WHY NO GEL OR SHELLAC?
While it has the convenience factor of curing quickly, I find they don't last much longer than my regular polish manicures due to how fast my nails grow. In addition, it takes a lot longer to remove and the removal process is quite harsh on my nails + the surrounding skin. The only times I get gel nails are when it's required for a special type of nail art, like the glitter nails I got in Las Vegas a couple of years ago (pic on my insta).
