly’s 🍺
Thanks CP!
Nice!
Thanks!
Just stumbled onto your channel. Great content!
Thank you! Glad you enjoy the content.
Thank you! Do you have a tutorial for the blue wing olive jig fly you talked about? It’s a quill body I think.
Yup. Right here. Just swap the bead for a silver bead and the dubbing for black peacock ice dub. th-cam.com/video/vo8rsKYtb1Q/w-d-xo.html
Thank You
Good stuff brother
Thank you!
Nice job!!
Thank you!
That little olive quill bwo you ty,what did you use for your thorax
That would be black peacock ice dub.
Very nice flies! What hooks do you use?
Thank you! I use Orientsun hooks. The jig hooks are 5241's which are exclusive on tacticalflyfisher.com
Good reviews. When you say point fly do you mean the one closest to the rod? Isn’t the season closed in mid March isn’t the season “closed”?? Thanks
So the point fly would be the anchor or bottom most fly, furthest away from the rod tip.
Only approved trout waters which are stocked trout streams are closed. Any streams that has wild trout and isn't stocked is still open for fishing. 👍
Would you mind recommending a wild trout stream or 2 in eastern Pennsylvania 😀
Do you have any strong thoughts on a hares ear?
Hope the ole trusty would be #6. Great lineup though.
haha Ol' Trusty is probably top 10 for sure.

@@Brownsylvania thanks man! I think sometimes I over complicate that part of it. Love the flies. Best of luck this spring brotha!
No worries man. I used to over think it too. Have a great spring season as well man!
Tried to find your “Stoned Fly” on Etsy to purchase some but could not find it. Is it available to buy on Etsy?
I am not selling them on Etsy at this time. Sorry.
@@Brownsylvania okay. Thanks for responding. Appreciate it. Really enjoy your videos. Keep them coming!
I noticed that most of your flies have a silver bead, my question is do you ever change bead colors ?
I actually have more copper beaded flies than silver, but I find copper and silver to be most productive. I only use copper, silver, black nickel and gold.

Yeah I think that's a good rule of thumb. You're welcome!
So these flys will work on more shallow creeks too?
Yeah these flies would work almost anywhere I would assume.
