Stolas voice cracking at the line “I didn’t realize you think so low of me” was real stab to the heart, not just to me but to Blitz too as he immediately regrets his outburst 😭😭😭
*It Really took A LOT of Courage for Stolas to reveal his true Feelings when Blitz (A**Whole & D***) thought it was ForePlay.* *Good Job Stolas, you did the right thing.*
Stolas and Blitz both fucked up here. This is the closest they've gotten to talking about their feelings, but they're still not really listening to each other or seeing the other's perspective. Blitz refuses to believe Stolas could actually love him, and Stolas has yet to fully apologize for making Blitz feel used.
I think Stolas was very clear on how using Blitzo in this transaction was wrong.. but you’re right. Stolas didn’t listen to Blitz properly because he was too trapped in his own issues of self-loathing. He took Blitz’s reaction as rejection outright instead of giving him time to process the situation and think it through, which should be expected considering he’s asking for a change in their relationship.
Still, the fact that Stolas admitting to Blitz that their arrangement was wrong in the first place and that he wants to make things right is a step in the right direction for him. He might not have apologized to Blitz but I think that if Blitz hadn't made that outburst, Stolas might have eventually said that he was sorry.
I think another reason Stolas was hurt because when he told Blitzo he will give him the crystal and that he didn’t have to see him anymore, Blitzo didn’t take it seriously but when Stolas initially said he’s going to take the book away, Blitzo took that seriously. So that further cemented into his mind he only truly cared about the book and not him
I mean, as far as he was aware, that book was the only thing keeping his livelihood together. If he lost IMP, then what would happen to him? To Loona, Moxxie and Millie? Blitzo had every reason to be concerned. He has a daughter to provide for and he thought he was about to lose out on his ability to do so
@@tonberry2670 I’m not saying that’s not a valid reason, I’m saying that because Blitzo took that seriously but not taking Stolas seriously, thinking it was role play, probably hurt Stolas and caused him to believe that Blitzo didn’t care about him
@@taylorlipinski4048 To be fair he mentioned the book first and THEN gave the crystal. Around your implication, Blitz could have just said "okay as long as I get access to the human world still, fine by me." and dipped. But he didn't. instead, he kept asking questions, looked shocked when Stolas said he's free, and still stuck around. Don't get me wrong, I belive both are in the wrong as well, but this showed that Blitz does care for Stolas. Hell, even when he got hurt Blitz was beating himself over it. He didn't say it, but it was definitely implied.
Not entirely true cause Stolas was very clear that the crystal would give him legal access to earth and he doesn't need the book anymore, either way all Blitz needed was a way to get to earth. The actual problem is Blitz always wants to see himself as a helpless victim. This whole thing started in the pilot and later in the series was because he kept trying to steal from him and want to conveniently blame royals for his issues as an excuse. He wants to make Stolas out as a bad guy but he never even noticed how Stolas never went after anyone else or was shown that other imps slept with him, it was always Blitzo. He always tries to put his best foot forward for Blitzo and they've known each other since they were kids. The deal may not have been ideal but Blitz isn't blameless in any regard and now that Stolas offered him a way out without consequence he wants to complain making his truth serum trip all the more true that Blitz is nothing but trash. He doesn't want to admit he was always the bad guy in this deal.
@@andresiathechannel7988he was right, but he can’t get his feelings across while screaming like that. When someone is talking to you the way that Blitz was talking to Stolas, at that point you have the right to show them the door. It’s hard to communicate effectively when tensions are high like that.
@@lowkeyemo6340 this would be all fine and dandy if stolas did not do the things he did to deserve such a treatment, which blitzo rightfully calls him out on (and has done so once prior). the writers may have bent over backwards to frame him as a sympathetic victim, but i just don’t buy it
“Give me a minute!” No one is talking about this line and I honestly think he’s raging and shouting because stolas kept cutting him off during the bedroom scene. Like the whole of Blizo’s speech is really emotional and you can tell he feels like he’s being pushed away.
That’s kinda what sticks out to me too. Even though it’s clear they’re both in the wrong, it’s kinda why Blitzø’s side of this speaks to me more. Stolas just sorta sprung this onto him without giving him time and space to think about his decision or talk it out.
Around 3:35, Blitzø yells at stolas in an attempt to make himself seem bigger and hide his insecurities (amongst other angsty things). At the same time on screen he is physically hunched over while stolas is standing upright and tall, making their height difference even more obvious to the viewer and symbolizing the imbalanced power dynamic they have from his point of view. UGH I COULD TALK ABOUT THIS SCENE FOR HOURS 😭😭
This is the purest kind of relationship status quo Stolas had to rip the bandaid off In Look my Way he said if its not you then its me but the reality of it all blitz it to broken to be loved hence he thinks he’ll die alone with no one by his side witch is why hes so fixated on Millie and Moxie they have what he longs for love but he cant understand that (Granted they are in hell but that doesn’t mean they dont have feelings)
@@snoopyseungwoo9565but Its a start, you can say Sorry isn't enough If Its Just a Sorry, but If the person continues after that through both words and actions Its a gate to fixing things
“ BECAUSE WE'RE SMALLER AND NOT AS IMPORTANT! ", "Blitz, I think so very highly of you. I didn't realise you think so low of me. " I was crying my heart out 😭
@@LyssaJo-dw3mx I was so proud of him! There was no room for misinterpretation. Nothing was vague. He put every card on the table because he knew it was more important for Blitz to have a choice than for Stolas to have his pride. He was direct, concrete, and reaffirming. It probably would have helped if he didn’t give Blitz an anxiety attack in the first couple minutes though. I needed a nap after all the whiplash
@nervousbreakdown711 honestly, ive wondered the same. Would the conversation have gone better if Stolas had *started* with the Asmodean crystal? That way, he wouldnt be in such a panic over his entire business being ruined initially. I mean hell, i think it even put in his mind that he may not be good enough for Stolas anymore (especially considering the conversation he had with Loona at the beginning)
Even after that. He thought the stuff about the crystal was too good to be true at first, like Stolas was giving him snake oil just to get him out of there without resistance. It wasn't until Stolas left the room that it really clicked he was being sincere.
