To our newcomers, welcome, to the old Tigers welcome back. This review ended up really being long, for one review, so we have split it into two sections, the second part, in my opinion, the most important part . The sound will be following shortly. Let’s smash 1000 views before the next one goes up, share if you have a mind Music tracks used in this video music.apple.com/gb/album/bliss/3654964?i=3654712 music.apple.com/gb/album/bliss/3654964?i=3654712 music.apple.com/gb/album/bliss/3654964?i=3654712 music.apple.com/gb/album/bliss/3654964?i=3654712
Wow great review… truly this is a fantastic step forward for HP amplification. Just like formula 1 this will trickle down into mainstream products a few years from now and we all win.

I am reviewing this unit again because may - dave or a bottleneck if you can believe it I’m running it with wave dream signature at the moment and it’s twice the amplifier it was during this review AIC review is completed. Red October is completed. They will be out next month, is more tonally dense smaller stage. This is far more reference and linear and less impact. AIC suite and with share authority but speed and resolution HM One takes it Especially with signature, it’s mental
@@tonyd9998 I think for most people AIC mate, it works better with DAC synergy, and has far more headroom for gain. I would go for this one unless you want true reference and resolution and speed. HM One made me cancel my AIC order but I am buying Red October so I’m balancing it out. But if you can only have one definitely go for AIC what the AC do you have, what type of music do you listen to?
@@ConvinceMeAudio This year I have been kind of on a "Susvara" journey. Once I settled on Susvara as my main HP (ab1266 my second) I have been down the rabbit hole with AMPS. I just received my AIC and have been doing my critical listening tracks. I was especially interested as its a hybrid tube amp. Anyway, I'm paring with the Lina DAC.and Im finding some tracks (Diana Krall) for example the vocals at times seem strained? Fringie distortion in my words....and I was surprised . I also have the new prelude (you know the price point difference) and believe it or not did not get that on the same tracks. I lowered the voltage to 2v from 6 as it thought that was why. You kind of touched on it, lower Voltage and step down the volume its better.....but 18K vs 2500 with prelude ? Im guess I was trying to land at the end game amp once and for all but disappointed I may not have. Red October, WA 33 and Viva Egoista are now on my radar if I don't decide to keep the AIC.....love your stuff, willingness to respond and help and your love for the Hobby, pleasure watching you
