  • Krik of Black Owl Outdoors gives and overview of the ESEE Zancudo, an EDC folding knife option. Designed by the guys over at ESEE, the Zancudo is similar to the size and quality of the Ontario RAT 2 yet has subtle changes that make it stand on its own.

    The Zancudo is really a very good folding knife.
    I bought it in the spring of 2014.
    Your video helped convince me.
    For small uses it is perfect.
    Its opening is dynamic.
    Its cutting edge is effective.
    As Urban E.D.C is ideal.
    I always have a swiss army knife.
    But the Zancudo complements it very well for its blade.
    I also own the Rat-1. But I find it too big.
    Good continuation for your videos.

    Almost bought this a while back, but got the Leatherman Crater instead. So many great low price EDC blades around right now.

    Would you happen to know what angle to sharpen the blade on the Zancudo?

    Thank you for the video. Very helpful to me. I think it will make a great carry knife in an office environment. Thin, light and perfect sized blade. Right now my office knife is the Kershaw Rainbow Leek. That knife is almost too pretty to use... almost.

    I'm thinking about exchanging my Spyderco go an esee. My Spyderco is just a little too big for me.

    Gentlemen. I am a big fan of your reviews, outings, and especially, your camera work. I have a question, which you may have answered before. What type of camera do your use for your videos? The clarity and detail is amazing. Please keep up the good work and looking forward to your next post. Thanks for the time...

      Never worn a pair. I do have a pair of Tevas that I like a lot. Thanks for the suggestion. -Krik

      @siblilngs101 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Or perhaps a comparison of the two. I've heard a lot of good things about Teva. The sole seems a little thin to me but I'm sure they're just as good.

    Do you prefer the zancudo or the rat 2. Which is better in your opinion?

    • @BlackOwlOutdoors
      @BlackOwlOutdoors  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      victor black krik uses the rat 2. i use the zancudo. to me it's 6 in one hand a half dozen in the other. quality is the same. steel is the same. just slight differences in aesthetics. neither is a bad choice. - stony