The sole fact that Blitz was arguing about the arrangement ending even though he got a crystal just proves that the book isn't really his main priority. He started freaking out a lot after Stolas said he had no obligation to see or touch or bed him. The thing is Blitz needs that obligation so he doesn't feel as if he's attached, because whenever he got attached to someone in a romantic way (or in Barbie wire's case just familial) it's ended up bad so he believes it's him, and then Stolas' life with crumble. He's so desperate for a realationship and to feel loved he ends up pushing those feelings away because he's scared
Actually, I think Blitz thought the crystal was a trick. It sounded way too good to be true in his mind. It's only after that when he realizes Stolas cares, and thinks maybe he could have something good here.
The fact that even if given the chance to have the asmodeuan crystal he still wants the arrangement. He’s so desperate and the fact that he continues to say that he can do better is so sad. 1:15
It's because he doesn't believe what Stolas is saying about the crystal. He initially thinks Stolas is scamming him to cast him aside now that he's bored.
@@jonquilgemstone I mean, no? Blitz has seen these crystals before, heck he even used one in Unhappy Campers. He’s worried because he thinks that Stolas is tired from dealing with him
@@jonquilgemstone He may see it as Stolas giving him away to Ozzie. He hired Blitz to guard Fizz and got along well with him. Plus, Blitz thinks he loves Stolas one sidedly, and Stolas doesn't care since he's not lusting after him anymore
@@SimplyIwon not only that, but i feel like it was a bad move to start with basically demanding the book back. I feel like that really put Blitzø on the defensive from the get go
Can we just talk about the symbolism in this episode? The way they split in the very room where they became somewhat like friends as children, and Stolas placing the grimoir between a book about botanic and pirates, like it was the only thing that sort of connected the two over the years. Like, it hurts so much😭
I think that people forget that Stolas has depression and wasn't "stable" when he talked to Blitz. In the song we see that he doesn't have his medicine anymore and that he was spiraling. I understand that Stolas should have allowed Blitz to think but I feel that we forget that Blitz suffering has been loud while Stolas suffers in silence. Stolas was abused and neglected just like Blitz but is trying to move on and grow and yeah growing isn't perfect and you wont always get it right but when Stolas saw Blitz indirectly mock him like Stella used to he just shut down. He just couldn't bare the thought of being mocked for how he feels so of course he runs away. He did that with Stella and with his dad too. Stolas suffers alone and prefer not to burden others in his suffering. Also narrativly this is told through Blitz eyes and we do not see Stolas perspective unless its related to Blitzo in some way or another. Stolas does need to apologize to Blitz for how he treated him in the beginning but I also think that we forget that Blitz was also a dick to Stolas too. Yeah Stolas is a prince and has more power but Blitz also made it seem that Stolas and his feelings didn't matter because Blitz is the only one who could truly suffer.
The opposite is true too, though. They are both equally to blame. I'm honestly sick and tired of people blaming _everything_ on Blitz. Those kinds of people need to watch the show again and _truly_ start to understand Blitz. 'Cause I feel like they don't understand him at all.
@@hannahmetzger4880 I agree with you they are both to blame. The point I was making is that Stolas is just as valid as Blitz to act the way he did. They both have issues they need to work on by themselves before they can be together in any way. They both need to fight for each other and be on the same page as well.
Another thing to take into account is that Stolas was also off his antidepressants during this conversation. That especially can cloud your judgement when pouring your heart out to someone. Doesn’t change the fact that he was in the wrong too but definitely explains his actions
@@LyssaJo-dw3mx Exactly. I just feel that people dismiss Stolas a lot because of the fact we don’t see all his moments nor do we see his feelings unless its Blitzo experiencing sometime of issue with Stolas. Narratively this story is told through Blitz and his suffering/character development. Meanwhile Stolas suffering is told subtle and it relies on the viewer to make connections based on the scenes hes in and some of the dialogue Stolas has. In the end of the day these two need to both want to get better. Stolas has started his journey to get better so not Blitz needs to want to change too.
Notice that stolas is no longer using blitzes bet name “Blitzy” Stolas is saying “Blitz” beacuse he respected him and didnt want to take the next step in there relationship
Ikr?? You could feel the pain and anger in his voice! I was impressed with his performance in OOPS but i think this might be one of his best performances so far
@@LyssaJo-dw3mx Yeah, it was incredible! Oooh what about from episode 7-8? At the end when he saw a picture of his mother and Blitz started sobbing. That was powerful!
@@katherinedonovan974 Ooh, that was also a great performance! Though i think the performance that stood out to me in those episodes was when he was talking to Stolas after they left Ozzie’s. You can hear him try not to cry as he talks which i think is incredible!
Obviously Blitz’s insecurities got the best of him but honestly so did Stolas’ I would say. The moment Blitz assumes it’s foreplay Stolas immediately gives into the voice that tells him he’s not enough instead of just calmly restating his feelings and giving Blitz a proper chance to think about this. And Blitz’s foreplay bit also probably reminds Stolas that he might be naive and that he allowed the relationship to exist as only a transactional sexual thing for so long and at times enabled it as such that he’s made it impossible for Blitz to see him as anything but a monster enslaving lower beings for his own pleasure. So in the end Stolas is feeling not just the pain of heartbreak but the realization he is a monster
So did Stolas. Stolas refused to listen and after Blitzø thought it was a roleplay. Like, Stolas, buddy, YOU MADE IT ABOUT SEX!! Stolas, in an attempt to match Blitzø’s energy, made sex the only thing he talked about with Blitzø until the very last second after Ozzie’s. He can’t act like it was all Blitzø when he was an active participant. And when Blitzø finally opened up about how he saw their relationship Stolas turned him away. I know that must’ve been a heartbreaking thing to hear, but he started this conversation and he should’ve been prepared to sit down and hear him out. Blitzø ain’t perfect, but we can’t give Stolas the benefit of the doubt because he got his feelings hurt.
@@ItzMuffinzzFINALLY, SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY FUCKING _GETS IT!!!_ I am _SO SICK AND TIRED_ of people blaming _EVERYTHING_ in their relationship SOLELY ON BLITZ. I mean I like Stolas a lot too, but I mean, _COME OOOONNN, PEOPLE!!!_
@@hannahmetzger4880 oddly enough, and I’m not saying that people haven’t been pinning a lot of stuff on Blitzø, I’ve more seen people pin all of what’s happened on Stolas, and never giving Blitzø any blame. What I do think though, is that ppl REALLY need to have some media literacy to understand Stolas and Blitzø’s dynamic, but since that’s mostly nonexistent, people have been taking sides, when there are no sides to take. Both of them fucked up BADLY with this despite deeply caring about each other, and due to trauma, are reacting in very different ways. With Blitzø, he’s so accustomed and used to just being manipulated and used by his father, and those around him, to the point where he’s completely locked away how he feels, and began to use other people to cope. And when he gets attached, and they start to pull away, or when he thinks they’re too close, he grows aggressive, and pushes them away further, since he’s become so accustomed to nobody genuinely caring about him. He can’t comprehend that Stolas, a *Goetia Prince*, would care about him. He only had sex with him at first to get the grimoire for his business. Blitzø feels he is unwanted by everyone in his life, evident by how he treats physical photographs, where he only highlights those he cares about in his life. His aggressive outburst towards Stolas, while not unwarranted and understandable to the sudden true emotions put out to him, something he *cannot* comprehend someone feeling towards him, is also what I’m about to get into with this dumb analysis. He genuinely feels like he’s being used, and he’s being overwhelmed with the fact that he is loved, but by someone who he feels used by. Blitzø feels deeply lonely, and repulsed by who he is. Constantly he’s mentally reminded of everyone he’s hurt, intentional or not, in his past. And because of that, he never lets anyone past the walls he’s built to keep himself safe as a response to childhood trauma and loss. Stolas, however, is an interesting case. In a sense, like Blitzø, Stolas is also lonely, from familial neglect by his father, King Paimon, to even never having friends outside of the butler that primarily took care of him as a child. When he first met Blitzø, as a child, he was *enthralled*, not because he was an imp, but because he was full of joy. Happiness he didn’t have. He liked Blitzø then as his friend because they were children, not yet affected by the cruelty of adulthood. But by the time Stolas reached adulthood, he’s trapped. Trapped in an emotional, physical and (albeit implied) sexually abusive marriage with Stella, where he is the victim. This could also be because Stolas, in real demonology, is noted by multiple sources for being pacifistic, at least compared to other demons like Andras (who, in the Ars Goetia, is considered to be the most dangerous). Stolas is accustomed at this point to being hurt, and in response, isolates himself from everyone he loves. Stolas also *deeply* loathes himself similarly to Blitzø (as seen by how the only things he makes visible in the covered up portraits, is the only other person he cares for in his life, that being Octavia), and his only purpose to Stella is to make her richer. And, yes, the way he showed affection to Blitzø that wasn’t sexual, was patronizing. I won’t deny that. But given more insight into his past, it’s possible he doesn’t really know how to show affection to Blitzø in any other way. Stolas longs for affection, but as he’s learned with Blitzø, he needs to LET people choose if they want to stay with him. He’s sheltered and likely doesn’t fully understand how to properly socialize, and as such, does spread sentiments of classism he doesn’t even notice. What happened at Ozzie’s, real quick, he did not hide his face from Blitzø because he only saw this as lust. He hid his face from Blitzø because he was ashamed of himself. Asmodeus exposed this affair, and brought up *Octavia* in the midst of it. The last thing Stolas wants, as seen, is for Octavia to be hurt by his actions. He hates that he’s hurt not only Octavia, but also Blitzø. So, with the crystal, he sees it as his attempt to make amends for making their relationship feel transactional, and to show how he wants to deepen, and establish his love for Blitzø. Both of them hold each other higher above their own selves. But the moment Blitzø thought it wasn’t real, was what made Stolas think that…this wasn’t serious to Blitzø. And in response, begins to isolate himself. And Blitzø screaming at him in his emotion-fueled rant and kicking down doors, visibly causes Stolas’s trauma from domestic violence, resurface. He fucking *flinches* very visibly when Blitzø screams, “WELL I’M NOT LETTING YOU, *BITCH*.” This seals, in his mind, that Blitzø views him the way others already do. As a lowly, pathetic man. His status as a Prince has caused a large gap in their relationship due to their completely separate lives, something that he WANTS to fix, but now, to him, the damage has been done. And he shuts out Blitzø for good. What I’m really getting at is, both of them, products of very different forms of abuse in drastically different conditions, respond very differently. And due to their miscommunications, they’ve made each other suffer. Stolas by shutting him out and by making this all seem that it’s only transactional, and Blitzø by actively pushing him away the *moment* he feels he isn’t truly loved. Edit: why Blitzø’s section is shorter is primarily because of how little we know about his background as of now.
@mememologies7363 Hey, sorry it's taken me so long to respond. That's a very good analysis, and I agree!! _They both fucked up._ :3. So, I guess with me at least, the understanding of media literacy isn't _entirely_ dead, LOL. 😂.
@@hannahmetzger4880 Thank you. This analysis is something I’ve been building since The Harvest Moon Festival, and I’ve been updating it with almost each episode. And yeah, media literacy is on life support, and I’ve learned that I hate Twitter, a lot.
This episode destroyed me in the best way, I knew it was going to end like this, but I didn't expect it to be SO REALISTIC! These two are a clear example of "they could work and there is love there but they have to get their shit together first, someone please give them a therapist and better communication methods". It was obvious that Blitz was going to think that Stolas's confession was not true, he can't believe that someone could love him for him, who would? self-esteem issues, and it was obvious that Stolas would shut down and not listen after what Blitz said, after all why would Blitz have feelings for him? He always ruins everything, he expects rejection but not the mockery. They were both raised in toxic environments and react very differently to conflict. Blitz in a discussion is aggressive, defensive, fighting, shouting, insulting, it's the type of "discussions" that he is accustomed to, always being belittled, he will not allow himself to be insulted without fighting. Stolas on the other hand closes himself out, remains silent, in control of his movement, he was always humiliated/insulted, he learned to take the pain and "run away" to not be hurt anymore and the situation doesn't escalate. But they don't know this about each other, if they knew what topics/words "hurt them" they wouldn't do it, here they did it because they don't know each other, they don't know about each other's pains, pasts, likes, fears, etc. .. because they only had a physical relationship that later feelings began to blossom beyond sex. They started like this, they hurt each other unintentionally, and they don't KNOW how to communicate because of their own shit, How can you not think that the other was not sincere if you never expected more from each other? In this scene it was unfortunately an expected bomb that was ready to explode in their faces, time apart is better to think with a cool head, heal, and maybe try again after a while, clarify what they want and talk, just talk with an open heart, no walls, no evasion, no assumptions, no closing doors, no anger, just conversation. This is going to be a painful road for these two...
the fact you can notice that Blitzø in the end was about to say "I'm sorry" when Stolas teleported him out, you can hear "Stolas, I'm s-" is just like- WHYYYY!?!? 😭
“I can see how wrong it is to be so tethered to someone in such an unfair way and not know how they feel”. I think this is brilliant line because it applies to both parties. It applies to Stolas of course because he has no clue if Blitz likes him that way. Meanwhile, Blitz thinks that Stolas has him by the leash and is simply using him for sexual pleasure. In fact, the “unfair” part could probably apply more to Blitz because of the power dynamic between a Prince and a “lowly” imp.
But even the apology won't fix it ... the relationship, blitz hasn't realised the feelings yet , he needs to think to understand to love... and only time can fix it He needs to lose him to undrestand He needs to lose him to gain him back
It really shows how hurt Stolas was when you notice that his top pair of eyes were crying as well. I don’t think they’ve ever done that during previous times when he cried.
he just struggled to comprehend stolas having genuine feelings for him and panicked, barely realizing at the end and not really having the chance to process it.
It's not one sided, it's just that these 2 haven't been communicating with each other. This was the closest they've gotten to actually talking about their feelings but they're still not listening to each other.
Brandon and Bryce's voice delivery in this argument was right on point and I really felt for Stolas here because he's not just a sex toy for Blitz he really does love Biltz yet Blitz doesn't
0:24 you can tell he wanted to but he chose blitz over himself. Personally I feel like both pushed eachother away really since stolas just teleported blitz away when he tried to apologise
See now I’m crying a lot bc when he said I’m just gonna die alone I think he meant it Stolas x blitz will be in our hearts and mind rip stolas x blitz 😭😭😭
Stolas was spilling out his feelings and the facts and I feel bad for him since he wanted Blitzo to understand it and know what he meant but Instead Blitzo just did not understand at the very beginning when stolas said that blitzo was free of him that he does not need him anymore like damn that made me tear up a bit. AND THEN THIS SCENE MADE ME FU*KING CRY - 2:47 Also I did not expect blitzo to yell and have tears when he said "WHAT!?FU*K YOU STOLAS YOU SPREEDING FEELING BULLSH*T AT ME ARE YOU FU*KING KIDDING!? CAN I GET A FU*KING MINUTE TO THINK AFTER EVERYTHING YOU PUT ME THROUGH YOU POUS RICH ASSHOLE! TREAT ME LIKE ONE OF YOUR LITTLE BUTLER IMPS YOU CANT JUST DISMISS ME LIKE THAT I MEAN YOU ROYAL FU*KS CAN DO THIS EVERY TIME LIKE YOU CAN JUST PLAY WITH OUR FEELINGS BECAUSE WERE SMALLER AND NOT AS IMPORTANT WELL IM NOT LETTING YOU B*TCH LETS GO!" He clearly confessed to stolas what he feels treated like which made stolas tear up and I will not lie Stolas seems like he understood how he felt inside since Imps are mostly treated as weaklings around hell since they have no magic but instead of weapons like sinners. Meanwhile Goetias, Overlords, Seven deadly sins have powers and are more dangerous then Sinners , Imps or hellhounds infact. And I think Blitzo might actually hate the powered demons who are stronger and richer then sinners or imps and hellhounds since he did say that royals can play with their feelings all because their smaller and not as important. Which that is true in our reality we humans are also do the same exact thing and blitzo spilled out the truth and not only that but in episode Truth seekers S1 EP 6 We saw how blitzo was climbing on towards stolas on the stairs as the golden chains appeared on his wrists and neck at the end. Which also means Blitzo is scared of his soul being owned by stolas since he might thought he would play with his feelings not only because stolas is rich but by using him as a toy or puppet with his soul being owned by stolas like Valeninto does with Angel dust but in a different way or similar at least. But stolas does not seem to want that at all he just wants someone to care about him and treat him with love we all know stolas loves blitzo truly but blitzo does not seem interested in stolas talking about feelings out to him. Stolas does not want s*x only with blitzo in the relationship he wants like something like a disney princess wants : Men but with romantic affection who would gift them roses, Care and love them truly and treat them right. But blitzo he is..Yeah a dude who mostly seems to have only sexual affection through out the entire series but that does not mean he cannot show a romantic affection I suppose the reason why he thinks about s*x is because of stolas letting him have the Grimoire so he can keep his business running and was unware that stolas truly loves him.
I mean on Blitzø’s defense, that’s how it was with Stolas in the first place, a higher up who just wants to have sex with a imp. I mean, even though when there were moments where Stolas attempted to show actual affection and love. The way he did it was so out of nowhere in a way, like “why only now?”, I know that from the start Stolas did TRULY LOVED him, but he often showed it so vaguely. I mean like, I bet from the amount sex sessions they had of course…to Blitzø every time when Stolas showed admiration or attraction to him. The first thought that occurs to him is of course “he wants to fuck me”, and that’s how there situation really was in the first place, “a higher up using a lower one”. And that’s why Stolas wanted to end it, but…it was too late to change things. And hey, I am not saying the words that Blitzø said to Stolas was right in anyway, I am just trying to point out here on what he did was not excusable but it’s reasonable. I mean the same goes with Stolas of course, considering his abusive relationship with Stella I wouldn’t blame him for being upset. And his only first friend he had a crush on for years to insult him in a way that symbolises Stella it’s really sad. (This is my view of the argument in my perspective)
tbh when i heard blitz say he needed the book that made me feel like he said that because he meant he needed stolas. im not sure if thats what thag meant but i have a feeling that's what he meant.
Stolas gave already an Asmodeus crystal for him and literally said that Blitz doesn't need to come to him or do the things of that arrangement anymore. And Blitz just was scared after these words thinking like Stolas doesn't want to see him anymore. That's why the best way to avoid it was pretending that was just a game. Because he didn't believe that Stolas could really love him😢
That argue really broke my heart. And made me cry a little. I'm not mad. Just disappointed. 2:20 - 2:25, You're lying, Blitz. You're lying! That little thing he did. That's not true. *SOB*
Both of them were in the right for how they reacted though. Blitzo has been used and thrown away through his life, and as a result sabotages so many of his relationships thinking he’s undeserving of them. After everything he and stolas went through I don’t blame him for reacting the way he did. Stolas tried his best but the implications of their relationship are too grand. Both were valid in their reactions. Hopefully it doesn’t take them a whole season to talk it out 😅 I just wish the show wouldn’t paint it as if blitzo is the only one who fucked up lol.
Real talk though, Stolas needs to show more compassion towards other Imps and Hellhounds. The only one I’ve seen him show genuine kindness towards is to Blitz and only Blitz. He never bothered to thank Millie & Moxxie for rescuing him from Striker. Not to mention the utter disappointment towards them back at Loo Loo Land as well.
This hurts because they both really care about each other but they didn’t handle the communication right I hope they can sit down and have a long conversation and try to work things out
This isn't an argument. Stolas is communicating his feelings calmly and graciously. He's not contradicting Blitz or denying his perspective in any way. And Blitz is just throwing pre-conceived accusations at Stolas instead of challenging him on what he's actually saying. This isn't a "both sides are wrong" situation. Stolas is flawed, but he's sincerely trying to be a good partner. He deserves better than being yet another person's emotional punching bag.
Except Stolas didn’t give time for Blitzo to process the feelings that he just layed onto him out of nowhere???? When put in Blitz’s shoes, of course he’s not gonna take Stolas’s confession seriously, considering he treated Blitz like his “impish little plaything” their entire relationship up until now. Stolas took his reaction as a “rejection” when it was very clear Blitz was taken off guard by his sudden display of feelings, and just fucking DISMISSED HIM AFTERWARDS??? I understand that Blitz’s reaction was very explosive but he has every right to be pissed at Stolas for taking his initial reaction at face value and assuming the worst. STOP👏BLAMING👏IT👏ALL👏ON👏BLITZØ
He just shoved Blitz aside, and began putting words in his mouth/twisting the situation into some sort of anxiety fueled fantasy. Stolas is a good speaker, but he is not a good listener. At all.
Didn't Stolas "use" him? He even did so to get Octavia out of the house. When looking back at the older episodes, you think Strikers monologue meant something?
I have a feeling that Apology Tour is just gonna be Blitz’s reflection on all his past wrongdoings, and apologising to everyone he’s upset in some way or another. Apologising to Verosika for screwing her over, apologising to stolas for not taking him seriously, heck maybe even apologising to m&m for spying on them
I think people overlook that Blitzs rant at the end was how Stolas can't just dismiss him and then at the end Stolas did exactly that, dismissing him. Blitz actually just wanted to argue it out but Stolas couldn't take it anymore which I think was a fumble on his part. I love these two idiots there are both so toxic to eachother without really meaning it.
I think one of the reasons Blitz looks so concerned when he tries to apologise is bcz mabye that's the first time Blitz has ever seen Stolas pupils, and seeing them made him realize how hurt Stolas felt. Also why does Viv love traumatising Stolitz lovers 😭😭😭💔
Watching it separately without the silliness of the rest of the episode hours after you have time to come down from the excitement of the release makes it hit harder. The reality, the gravity of the scene is so... Tangible. First time I watched it, I said, "oh shit!" Now it's more, •sucks teeth• "Ouch-" They're both being unfair to each other. I can't explain how exactly since I'm bad at that sort of thing, but neither of them are innocent here.
It's not _just_ Blitz's fault, you know, and _anyone_ who thinks it is is an idiotic _asshole_ who just does _not_ understand Blitz and is misunderstanding him.
When I first saw that I sided with Stolas, but after rewatching, both are right and wrong. Stolas is an hypocrite who only hears what he already decided to hear and Don’t Consider blitzo’s freaking out, and Blitzo is just self-destructive, but he didn’t say a single lie on his oustburst
I think Blitz originally thought Stolas was scamming him to get rid of him now that he's bored. That's why he said he could do better. Then it finally clicked that Stolas was being sincere, and that's why he yells about needing a minute to process "this emotional bullshit," because he wasn't ready to even consider how he feels about Stolas outside of their deal. He refused to even think of the idea of a real relationship with him, so he needs time to switch gears and find out how he feels with this new understanding. Stolas is upset because he thinks he got Blitz's answer. Blitz is upset because he thinks he didn't get a chance to even consider an answer. Edit: And also, I think Stolas showed growth in walking away, because he's no longer willing to put up with verbal abuse and loud angry reactions from partners. He had enough of being yelled at by Stella, he wasn't sticking around for Blitz to call him a royal b××××.
The crystal was real hell he could of tested it, like that should and would of been a dead give away Stolas wasn't joking or going for some "Roleplay" my god Blizø can be so insufferable sometimes.
I don’t even ship these two, but that was painful and heartbreaking to watch. I feel so bad for these two, and they both deserve better…I hope they’ll be able to talk it out in future episodes.
I will honestly say that Blitzo really had this coming on his relationship with Stolas. I mean the guy was being very sincere and genuine and Blitzo just spat in his face.
Dude, not everything is Blitz's fault. Why does everyone keep thinking this?!! Ya'll are just deliberately misunderstanding Blitz at this point, just because you all want to paint only him as the bad guy. They are _both EQUALLY_ to blame here, why can't you idiots see that?!
@@loolooland1 Still though, people keep misunderstanding Blitz and blaming _everything_ in his and Stolas's relationship on him and shit, and honesty, I for one am _sick_ of the _constant_ anti-Blitz slander. Blitz and Stolas are both _equally_ to blame, end of story. They _both_ have problems and issues, they've _both_ said and done things to hurt the other, so they _both_ should apologize to each other if they wanna be together in the end. Just because Blitz fucked up his other relationships doesn't mean he was the _only_ one in the wrong in those relationships, either, like with Fizzarolli, for example. Neither of them were fully, or even truly at fault for all that, it was Blitz's Dad Cash Buckzo who made Fizzarolli believe that Blitz had abandoned him in his hour of greatest need, and with Blitz's sister, _she_ could have _also_ reached out to _him_ over the years, but she didn't _want_ to. See? _Not everything in all of Blitz's relationships is ENTIRELY his fault, so people REALLY need to stop INSISTING that it is._
@@hannahmetzger4880 And it's going to be worse in "Apology Tour" when people pull the same crap with Verosika. A character being good looking and having a nice voice doesn't make them innocent.
Is it just me, or does it seem like Blitzø was almost basically saying the same thing that Stryker was saying about how the royals always looked down on imps and played around with them?
Hot take maybe, but I think it's unfair for Stolas to blame Blitz for making things sexual when he literally started their relationship by assuming Blitz broke into his house just to "ravish him", even though they haven't spoken in like two decades. That's just what Blitz thinks Stolas wants. He even expresses those feelings at the end of the Ozzie's episode. I don't think there is a right or wrong person in this argument since neither of them are really listening to each other, I just thought that was kind of a dick move.
Long essay ahead: People like to think of situations in a black and white fashion, when in something like this when both sides are complex, flawed, and broken in their own ways, neither or are right nor wrong. Blitz has been used by his father (Cash) since he was a kid (in the case of The Circus, to rob Stolas basically with Cash guilt-tripping his own son), always being valued less than Fizz, and hell, Blitz accidentally causing the entire circus to burn down (eh, I forgot to mention there's horses with FLAMING MANES in a FLAMMABLE CIRCUS) and not only crippling Fizz to the point he has to hide his horns and needing prosthetics (plus basically living the lie of Fizz never wanting to see Blitz again because of Cash) but also his mom dying in the fire (while also being sick), the one time he wanted to truly let his love for someone being known, he immediately backed out due to being afraid and basically indirectly burned everything down to the ground. Blitz did not lie at any point during this, he felt that he was basically nothing more than just a plaything for someone of a royal status, seeing as Stolas in the past has not only inappropriately made things sexual when not necessary (just look at Loo Loo Land where he basically neglected his own daughter for the sake of inappropriately flirting with Blitz while on duty, which Blitz probably didn't even NEED to bodyguard Stolas, Stolas just WANTED Blitz to come along so he can focus all of his attention on him), but also basically degraded him by calling him pet names and literally his 'impish little plaything' in Truth Seekers. Yes, Blitz did turn things sexual when they reunited years after meeting as kids, but that was basically he was matching Stolas' energy to get his book to be able to run IMP (which wasn't right, it was miscommunication that shouldn't have happened but happened anyway), which caused Stolas' behavior to be validated and as a result, caused Stolas to basically continue that energy, making it all truly seem like nothing more than sex to not just Blitz but also Stolas. Not to mention Ozzie's, with the fact that, yes, Blitz only really dragged Stolas there just to watch Millie and Moxxie (which Blitz does to subconsciously understand how their relationship is as stable as it is), but Stolas, instead of standing up for Blitz and himself, he hides his face, validating Blitz's fears that their relationship was nothing more than sex. In this scene alone, Blitz was basically led to Stolas to believe that they were breaking up the transaction and therefore losing the book that's allowing his business to flourish (seeing as Blitz was begging Stolas, which shouldn't really be happening in what is supposed to be Stolas giving Blitz the opportunity of choice) because of Stolas' poor communication skills, not only that, but Stolas did NOT allow Blitz to be able to process the fact Stolas genuinely had feelings for him. Blitz, combined with how Stolas handled this confession and his self-destructive tendencies built up from living a shitty life, is basically in denial that someone GENUINELY loves him, because he feels that he simply does NOT deserve to be loved nor knows how to handle the prospect of being loved. Not only that, but Blitz feels that in this situation, he was continuously being dismissed, and guess what? Stolas dismissed him, not once, but TWICE. Once by walking away and not letting Blitz get a word in/allowing him to process the moment, and twice by basically kicking Blitz out of his mansion while also believing that Blitz thinks so low of him due to a heat-of-the-moment burst of rage, only validating that feeling of being dismissed. However, Stolas was basically forced into an arranged marriage and was never really allowed to be a kid but rather being forced into the royal lifestyle very young. Stella is basically (and seemingly one-dimensionally) outwardly abusive and not only mocks but also insults Stolas at EVERY turn, and sex being unpleasant for the both of them. Stolas really and truly felt happy when he saw and met Blitz (very conveniently when they were both kids), only really having his behavior validated by Blitz not communicating his feelings, basically having Stolas thinking that what he was doing was right, plus the power imbalance brought on by the privilege that Stolas has + treating the experience of being in a relationship with an imp as a mere novelty rather than considering their feelings. As mentioned before, Stolas basically took advantage of Blitz whenever he could by basically exploiting him to keep himself happy, despite the fact his decision has not only affected his daughter, but also worsening the relationship of him and his wife. After Ozzie's, he never really took responsibility more so than providing excuses. Stolas was probably the most open and communicative that he has ever been in this entire situation due to him wanting to be able to give Blitz a choice of whether to stay with him or not, but even then, he still controlled the whole situation by not only basically not giving Blitz enough time to properly understand Stolas' feelings, but also making Blitz insecure about himself and his social status. He literally made Blitz believe that they were breaking up and inadvertently invalidated Blitz's fears that were not only established in this episode but also what's been brewing in the background, rather than being direct immediately. Quite frankly, Stolas is a hypocrite for thinking that Blitz is in the wrong for seeing the relationship as nothing but sex SEX S E X, but Stolas was the one that validated such a way of thinking, so he isn't exactly innocent on that account. Not only that but he seems not really be as clearheaded as he's acting due to not having his medicine, so it probably did not help in this matter. He didn't even listen to Blitz, but rather really ran with his preconceived notion that Blitz is not going to return Stolas' feelings because of his fears being confirmed in a way that does not fit what is actually happening, but also dismissing Blitz twice, only validating Blitz's feelings even more, leaving him a confused, more broken mess. So what happened? Communication was delivered poorly from both sides. Blitz wasn't given time to process his feelings, but he also self-destructed his opportunity to be vulnerable with Stolas because he feels that he doesn't deserve love. Stolas unlocked his heart to Blitz by giving him a choice, but he also not only dismissed Blitz after not getting the response he wanted but also poorly handling his confession (as mentioned before, basically starting the whole thing off like a mom wanting a child to give something special to them up) instead of being direct right away to try to let Blitz be comfortable and vulnerable in the moment. However, the other issue is that they don't know each other enough besides a surface level understanding of each other, with Blitz believing Stolas to be nothing more than a blue blood using him as a plaything and nothing more, while Stolas not really knowing what is causing Blitz to be as self-destructive as he is, not to mention that Stolas never really learned how to consider other people's feelings, seeing as his feelings were not only disregarded but he was forced into a lifestyle of not considering other people's feelings besides his own + his royal duties. So how do they fix this? BY COMMUNICATING. A relationship is one that is balanced on both sides, with communication being a MUST. If they have things that they need to tell each other, they need to do so to make things work. Blitz needs to be open about his feelings, while Stolas needs to be more direct and allow Blitz to process things. But in order to make that happen, they need to work on themselves first before working things out. Blitz needs to work on a way to not self-destruct things and realize that there's people out there that do love him and that nothing bad will happen if he is vulnerable, while Stolas needs to realize the power imbalance the two have with each other and needing to consider other people's feelings before jumping to preconceived conclusions (well, Blitz needs to do that too but that falls under the self-destructive category to an extent). Blitz and Fizz were able to fix their relationship by communicating and talking things out properly (albeit during moments where they had to keep themselves from getting killed), so if Stolas and Blitz talked things out by talking to each other properly, it could be a good start in terms of paving the road for a better future, even if they just end up as friends (like how Blitz and Fizz have ended up as good friends [to where Blitz can go to Fizz for, well, sex toys in a casual way) and leaving their previous relationship as a learning experience. So Stolitz is a disaster, but the both of them need to take the proper steps to make the relationship work. Both of them are in the wrong, this is not a black and white situation, it never was. Stolas should NOT have been the complete victim he has been painted as via Viv's writing (as in making Stella an one-dimensional dick that wants nothing more than to torment Stolas and exploit him), and the fans need to realize that Blitz is broken by trauma and at least understand why he responded to Stolas' confession and behavior the way he did. Media literacy is important for story and character driven shows like Hazbin and Helluva, and people need to look into media more to properly understand it than seeing it as a black-and-white surface level interpretation. So in conclusion, neither Blitz nor Stolas were in the right in this situation, as they're both broken people for similar and yet different reasons, and they both handled the situation in a way that in the future can be used as a learning experience for the both of them. TLDR; Stolitz is a disaster and neither of the two are right, no matter how you look at it.
My unpopular opinion: Stolas is on the right, not Blitz. Stolas made is as obvious as he possibly could about having feelings for Blitz (I mean, come one. What else could he have possibly said to sound more convincing? He was crystal clear about what he wanted (no pun intended)), giving him the crystal and taking the book and openly admitting he was wrong. Not to mention that there was also Fizz feeling Blitz directly that no one goes as far as Stolas went just for sex. The song in the beginning also points out Blitz avoided talking to Stolas and it was also pointed out Stolas let him not have to go have sex with him and that Blitz CHOSE not to go. Not to mention on earlier episodes where Stolas rescues the Imps, invite them to the festival without asking for sex, and Blitz avoiding chatting with him on the phone and not visiting him at the hospital. Stolas actually goes out of his way to show affection while Blitz is the one who keeps “hiding away” and refusing to see what’s in front of him. And if Blitz is trying to deny reality and act like it’s all a game because he’s afraid to get hurt in a relationship, that’s on him, not Stolas, Verossika or anyone else. No one is forced to fix him or put up with his toxic behavior. Stolas was right to dump him.
The sad thing is, Fizz told Blitz that there was more that Stolas wanted. "No one goes that far for a fuck."
“Nobody cares that much just for a cheap lay”

Lmao blitz used stolas in the first place and it was an agreement so blitz is to blame
Still, the fact that Stolas admitting to Blitz that their arrangement was wrong in the first place and that he wants to make things right is a step in the right direction for him.

@@tonberry2670 I’m not saying that’s not a valid reason, I’m saying that because Blitzo took that seriously but not taking Stolas seriously, thinking it was role play, probably hurt Stolas and caused him to believe that Blitzo didn’t care about him

Blitz thought Stolas was joking, up till he wanted his grimour back.

(Gasps) Oh... 😲
I agree w/ everything u said.
Meanwhile Stolas suffering is told subtle and it relies on the viewer to make connections based on the scenes hes in and some of the dialogue Stolas has.
Igual en esos momentos Stolas no estaba en sus 5 sentidos ya que no había tomado sus antidepresivos
Even after Stolas gave him the diamond Blitz said 'I can do better"😢
3:25 I fucking LOVE the animation here. The hand motion that he does when he says "Smaller" feels so real and like it's from a genuine real person.
Dude… Biltzo dropped the motherfucking feathery ball so gosh dang hard

Thank you. This analysis is something I’ve been building since The Harvest Moon Festival, and I’ve been updating it with almost each episode. And yeah, media literacy is on life support, and I’ve learned that I hate Twitter, a lot.
3:25 : Geeking over that zoom cut on Blitz's face, wonderful visual storytelling.
2:12 : Notice how the glimmer in Blitz's eyes dissapear.
“Don’t get feelings, how do I handle this, do I want this?” SO MANY THOUGHTS
Są bez siebie szcześlię
Even though this made me hold back tears I like how stolas blushed at Blitz saying he doesn't disappoint
the fact you can notice that Blitzø in the end was about to say "I'm sorry" when Stolas teleported him out, you can hear
"Stolas, I'm s-" is just like- WHYYYY!?!? 😭
he shouldn’t apologize. HE WAS RIGHT
but honestly the last word made birds fly away “what the…..FUUUUUUUUÇÆÃÆK”
0:24 : That look on Stolas...That slight hesitation.
The worst part is that 'I love you' wasn't genuine. My heart bleeds for you Stolas. 🥺
This imp can't get a break
But even the apology won't fix it ... the relationship, blitz hasn't realised the feelings yet , he needs to think to understand to love...
and only time can fix it
He needs to lose him to undrestand
He needs to lose him
to gain him back

Stolas made like almost all the mistakes in this can't even call it relationship
1:57 of this vid. The look Blitz had when Stolas said "You don't have to stay here with me" was like 'wait what?'
When stolas started crying I started to tear up
same :(
So Did I.
Also everything in the mansion is covered, probably implying he’s selling the place and leaving
It really shows how hurt Stolas was when you notice that his top pair of eyes were crying as well. I don’t think they’ve ever done that during previous times when he cried.
YOU CAN TELL Brandon Rogers wrote Blitzs dialogue himself that delivery was classic Brandon Rogers writing.
Tempted to blast “Look My Way”, more so force Blitz to watch it. It just is so…so… heartfelt.
Poor Stolas, he deserves better. Blitz had better be good to anyone who he finally shares his heart with.
he just struggled to comprehend stolas having genuine feelings for him and panicked, barely realizing at the end and not really having the chance to process it.
*I hear ya, I actually “Felt Hurt” on what Blitz replied to Stolas feelings despite him being a Royal Blue Blood.*
Blitz actually cares for Stolas too. He just can't comprehend that anyone could ever want him, especially not someone rich and royal.
Blitz is someone good too but they don’t understand each other
The thing is, neither of them listened to each other during this argument so it isn’t entirely Blitzø’s fault.
Blitz is my favorite Helluva Boss character, and I want him to have a good relationship. But his relationship with Stolas is one sided and toxic.
Exactly! That's how I feel about their relationship. It isn't healthy
Yeah blitzo is also my favorite. Because I can relate to him so well..💔❤️🖤
It's not one sided it's just both are on multiple different pages
It’s definitely not one sided-
It's not one sided, it's just that these 2 haven't been communicating with each other. This was the closest they've gotten to actually talking about their feelings but they're still not listening to each other.
Brandon and Bryce's voice delivery in this argument was right on point and I really felt for Stolas here because he's not just a sex toy for Blitz he really does love Biltz yet Blitz doesn't
The fact that Blitz keeps saying he can’t do better breaks my heart because he thinks that he can’t be good enough for people 😭😭😭
0:24 you can tell he wanted to but he chose blitz over himself. Personally I feel like both pushed eachother away really since stolas just teleported blitz away when he tried to apologise
*Wow, Blitz is trying to make sure that he still has Access to the book and he is so Slow understanding Stolas decision of their “Deal”.*
See now I’m crying a lot bc when he said I’m just gonna die alone I think he meant it
Stolas x blitz will be in our hearts and mind rip stolas x blitz 😭😭😭
Stolas was spilling out his feelings and the facts and I feel bad for him since he wanted Blitzo to understand it and know what he meant but Instead Blitzo just did not understand at the very beginning when stolas said that blitzo was free of him that he does not need him anymore like damn that made me tear up a bit.
AND THEN THIS SCENE MADE ME FU*KING CRY - 2:47
Also I did not expect blitzo to yell and have tears when he said "WHAT!?FU*K YOU STOLAS YOU SPREEDING FEELING BULLSH*T AT ME ARE YOU FU*KING KIDDING!?
And hey, I am
not saying the words that Blitzø said to Stolas was right in anyway, I am just trying to point out here on what he did was not excusable but it’s reasonable. I mean the same goes with Stolas of course, considering his abusive relationship with Stella I wouldn’t blame him for being upset. And his only first friend he had a crush on for years to insult him in a way that symbolises Stella it’s really sad. (This is my view of the argument in my perspective)
@@AvinSuallo TOTALLY AGREED!
tbh when i heard blitz say he needed the book that made me feel like he said that because he meant he needed stolas. im not sure if thats what thag meant but i have a feeling that's what he meant.
Because he didn't believe that Stolas could really love him😢
0:23 The way his face change from being horny to serious in second reveals how his feelings and his confusing mind has taken over him.

@@ScarletPendragon97 I guess the deal is off
At 3:53 is it just me or was Blitz going to say “Im sorry”?
Brandon and Bryce nailed this scene
This hurts because they both really care about each other but they didn’t handle the communication right I hope they can sit down and have a long conversation and try to work things out
Times when actors weren’t acting
This broke me and seeing Stolas cry 😔😔😔😔😔💔
This ending is so heartbreaking. How could Vivienne do this to all of us?
YES, _STOP 👏👏👏 BLAMING 👏👏👏 IT 👏👏👏 ALL 👏👏👏 ON 👏👏👏 BLITZ 👏👏👏👏!!!!!_
0:24 stolas still liking him but I hope in next episode Apology Tour maybe blitz apologizes to everyone MAYBE EVEN VEROSIKA

This was very emotional 😔
I think one of the reasons Blitz looks so concerned when he tries to apologise is bcz mabye that's the first time Blitz has ever seen Stolas pupils, and seeing them made him realize how hurt Stolas felt. Also why does Viv love traumatising Stolitz lovers 😭😭😭💔

The reality, the gravity of the scene is so...
Tangible.
First time I watched it, I said, "oh shit!" Now it's more, •sucks teeth• "Ouch-"
They're both being unfair to each other.
I can't explain how exactly since I'm bad at that sort of thing, but neither of them are innocent here.
Wow this episode was instense the way blitz shouted at him was very emotional
i honestly hate how much of a hypocrite Stolas was in this scene. Stolas says “it’s not about sex.” with Stolas being the one who made it about sex.
Blitz had something very special right in front of him and he wrecked it
Honestly.... they both wrecked it
It's not _just_ Blitz's fault, you know, and _anyone_ who thinks it is is an idiotic _asshole_ who just does _not_ understand Blitz and is misunderstanding him.
Special??!!! As up this point stolas has treaten him like a sex puppet
I think this is perfect, its such a good jump off point for the both of them get get their heads on straight and cool down
When I first saw that I sided with Stolas, but after rewatching, both are right and wrong.
This just sad and emotional for everyone I can't believe this ended like this

I suppose Blitzø thinking this is role-playing isn’t completely unreasonable, when the starter is a crystal Stolas got from his he demon lord of sex.
And on top of that don't they meet up on full moons for the act

I will honestly say that Blitzo really had this coming on his relationship with Stolas. I mean the guy was being very sincere and genuine and Blitzo just spat in his face.
Stolas also had Blitz's final reaction coming due to how he presented everything leading up to it.

How is this supposed to be just you. They said the same thing not just in meaning but also just in general. Striker said apple and blitz said apple
I cried when this argument happened
Blitzø never even accepted the crystal..
0:30 Bruhhh Stolas had Blitz crying 30 seconds in. He definitely could've structured the convo better. And like, did he even NOTICE him crying???
Long essay ahead:
People like to think of situations in a black and white fashion, when in something like this when both sides are complex, flawed, and broken in their own ways, neither or are right nor wrong.
Stolas deserves the world 😭
My unpopular opinion: Stolas is on the right, not Blitz.
Finally. Someone said it. Stolas couldnt make himself more clear
Blitz is SpongeBob when he's finally had enough of everyone's humiliation.
